Dog Sitters in Purley

In my head, i had already written this review but it turns out i hadn't. It was very easy to communicate with them before they came to house sit for me. They took excellent care of my apartment and more importantly - Minerva was very well looked after under their care.

Magdalena was reliable and professional leading up to and during the sit. She sent a daily update of our dog to us, as requested. Would recommend her to other dog owners for sure.

Janine & Steven arrived on time and it was obvious that their love of animals was totally unquestionable. Their communication throughout their stay was very good. Although I put new batteries in the cat-flap, tv remotes, front door bell etc etc, the one thing that I didn’t think of was the smoke alarm in the Plant Room and of course, that decided to start beeping towards the end of their stay here. We asked them to turn the alarms off at the fuse box, but Steven said it was still beeping. When I got home, I turned it off and after 5mins that solved the issue until I could buy new 9v batteries the next day. They were very sweet and left us lovely flowers, a card and chocolates which was very thoughtful of them. Because we arrived home quite late, they’d already departed as they themselves had a long journey home. On first appearances the house looked tidy. They both preferred a bath to a shower, so I’d told them they could use the bath in my bedroom. Well, I don’t think it had been cleaned at all in the whole time they were here and I found myself at 10pm scrubbing the bath and toilets until they were clean! The bed sheet also was covered in blood spots and hair and I immediately felt I had to wash the bedding, mattress protector/pillow protectors even though by then it was approaching 10.30pm and we had our holiday washing to do as well. A real shame as otherwise we would have had no complaints and I hate putting anything negative but you have to be honest otherwise it makes leaving a review pointless.

Letizia and Giijs were great Housesitters and took great care of our beloved dog, Betty and cat. They sent the occasional update and were very self sufficient. The house was left clean and tidy. They are a lovely couple.

We are delighted to share our exceptional experience with JJ and Louis as our house and pet sitters. As newcomers to the world of Zeewoi, we were a little nervous but our encounter with them was an entirely positive one. Without hesitation, we would absolutely reengage their services and recommend to others, they gave us total peace of mind when looking after our home and animals. Their exceptional communication skills were evident from the moment of booking and throughout their stay. They consistently sent updates and photos on WhatsApp, ensuring we were always in the loop. Any concerns or questions they had were promptly shared with us, demonstrating their transparency and trustworthy approach to the well-being of our pets and home. Their responsibilities involved looking after 2 dogs, 2 cats, a tortoise and fish and watering a large garden. Their task was undoubtedly challenged, as they also had to handle 2 untrained kittens, a situation that proved to be quite demanding at times, in terms of litter training and keeping doors shut etc. The weather was also atrocious during their stay but their positivity, adaptability and reliability shone through, making them an entirely trustworthy choice. They are clearly experienced with animals and evidently genially care about them, going above and beyond to make sure they were happy and cared for and even bought the kittens a little play tunnel. In fact I'm uncertain whether our pets even realised when we returned, which is quite unusual, as the dogs and cats usually sulk for days after we're back! Upon our return, we were pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful gesture of wine, flowers, treats for the animials and a thank you note, a testament to their genuine care and appreciation for the opportunity and their love of animals. I would absolutely recommend JJ and Louis to anyone seeking top-notch house and pet sitters.

Georgia looked after Mimi very well. She responded promptly to communication and I felt very confident leaving Mimi with her whilst I was away. The house was left very clean and tidy. I would be happy to recommend Georgia to other owners.

Janelyn & Alfonso were the perfect cat sitters! Their communication was brilliant beforehand and made the effort to come see the flat and meet Pippa. They left the flat absolutely spotless and we incredibly respectful. Their updates were wonderful to see and Pippa seemed to have a lovely time.

Chris looked after our dog, Daisy, this past weekend with his daughter. He is clearly a lover of dogs and took excellent care of Daisy, taking her for lots of walks and sending us lots of lovely photos. The house was spotless when we returned and Daisy was very happy. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Chris and hope that he can sit for us again.

Megan and Ryan were absolutely brilliant. As we were first timers to this we didn’t know what to expect but M & R were super communicative and immediately gave us confidence. Our cat Watson seems not to have even noticed we’d gone so proof that he was happy and I’m convinced the house was cleaner when we came back than when we’d left! 5 stars all round.

It was lovely to meet Helen, and she took great care to read my welcome pack thoroughly and ask lots of questions in advance of the sit. Good communication and a flexible approach were also much appreciated. She looked after everything very well during the week I was away, and I came home to happy cats and a clean and tidy home :-)

Lynn was great. We had supper together the night before we left, as we always try to do with our house sitters, and felt very at ease about leaving Willow and Loki in Lynn’s care. We returned home to a clean & tidy home and very happy pets. Would not hesitate to recommend Lynn or to ask her to house sit for us again.

Kate and her family looked after our pets and home brilliantly whilst we were away. The house was spotless on our return and the animals had obviously been well looked after. We would definitely welcome them back if they wanted to return. Thank you for everything!
