Ripponden is a wonderful town, with lots of lovely walking tracks, beautiful countryside and excellent public transport close by. Katie was very prompt and efficient with all communication, plans and information. We were welcomed into their home as if we had known them for years. Tilly & Ted were such a pleasure to care for with lovely personalities and affectionate natures. A really enjoyable house sit and we are very much looking forward to going back later this year.
We loved house-sitting for Sarah and Andre and their fabulous pets. Lab Libby is a very easy going dog who loves a gentle wander around the garden and snuggling on the couch. Cocker Spaniel Bailey (aka The Battery) is always 'on' and we took her on some enormous walks, she's always so happy and enjoys knowing everything that is happening. Both dogs are well behaved and have lovely natures. Cats Bella and Arlo were very friendly and a pleasure to spend time with. The closest we came to seeing the fish in the pond was an occasional ripple. A beautiful warm house in a fabulous country setting with many great walks nearby. We were very happy, and would love to be invited back.
Possibly the best house sit I have done! Laurie's home, the neighborhood, and the dogs are all amazing. These dogs were energetic, always by my side, easy to care for, and brought me laughs everyday. Laurie was very open and easy going and everything went smooth. 10/10 recommend this sit.
