This sit was amazing. Communication with Jennifer was easy and clear. She made me feel at home in her beautiful and cozy place. Cats are incredibly calm and friendly, was really nice to take care of them. I would recommend this sit to anyone and would love to sit for them again in the future.

I had a really lovely time with Dana in Mallorca. She’s such a character, entertainingly stubborn at times but if you relax and just go with it, you’ll have a lot of fun together. It was my first time on the island and Wendi and Jeroen were generous and kind hosts. We arranged for me to come a day early to see Palma without a dog in tow, and to get to know Dana’s routine that evening and the next morning. Wendi left really clear printed instructions covering everything about the house and Dana, and it was helpful to have that to refer to during the stay - although we also had easy communication via WhatsApp too. They also offered for me to stay an extra day at the end, so I could do a day trip to Soller which was great. In between, it was very comfortable hanging out at the house. I was lucky with the November weather and so spent quite a bit of time just sat on the terrace in the sunshine. They have a great view across to the church and town centre, and with the sound system and the excellent coffee machine it’s a nice place to relax by the pool or in the shade. They had also kindly left their car so I could explore the island and take Dana on some longer walks - Wendi and Jeroen gave me some good tips of places to visit and it seemed like there were stunning views wherever we went. Sineu is in the centre of the island so a handy location for heading off in different directions. There’s a great greengrocers / deli 5 minutes round the corner for getting food, as well as a small supermarket also in walking distance. If you’re lucky Wendi might leave you some of her delicious home-made granola! At home, in the daytime, Dana likes to be quite close and get some strokes and tummy tickles - she has an amazingly tactile curly coat. She prefers to hold onto her ball but sometimes will deign to give it to you to throw. In the evenings she’s happy to just sleep on the rug or the sofa. At night she slept on her bed or on the rug in my room. All in all, a great sit. I felt like I’d had a relaxing holiday with a cute companion - just what I want from THS! I’d happily go back and would recommend wholeheartedly to others.
Sitting for Marvin was such a joy! He can be timid when you first meet him but is easily won over with treats. He a very affectionate dog who adores pats and cuddles (and it’s very hard to say no to them with his cute eyes!) but also is happy to hang out on his own - as long as you are in eyesight. He’s a very good boy when going for a walk, very polite with other dogs! After a muddy walk he’s also so well behaved when you wash his paws. Fiona was lovely and responsive before the sit and during to all of Marvin’s updates. Their home is stunning and very comfortable. We couldn’t recommend sitting for Marvin enough and miss him so much already!
We absolutely loved pet sitting in Mary's beautiful home! Burma is a sweet cat who will want to sit on your lap and perch on your shoulders if you let her. The dog, Chico, is equally sweet and loveable with his well-mannered and calm temperament. He loved hanging out with us while we worked on our computers or watched Netflix at night. Both pets have access to the enclosed yard via pet doors through the garage which was convenient for them as well as for us! Burma has a self-cleaning litter box which required no work on our part at all. Walking Chico around the quiet, safe, and scenic neighborhood is a breeze. Mary recommended a walking route that took us through the hilly neighborhood with minimal traffic. If you go around sunset, the sky and views of San Francisco and Marin County are absolutely stunning that time of day. The nearby on-leash trails and parks are also lovely to walk with Chico. It is easy to keep him away from other dogs to avoid provocations. He is comfortable with other humans and very friendly in general. Mary's home has gorgeous views of San Francisco both day and night from the living and dining areas as well as from the expansive deck. It is very clean and cozy and has a ton of books. The well-lit rooms have both light-filtering and room-darkening shades which are great for keeping the house cool during the afternoons. The few times the home got hot from the afternoon sun, we greatly appreciated the home's air conditioning. But we didn't need to use it often as the temps were refreshingly cool most of the time. We cooked a lot during our stay but also enjoyed local restaurants and coffee shops. Mary provided detailed instructions regarding pet care and plant watering responsibilities both of which were very easy. She was very responsive the few times we had inquiries. She appreciated our periodic updates every few days. Overall, we very highly recommend this sit!
Brittany was super sweet and she gave us detailed instructions which really helped us with the stay. The apartment is well decorated and cozy. We really enjoyed the stay and made ourselves comfortable there Jameson is the sweetest boy. He is a senior dog but he always gets so excited to play with the ball. He loves to snuggle with us on the bed and we got so attached to him. He followed me around the apartment and waited for me when I was in the restroom. The fact that he just lost his friend makes me treasure him more. Lennon is a sweet girl too. She is so easy to take care of. She loves lying on the bed with Jameson and us. She’s really independent in her own way and doesn’t ask for much attention. It was so nice to stay at Brittany’s. Thank you for letting us hang out with these 2 lovely angels
