Katie was absolutely wonderful! Very sweet and communicative and took great care of the animals and house. We have a lot of animals, so I left a detailed checklist for each day. She marked off every box and was very conscientious about ensuring everything was done as needed. The animals were all very happy when we returned as well :). I would highly recommend Katie for your next house/pet sit!

A great part of the UK.House is beautiful and Martin and Dy are delightful. Scarla is affectionate and an excellent companion. Bella and Sooty are real characters and the hens all have personalities!. We were very fortunate. A great start to our UK sojourn.

Jessica
We felt so lucky to stay at Jessica and Rob's home. It was spacious, very comfortable, well-equipped, and private. You'll love their two dogs, who are loving and amiable (easy-going and friendly!). Chance is the older guy, and he's just happy to be there. He's not getting around as easy, but is great on walks and hanging around the house. Oso is younger, alert (and more likely to bark if he hears something), and so gentle with humans! When he takes a treat from your hand, it's just a whisper of his muzzle that touches you. He's also strong, so there's a no-pull leader you'll use on walks that keep him from walking you. Both dogs are VERY EASY to care for and getting out to walk them once or twice a day was good exercise. The area is beautiful, with tons of trees, a nearby small-plane airstrip and float-plane lake (both under snow when we visited). The neighborhood is all single-family houses with tons of space in between. I loved the mix of nature and "close to town" since everything we needed was just 1.8 miles away.

Jessica's communication is top-notch and her flexibility made us instantly feel at home and welcomed. We were given choices of where to sleep (we chose the bed above the garage because we liked the light!), urged to eat any and everything in the kitchen, and strongly encouraged to try the mini-sauna and also the hot tub on the deck. There is nothing better than a great hot tub on a cold winter's night! If you're lucky, you'd be able to see the aurora above you while you soak.

North Pole, Alaska, is only 13 miles from Fairbanks. Once you've visited the local sights, you can go into Fairbanks for more. My husband and I would gladly house/dog sit for this family again, and we recommend it for you as well!

Simon and his wife Lisa were super friendly since our first chat! I'm sorry that we couldn't meet in person because of our timings. Simon's brother was very friendly, too and he picked me up from the train station to the house and introduced me everything.

The house is very big and confortable with a large and great garden and hot tub! Also the pound with the fish is very nice and you have the river just behind with great green walks where I went everyday with Jessie and Pippa. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood, close to the bus and train that goes to Manchester city center all day long.

I only have beautiful words to say about Jessie and Pippa. They are very easy going dogs and friendly since I arrived. Pippa is a little more independent, but she also likes cuddles and being pet (not in her ears!). Jessie is extremely lovely and asks for love all the time.

I hope I can go again in the future, I've spent amazing days in their place!

Sheila
This was a very easy and enjoyable sit even with 2 big dogs and 3 cats. Sheila had everything laid out for us so feeding and giving medication was a breeze. All of her pets were really well behaved and even though we were only there 2 days everyone was comfortable.
The neighborhood was great as we could walk down to the beach and get onto a bike path which was flat and paved. The view from her deck was amazing and we watched the ferries come and go.
Sheila was a great communicator and one of the most generous hosts that we have ever met. Thank-you Sheila and we would love to come back.

I had a lovely stay at Francis’ place with Misha. Misha is as described, requires company and is a good boy. Portobello is a great neighborhood. I highly recommend!

We spent a week looking after Jane's place, Ashley the dog, Jinxy the cat and 2 happy Guinea pigs in a lovely spot in Tunbridge Wells. Ashley was a delight to look after and accompanied us on day trips with no issues. Jane's house is well appointed, has a nice garden and is close to lots of greenspace where Ashley could run around. Jinxy needed little attention. We had an enjoyable stay and Jane is a great house host.
