I booked this sit because I was intrigued by the location in Point Roberts, WA and the sit did not disappoint! Galen is a true pleasure. She welcomed me into her beautiful home and helped make the stays perfect. The cats, Harold and Maude, are amusing and tenacious. I highly recommend booking a sit with Galen and her kitties in this unique Washington location.
I loved my time watching Ella for Peggy Lee and Moritz! They live in a wonderful neighborhood, full of restaurants and stores, close to the underground metro. Ella — although skittish about a few things — was so sweet and cuddly. She sat on my lap most days while I was working remotely. Her mannerisms reminded me more of a cat, than a dog. Peggy Lee and Moritz were very welcoming…and I loved their sense of humor when I sent them daily photos of Ella. I would definitely watch Ella again for them!
Our housesit at Bruar Lodge was absolutely divine. Eddie was ball-crazy and Bertie was full of beans and they were a delight pair to look after. We took the dogs on many hikes in the Glen and around Cairngorms National Park which they loved. And we had an excellent time cooking in Kate and Mike’s impressive kitchen, sharing whisky with Dom, and feeding the chickens. What a little piece of paradise!
Lynne was fantastic, very communicative and friendly! Her apartment is adorable and comfortable. Little Nora is a ball of mischievous energy and will definitely keep you entertained! She is very curious and playful, so don't expect a lazy, independent cat 😅 She is quite young though, and she's not mean at all, just rambunctious. Her sweet moments were adorable with her headbutts and purring. Caught her sleeping on me a few times 😁 I would love to sit for Lynne and Nora again, definitely recommend.
We absolutely adored spending 3 weeks with Waffles. She is the cutest Dachshund, smart, loving, funny and super playful. We enjoyed our daily walks at Emmerentia, although Waffles does not like being on the lead. We felt comfortable in our last week to walk her off leash and she stayed close by. We miss her! Erla & Craniv are gracious and kind. They left us with clear instructions on their home, and all the food prep for Waffles. Their home is an oasis in the city, a beautifully renovated charming house with the original wooden floors and pressed ceilings. If you get a chance to pet sit Waffles, take it! James & Jackie are absolutely wonderful people. We were so so fortunate to be able to meet them, spend time with them, and get to experience this beautiful part of the world. Their home is spectacular- all the amenities you would need if you want to live like a local in the suburbs of Geneva (on the French side) for a bit. They’ve got great local knowledge and will set you up for success to experience the French Alps! And their sweet, sweet pups might be the most well behaved dogs we’ve ever come across. So loving and affectionate. So easy to care for. It was sad to say goodbye!! We miss them already. Look forward to staying in close contact with these wonderful humans :)
