Prashant and India are the best! They stayed in our home and watched our 3 year old dog Charlie for about 10 days; they were super communicative and friendly start to finish, took great care of Charlie (it was clear he forgot who we were within an hour after we left), and left the place in tip top shape. As we told them, it was even cleaner than we left it when we got home! We would be happy to welcome them back anytime and would highly recommend them to anyone.
I am completely in love with Rocky and Poe. The best cats ever - very independent in the day and all snuggly at night. An absolute pleasure! John is great, told me the back roads to skip thr ferry traffic and recommended pubs and coffee shops. His home is immaculate, full of high quality amenities and situated in a great spot moments away from the ocean, the local high street and a short drive to Victoria. Cannot recommend enough.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Chelsea with Muffin and Pepper, and I am very glad to have had the opportunity to meet Laura and Susan. You can't find nicer people on the planet. The cats are very well-behaved, communicative and affectionate. I found them very easy to care for and I enjoyed their company. Muffin kept me entertained each day with his ingenuity. Laura and Susan's home is lovely and surrounded by colourful gardens and forest. They gave me a bright, beautiful room with the most comfortable bed you could ask for. The area in which they live is very scenic and has nice villages to visit, great restaurants and activities for visitors in every season. I particularly enjoyed kayaking and swimming from their dock. I look forward to an opportunity to go back again!
This was a wonderful pet and house sit. Saffy, Charlie and Tilly are great girls, very well behaved, gentle and playful. Kay and Richard left very clear instructions on feeding and medication which made the sit very straight forward. The house and garden are beautiful, immaculately clean and very comfortable, set in a pretty village only a few miles from the historic town of Buxton. We would highly recommend this sit and would very much like to go back, should they need sitters in the future. Thank you for a great weekend.
Owain is really a lovely dog. He's incredibly gentle, loving, cuddly, and curious. It might take some time to truly get to know him, but don't worry, you'll quickly get used to his routine and fall in love with this gentlegiant. Our time in Berlin was truly amazing ❤️. The apartment was spacious and cosy, and Owain proved to be the most perfect companion throughout our stay.
Hi had a wonderful time at Nicole and Chris place! Such a nice house and Baxter, Jack and misty where really easy to rake care of and they will pay you back straight away with lots of cuddles! I had a great connection with Nicole and Chris from the start and felt so welcome the night before they left as I had a delicious dinner and good conversation. The house is beautiful and clean everything you need is at hand. I would love to do an housesit for them again!
This is a wonderfully luxurious and enjoyable housesit (even when the lake is too cold for swimming)!, and with a cat (Thor, also known as Puss Puss), who is quite the fascinating creature with his personality and likes and dislikes. The house overlooks a long view of Lake Keowee (a fabulous and huge lake in South Carolina) and the mountains in the distance. The house is on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous trees and landscaping plus some open woods across from the house and no neighbors visible unless you look out across the lake. It is in a gated community (make sure you have the homeowners' names and house address available for reporting to the gate attendant!!!!) I arrived with all the food/groceries I needed as I didn't have any interest in leaving; I think it is fifteen or twenty minutes to the closest grocery store. This sit is highly desired; I say a lot more below, but if you get the chance to be here, please know you will be so glad you did. I am sure I haven't even remembered all there is to say!!! Cole and Susan moved in to their house just a couple months ago and while they say they are awaiting new furniture, the house is wonderfully and comfortably furnished already. The main part of the first floor is an open floor plan for the kitchen (gourmet with two ovens, six burner stove, and all the gadgets), dining area, living room with a gas fireplace, and a wine/pub room, all with cathedral ceilings and floor to ceiling windows along the whole side of the house that overlook the lake and the mountains. It is stunning and words don't really capture the beauty and the comfort. There is also a four-seasons room, or maybe a three-seasons room as it might be too chilly in the midst of the winter, but it has three walls of windows and a gas fireplace - so wonderful to spend time here with tea or wine and books! There are three bedrooms on the lower level, with stairs or an elevator to get there! Plus another gas fireplace and lots and lots of windows everywhere. The bedding was deliciously cozy. There are several decks and sitting areas outside, including areas with gas fires and propane heating lamps. Lots of comfortable seating areas. It is quite a stunning walk down to the lake - the house sits up quite high above the lake, so it is a winding and somewhat steep walk to get to the dock, yet beautifully designed and landscaped. There is a canoe for use and when it is warm enough, you can swim directly off the dock. This will be a great place for hanging out when the weather is warmer. There is underwater lighting fixture ( I forget what it is called) that allows you to see creatures in the water when you are in the house!!! I also saw a heron flying over the lake multiple times. Thor is an older kitty - so smart, so communicative, so delightful to get to know. He is a bit of a finicky eater; yet, eats well when his food is kept fresh and when he likes the flavor of the day!! He has this great cat perch in the kitchen and spends his time there watching you whenever you are there - maybe hoping you will give him more of the fresh chicken he gets twice a day!! He does take two pills a day plus catlax; he doesn't fight you when giving this, but he is an expert on pocketing the pill in his mouth even after he appears to swallow it!! So...you have to watch to make sure it is swallowed rather than spit out after he walks away!!! He does love to meow his dismay......yet, will also talk back to you at happier times. He didn't always want to be petted, as he was still wondering what happened to his "people" and was still getting used to being in a totally new home environment. He liked staying close to me whereever I was. Cole and Susan gave a great orientation to the house. They were highly responsive in communication and appreciated the frequent photos I sent. They wanted me to feel comfortable and at ease in the house. This was a favorite sit. Five stars and more.
