I loved staying at Cheryl's and Surj's place. They are amazing people and they really made me feel welcome from the start til the end of my stay. I had the pleasure to meet them and share some great times. The house is new and beautiful and the place is remote, but a paradise if you are looking for nature, for a calm time; it felt like I was living in a retreat center. I really had a great stay and Apollo and Atlas were amazing company. I enjoyed the walks with them as well as time playing. I miss them already. You need a car if you want to get around or you can take the train until Huntington and get a taxi. You can get delivery of groceries and most things to the house. Everyone in the neighbour is very lovely and kind. I highly recommend Cheryl and Surj and I hope to meet you again in the future.
My husband, son, and I spent 5 nights with Mochi and Penny and really enjoyed our visit. Brad and Jennifer's home is super comfortable and it worked well for working from “home”, with strong wifi and a nice work station. The area is safe and there is a nice park, playground, and walking trails a few blocks away. Brad and Jennifer were great communicators and left detailed instructions on how to care for Penny and Mochi. I highly recommend this housesit.
Spending time with Geeta in Anita’s coastal CT home was a dream. Geeta is the sweetest dog ever and she was very easy to care for. She is very gentle and I enjoyed our twice daily walks through the quiet neighborhood. Anita’s home is so lovely and comfortable. She has everything you would need and the most comfy bed. Anita communicated well and left great instructions for Greta’s care. I look forward to another opportunity to care for Geeta in the future.
Rebecca's apartment is cute and cozy, a perfect home base to explore the city! Noodle is the sweetest pup and very easy to care for. Would happily watch him anytime :)
Absolute dream of a housesit. Tina and Elvis are the most loving, playful and joyous cats you could meet, we are going to miss them terribly! Fields made us feel very welcome and comfortable in her beautiful home, and we spent some lovely time in her company. The area is lovely, we had calming and interesting walks from the door in each direction every day, the brook running through the village has lots of rare wildlife to enjoy, and the local villages are very pretty and interesting - lots of good food, nice pubs and friendly folk. Spending the days with the cats playing, cuddling and enjoying their characters has been a true joy. We would definitely come back! Huge thanks to Fields for your generosity, thorough guidance and for the wonderful opportunity to spend time with you, Tina and Elvis.
Clothilde and John left clear instructions and were happy to be contacted for any questions, no matter how minor. Freddie their dog was a joy to look after, so friendly and well trained. We also enjoyed looking after the other animals and the polytunnel. The house was very comfortable in the stunning Vale of Avoca. Strongly recommend
