Wonderful couple - I only wish they were here every time I need a sitter

Andris was absolutely fantastic stepping in for us last minute at such short notice. He made an extra effort to make an extra journey to get the keys/ be shown round etc before arriving later in the day, so made the drive to us twice! We got lots of video updates of the cats and were totally relaxed, reassured that our cats were in safe hands. We had a call with Andris before he arrived and we got to meet his own adorable cat over FaceTime who was so affectionate, it was clear his bond with his own cat is special and that he loves cats. We came home to happy cats and a clean home. Thank you so much Andris!

Louise and her daughter looked after our cat and house for a weekend and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! They were very friendly, and clearly won over our notoriously suspicious cat easily! They were very organised, great at communicating and the house was immaculate when we came home. Thank you!

What a great team. Steve Janet and Joe were a joy. As soon as we met them we were sure they would look after precious pets well. We had frequent pics of Lily Ruby and Minnie. The house was spotless on our return. Our bed was stripped and remade. Steve had very kindly collect Damsons for us. Just very kind reliable people, just hope they will sit for us again. Jackie and Nigel stayed at the house for a month through August. They came a day early so we could show them the workings of the house and the garden, particularly the complex irrigation system. A few days without water would result in a lot of damage. As it happened there was a major issue with the irrigation and Nigel, a very practical man, was fantastic in monitoring and directing the gardener on mending the problems. He also watered all the pots and the vegetable garden leaving everything looking great. As summarised in the ratings we thought they were excellent house sitters. Our old cat had died a couple of weeks before they arrived so unfortunately there was not a resident pet to look after but they had the company of a visiting cat which seems to have designs on moving in. They are a delightful couple and we enjoyed a couple of meals with them before we left. Jackie left the house looking very organised and clean and they kindly bought milk and bread for us in addition to a bottle of wine and chocolates. We would happily recommend them to others and will try to entice them to return next year.

Caroline is lovely and actually a family friend of someone I know. We met before she came to stay and our dogs and home were well cared for. Helped us out massively by laundering our bed sheets for us to fall into bed on our return!

Teresa and Mark were just great! They travelled down the day before we left as we were going early and spent time with us and the animals before we set off, so we felt happy very leaving everything in their hands. We had regular updates from Teresa while we were away, and they coped very well with everything, even a storm with gale force winds, and one of the dogs needing to start on new medication while we weren’t there. We returned home to a lovely tidy house, happy animals and a delicious home cooked meal - such a treat! Were already looking forward to seeing Teresa and Mark again in October :)

Fiona was a treasure. Given her extensive experience with large poultry flocks our two hens were hardly a challenge, but she went above and beyond in caring for houseplants and a polytunnel. She also saved part of our fruit crop by voluntarily picking, preparing and freezing gooseberries and blackcurrants. The house was left in immaculate condition too. Assuming she wasn't discouraged by the weather, we'd love to see her again.

Our sit was a complete success. They stayed in contact with us throughout. The girls were super happy and the house was left lovely and clean

Stephen was brilliant turned up with plenty of time for a handover, was super organised about routines and feeding for the dogs and gave them lots of attention. He left the house immaculate and kept in touch with us as we had requested throughout his stay. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you very much.

Elenor and Sarah arrived as discussed. The dogs took a liking to them both instantly. I was left comfortable in the knowledge that they would be taking good care of them. They kept me updated over the few days away, and all was well when I returned home.

Kate and Max were great house sitters. The animals were clearly very happy and well cared for during our week away, in fact I think our dog Mabel was rather sad to see them leave. Kate and Max also respected our home and left it spotless. I would thoroughly recommend them as house sitters
