We could not have asked for better house/pet sitters than Alice and Tien. Our Goldendoodle Molly got amazing loving care from them during the week they hung out. They left our house in beautiful condition. We would have them back in a second!!

Kaletra was communicative and on time to pre-conversations prior to the sit. She is friendly and responsive, and left the house as she found it. Things were in order and cats taken care of upon return. We definitely recommend her for others.

Lakisha is such a wonderful house sitter and animal companion! One could literally not find a better personality to care for animals. Lakisha is a detail oriented, focused but flexible career woman, who is somehow also an outdoorsy, hiking, nature-loving vegan, completely in harmony with animals. She’s able to work from home, so she spent tons of time with my cat. I don’t have dogs right now, but if I did, she would have been cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and hiking with them every day. She literally offered to bring her own cleaning supplies and detergent, to make sure that they are vegan and cruelty free. She organized my kitchen and took adorable pictures of my cat, and sent me a little videos of him. She is the perfect housesitter. I was really wowed by Lakisha’s care, and am so grateful for everything she did…taking care of François, my beloved three legged kitty cat, for an entire month, when I was on the other side of the world. When I first interviewed with Lakisha, she had really great questions. For instance, she prompted, “Tell me about your daily routine with François.” Then she truly listened as I described a day with my cat. Which, for all you cat people out there, is really not a very exciting day. But she took notes. She then asked, “Does he have any special needs or medications?” At the time, he wasn’t on any medication, but right before I left, he did get a prescription… And Lakisha was completely willing to embark upon the difficult task of managing medication in a cat that she had just met. She was really fearless when it came to his health and needs. I was traveling to the other side of the world, in South Sudan, where I didn’t know if I would have Internet access and was working in a stressful situation. Lakisha would send me pictures of François, or a little videos of him playing with his mouse. It was such a relief to know that he was safe and OK with somebody. I remember the day when she wrote to me that they had really connected… And I knew that he actually had a friend who saw his special spark. Then… (!!!) I had to extend my stay…over Christmas, and she stayed extra just to take care of him, through the holidays. Absolutely amazing. When I came home, the house was perfectly clean, with a little gift on the counter. Lakisha had remembered that I made a joke about taking care of my basil plant (It was clearly an already dead plant)….so she bought me a brand new one and also a really pretty nice smelling candle. I am so lucky to have had her with my beloved cat, when I was so very far away, never having left him for so long. It is amazing how somebody can be a stranger one moment, and then they are a beloved cat-auntie the next… Somebody to really trust with your pet and your home. Thank you so much, Lakisha!

Julie & Mike

Julie and Mike are great, kind people and did a wonderful job on a 4 night sit. They have a friendly, clear communications style that makes them easy to connect with. Once here, they sent pics daily of a happy Ginger. They were very self-sufficient -- the house was so clean and tidy when we returned, it was almost as if no one had even been here while we were away! I'd definitely highly recommend Mike and Julie.

This was Shanta's second sitting for Tilly at my home. It was a pleasure to have her care for Tilly who seemed to remember her. Shanta is a warm and reliable sitter and I have come to know her over the past year I would now consider her a friend. Shanta is an experienced house/pet sitter and is both knowledgeable as well as respectful of how she cared for Tilly but also my home.. I have no hesitation in recommending her and hopefully she will sit for us again.

She was very attentive to making sure that everything was taken care of while we were gone for two weeks and made me feel assured by sending videos and communicating throughout our absence. This was a wonderful housesit and I highly recommend it to anyone. Debra and Kevin were gracious hosts and very easy to communicate with during the sit. The chickens are adorable and so easy, just some feeding and watering with treats here and there (and watch them come running for that!). The house is lovely with lots of outdoor space to enjoy the natural beauty of Bainbridge, and the town is a short drive away, and lots of great hikes and towns to explore nearby.  A great experience!

It was wonderful to sit for Heather and Chris at their idyllic home. All of the animals are incredibly sweet. Sonata and Ironman are easy to care for and blanket. Toots and Grey are amazing cuddlers and were great company in the house. Grey is quite a proficient mouser, so we learned to get the mice away from him right away before he starts eating them. The house itself is well-equipped for a homey, very comfortable stay. Heather welcomed us in with delicious, home-cooked meals and even accommodated my vegetarian preferences. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our time in Crick and highly recommend it to anyone who loves the countryside, animals, and has farm/equine experience. Thank you to Heather and Chris for a beautiful week!

I can't recommend Kim's sit highly enough! Kim and Chris were super organized and easy to communicate with throughout. The house and neighborhood are fantastic and the pool's a perfect way to relax at the end of a hot day. Of course, Scout's the star of the show :) Just a really sweet, low-maintenance kitty that was a wonderful companion throughout the sit. 5-stars!

The home and the location are both beautiful. Kimberly went above and beyond during my stay and was available to help in any way. She's very personable and welcoming. 
The horses are phenomenal, the puppies equally such. The farm itself is great if you are needing to board your horses, they have stalls and shower facilities a training ring and two large pastures.
There are many kayaks and even a SUP that you can take out as long as it's not windy.
Can't recommend this location enough!

We had a short stay, only 5 days, but nevertheless was excellent, the house is very comfortable and Clare and Eric had left everything as needed. 
Daisy Mo the cat is very friendly, good company and no trouble. And the chickens are, well, chickens, but behaved themselves and were no trouble.
So thank you for an excellent stay, very restful and successful.
