Selena and Josh are the ideal house/pet sitters. They were great at communicating to us their travel plans before the sit and during the sit texted us updates via text (including pictures) of how our cats were doing. After getting acquainted the cats loved Selena and Josh who offered them a warm lap or a tummy rub, as well as letting them sleep with them. They left the house spotless even picking me up at the airport the day I returned and cooking me a delicious dinner. Selena and Josh are the best and would be a great choice to watch your house and pets!!
I can quite honestly say that 5 stars is not enough to quantify how amazing Heidi was. She did all the tasks of pet and house care we discussed, and then went WAY above with her level of communication and loving care for our pet and home. She left us a beautiful handwritten note and a little treat to welcome us back!! Truly, we were speechless. She’s the BEST!
I would 100% recommend Lori for your next vacation pet/home sit need! I was gone for 11 days recently. Lori was great at communicating, both prior to the sit dates, during my absence, and follow-up after my return. She sent my daily updates and pictures of my boys, which really left me with a peace of mind that they were well taken care of when I was 1000 miles away. The boys were happy and healthy upon my return, and it was evident Lori took really good care of them. Also, my apartment was clean when she arrived, but I think it may have been even cleaner when I came back home! She even left me a little gift of refreshing, homemade rose water to enjoy when I returned home. I would absolutely recommend Lori for your next need, and would invite her back to sit for my home and boys again.
We had a really great week looking after the gorgeous Nala at Lindsay and Rodney’s lovely house. Right from the start, communication was great and Lindsay invited us to visit so we could be shown around the house and meet Nala. We felt instantly welcomed and knew we’d have a great week. On arrival, we found a lovely card and bottle of Prosecco waiting for us which was very much appreciated. The house is really comfortable with everything you need and has the most beautiful garden full of colourful flowers and plants. We had a couple of sunny days and sat out with Nala in the garden, she really is adorable and purrs constantly! At night she’d jump up onto the sofa with us and by day she loved eating and then napping in the shed. Our bedroom was really comfortable and peaceful. We met a few of the neighbours and all were very friendly. Steyning is such a pretty village with a couple of food shops, interiors shops, a book store and lots of gift shops plus more. We visited all 3 pubs and all were friendly. It’s a short 5 min walk to the villiage from the house. Thank you Lindsay, Rodney and Nala for a really great sit. We’d recommend this sit to anyone lucky enough to be invited to spend time with adorable Nala - she’s a wonderful companion!
