Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and overall, a great sitter. I would definitely recommend him and most certainly hope to have him stay with her again.
Michelle and her sister Tina took excellent care of our (many) pets! We were very worried leaving a 4-month old puppy for a week, but they did an excellent job in continuing her training and keeping to her routines. They were very communicative, sent us lots of photos, and left the house in excellent condition. We would love to have them back again!
We had an incredible week in Winchester, all thanks to Charlotte 😍 She provided clear and detailed information for our stay and was always available to assist with any questions we had. As for Otto, he’s a sweet and independent cat who loves spending time outdoors ☺️ He’s incredibly affectionate and will often seek out cuddles 🥰 One of his most endearing habits is gently rubbing his head against your forehead—it’s absolutely adorable! ❤️ Winchester itself is a city rich in history, with so much to explore and discover ❤️ Finally, Charlotte’s house is not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. The garden is a lovely space to relax and enjoy the sunshine 😍 We will miss Otto so so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Everything you could ask for in a house sit! Lucy and Sadie were an absolute pleasure to look after. Lucy is very independent and can even open and close the back door when she’s ready to come inside. We enjoyed walking her round the trails on the property and chasing her round the garden. She’s has a loving personality and takes pride in guarding the grounds and making you feel safe. Sadie is a love bug and once she’s comfortable with you demands lap time and lots of brushing and belly rubs which we were happy to indulge. Pat and Jim were very good at communicating, both before and during the sit. Their home is beautiful and really is a sanctuary submerged in the wilderness. We’d sit for them again in a heartbeat.
This was our first sit with THS and it was a great experience. We met with Melanie, Nick and Sadie a couple of days before the sit and they gave us lots of information about Sadie and their home. They have a very useful welcome pack which includes places to eat and visit. Sadie is an absolute joy. She is friendly, affectionate and - unless she's outside exploring - she is by your side. She's a happy, content cat and great company. She loves to have her head, chin and back rubbed but not her tummy. Melanie and Nick are a lovely couple and have a very comfortable home located in a peaceful rural location. They ensured we had everything we might need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our time with Sadie, hopefully we'll meet again.
Sigh... it was tough to leave this dogsit! Couldn't get enough of the lovely older pup Laci (she's still got spice though, at 10.5!) and the lovable wild child Theo (he 'leans' and hugs- just pure love) Enjoyed R and D's peaceful, beautiful home and although it rained for much of our stay, we made it count and had some muddy adventures. The dogs love to be out in the trees, chasing after sticks and running back to give slobbery kisses. Location is A+ and the neighborhood was lovely for quiet night walks with Laci and Theo. Far enough from downtown that we even saw clear constellations one night. Can't say enough good things about the sweet hosts- always in communication/flexible/good-natured. I'd be happy to sit for them again in a heartbeat!
This was a fantastic experience, whereas Tiago and Canela are simply the sweetest dogs, they are full of character and such a joy to be around. Barbara is a very kind and welcoming person and such a great host. We met at the airport and then she guided me through the dogs daily routine, while we also got to know each other. Their home in Lisbon is very beautiful, comfortable and inviting. Situated in a great location to walk the dogs along the river, or to get lost in the streets of the Alfama district that is behind their home. The dogs love to wander the streets with you and they have such calm and loving personalities. A huge thank you to Barbara and Doug for being such amazing and welcoming hosts. I can only say the best things and would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to look after two great dogs, while exploring the beautiful city of Lisbon.
Mandy received us very warmly, including a wonderful homemade meal! Benny was definitely one of the calmest pets we've ever taken care of. He is a very affectionate, docile dog and loves his walks. Liphook is a very pleasant town, which made our great trips with Benny much easier. And Mena, what about her? She conquered our hearts, with all her love and affection. Benny and Mena are so lovely and we miss them!
