Unfortunately, our old dogs had passed away by the time Christian came to look after them. So Christian house sat for us while we were away for 5 weeks. (NB: the review programme did not allow me to skip the pet care question, so the 5 stars is for his help with the neighbour’s pet.) Christian used his initiative to find ways to be helpful as the dogs were not here. He power-washed the patio and the outdoor furniture, oversaw people we had coming to do work around the property, helped the neighbours pick apples for cider, and generally looked after the property for us. He was well-organised, resourceful in dealing with issues that cropped up, and very useful around the house and property. He kept in touch throughout the stay and was a charming and friendly person to deal with.
This is the second time that Dalton and Libby have housesat for us, and they once again did an excellent job. They left the house in great shape and it was clear that they enjoyed hanging out with our animals. Highly recommend!
Claire and Jide sat for us and our kitty Kumulus for three weeks and were fantastic sitters! They were already in town before the sit so we were able to coordinate exchanging keys a couple days early, which worked great for us as we had to leave early on our day of departure. They provided us with regular updates about Kumulus and were willing to do some other odd jobs which was a huge help. They had to leave a day before the sit ended, and went above and beyond by arranging for someone else to come the final day to check in on Kumulus and feed him. They left the place very neat and tidy including laundering the bedding and towels. We would love to have them sit for us again and would definitely recommend them!
Our house sit for Shane and Mehgan was great! Rosie is just the loveliest, easy going pup and we felt at home right away! We arrived at their house in the early afternoon and due to their flight being delayed we even got to meet them and hang out a little bit before they left- which was really nice! they’re just the sweetest people! Thanks again for trusting us! :)
