I don't even know where to start. Alana and Jason were simply amazing during a house sit that, well, could have gone better (on my part!). This was my first time choosing sitters that had to travel from overseas, and I was a bit reluctant at first, but the fact that they had previous experience with greyhounds, plus a very reassuring video call made me decide that they were worth it. And boy was I right! They were great at communicating beforehand and letting me know when they had arrived in NZ and what they were up to on their trip while they made their way towards Wellington. Met them in person the morning I was leaving and I left feeling pretty confident that the girls were in good hands. But then a week into my trip I had a sudden change of plans and had to return home a week early. They were super understanding and flexible and I was happy for them to stay. But then the day after returning I tested positive for covid so that threw another spanner in the works. I offered to isolate in my room so they could stay, and in exchange they took care of the girls and even cooked for me! They honestly were incredibly helpful and super nice to be around. Very quiet, respectful and took great care of the girls, plus they cleaned after themselves and even weeded the garden! Absolute legends in a not so straightforward sit. I would ask them to sit again in a heartbeat!

Rosie and Daisy are so affectionate, love a lap and snuggles at bedtime. Rosie loves having her belly tickled and of course they both love being brushed.

Ian has a beautiful home and is a very friendly and welcoming host, I would highly recommend but not to much as I want to keep them for myself :)

Really looking forward to my next house sit!

We (2 adults & 1 baby) had a fabulous time at Joanna and Kristian's place. Their home feels like a true holiday. The space is gorgeous both indoors and outside. Their pets were also great.

Cats Pecan & Maple mostly did their own thing but let us shower them with cuddles occasionally. They're very low maintenance as we let them out in the morning and back into the house in the evening. If we needed to find them, we just shook the bag of cat treats and they appeared!

Dogs Flo & Freddie are such characters and it was fun to look after them. Flo still has lots of puppy energy and loves to play with her toys outside or to play with Freddie indoors.

Freddie made us laugh a lot as he has no concept of personal space and really loves to sit on top of you on the couch. He's a big sweetheart.

The location of this housesit is very peaceful. We easily drove to Stirling and to Linlithgow rail station for 1/2 day trips into Edinburgh. Would highly recommend to anyone and we hope to be able to come back in future!

This was my first sit and I really enjoyed spending my time at this lovely house, with the gorgeous Oscar! Communication was regular and open from the off-set and when I arrived at the house, I was warmly greeted and looked after by Karen and Malc. They showed me round and explained Oscar's routine, how to work all the appliances and the best places for a walk. This was followed by a lovely evening meal and company.

I fell in love with Oscar! He is such a character and would literally be happy for you to sit there and make a fuss of him all day - with the occasional tug and war, and walk thrown in! He gets VERY excited and vocal when you put on your coat or get out your keys, so if you're planning to go for a walk, advice is to temper him with a treat or get him to sit in the porch. That said, he is fine on the lead and with other dogs, and will walk alongside you.

Beware - you will succumb to the cuteness of him tapping you for attention or holding down your hand with his paws! Would happily return to this sit in the future. X
