Absolutely loved staying at Joelle’s home. They are a great family, and incredibly welcoming! Peanut didn’t stay with us this time, but he was adorable and fun to be around. Coco and Lucy are great, very sweet and gentle! Love them and it was so refreshing getting some pasture time with them. We spent a lot of time with Mama, who we absolutely adored getting all the pets from. Kitty kept to himself, and occasionally checked out what we were up to and accepted a rub. Dixie is also great- does her own thing most of the time, but we got an occasional head boop. Would welcome the opportunity to house sit any time, we enjoyed ourselves. The area is beautiful, and there are so many things to explore right out the front door. Great place to just relax.
Bridget could not have been easier to arrange the sit with. She was chilled and relaxed and left me with a menagerie of dogs, cat, chickens and tortoises who are clearly loved. The were an absolute delight to sit for and enriched my time greatly. Bridget was kind in making space in her wonderful shed which became a perfect working studio for me. I am missing all my friends at Bridget's!
Lynn and Roger were very welcoming, helpful and full of good information. Their cat, Zak, was a joy, and their house is lovely and comfortable. The area itself is full of beautiful little villages and fabulous vistas. We can definitely recommend housesitting here!
