A most enjoyable continuation of my pet sitting adventure. I met Mabel, Frieda and Saffy and their owners, Mary and Pete, a couple of times before the sit. During the first visit we had a really nice chat over a cup of tea and we walked the dogs and I felt very much welcomed. I returned with my mum and her dog a couple of weeks later and we had a lovely local walk together. All the dogs got on really well. Mabel, Frieda and Saffy were very well behaved throughout the sit and were no trouble at all. Mabel and Frieda are very friendly dogs and we all loved our adventures over the dunes and on the beach. They loved to have a run around and play. Saffy sleeps for most of the time, but you know when she’s awake as she has a loud meow, just to make sure you know that it’s her feeding time 😊 Mary and Pete’s house has lots of character and is lovely and comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful and in a lovely location. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend sitting for Mabel, Frieda and Saffy and I’m looking forward to my return.

I have two 14 year old little tiny dogs and a 11 month lab, I have been going to Bark City since April of this year, my older dogs have never been boarded or to daycare and they can't wait to go! My lab comes home tired which makes for a great night for me after a long day of work. My dogs kiss them when we arrive proving they feel loved. I am blessed to have Bark City staff in my life. They are truly amazing and an extension of family to my fur babies.
Bark City always takes good care of our dogs. We have a Siberian Husky and a Lab mix who are always excited to go there. They come back pretty tired from all the activity but are always happy to come home. Trusting someone to care for our family pets is important and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Great organization I can't speak highly enough about.

I originally took my puppy to Bark City daycare because he wasn’t able to be home alone all day while I was working. I planned to only do it for a few months, and then have him home during the day once he was a little older. After taking him twice a week for two months, I can’t imagine not bringing him. He slides on the floor every morning trying to run as fast as he can to the back. He loves it, and it tired when he gets home! Nothing but great things to say about Bark City, highly recommend!

Love Bark City! They post daily pictures of the dogs in action, which is very heart warming when you’re away from your furry friend. Always professional staff and the facility clean. They even give your dog a bath if s/he has stayed there x days. They also test the dogs before they can play directly with the bigger group to make sure they are friendly.
Fantastic service provided for our newly adopted dog. We had never used a groomer or boarding service but we already know we won’t be going anywhere else. They were so nice and made us and our dog feel comfortable and happy. You could tell he felt much better afterward too!
We starting using Bark City back in March and we love it! The staff is always friendly and had our pups name memorized on his first day! They post Facebook photos of all of the dogs playing everyday which is awesome to see when I’m at work! I recommend this place, the staff is awesome, the facility is clean, and my dog is always literally running in the door with excitement.
Absolutely love this place for my pups and they love going! Very kind and accommodating. Highly recommended getting your pups bathed too! They always come home smelling wonderful!
When Cottonwood Vet closed down their boarding facility, I needed to scramble to find another boarding facility. I chose Animal House because they had good reviews and similar cheaper rate. So far the transition to this facility has gone smooth. They are very flexible with their scheduling and make drop off and pick up very convenient with text communication and will accommodate you if something comes up. Although my dog does not like going to any boarding facility because of separation anxiety, he never comes back injured or scared. Highly recommend their service!
I can't express how pleased I am with Animal House Bozeman! My dog Freddy stayed here in January over MLK weekend when a cold snap brought temperatures in Montana into the negative 30's-50's depending on where you were. I was worried sick about leaving my pup that weekend but I had important travel plans that couldn't be delayed. They took excellent care of him despite the wild weather conditions. It's everything you want from a boarding facility. He'll be staying there again this summer and I'm thrilled to have a place that I can't trust will take care of my boy.
We've had Jake and Dayna take care of our dogs for over 10 years. They are amazing people and my dogs have always been excited to go to the Animal House!
Our Great Pyrenees stayed with them for a week. He got to play with the other pups during his stay and came back happy. We also really appreciated that she understands his breed. Highly recommend!

Animal House has been amazing for my dog, May. I can always tell she's spent a lot of energy playing with other dogs there and Dana always gives me a report with specific details about dogs May has befriend. It's my first choice for a boarding facility whether I'm going out of town for the night or a week, not to mention it's so much more reasonably priced than any other kennel I've found in Bozeman.
We have been taking our Springer here since we've gotten her and the owners always remember her and know her personality. I can tell she taken care of here and in safe hands!

Our dog has stayed there several times and loved it, but in one incidence our dog stomach flipped and started to get distended, she would have died while we were away had it not been for her and are forever grateful that she caught it in time!
Jessica is the best groomer in Bozeman i have found so far! I take my Yorkies to her and each time she asks how I’d like them to be cut and they come out exactly as asked! I can tell she genuinely loves animals and my Yorkies are always comfortable being there 😊 …

I am so thankful to have found Jessica. I have a 14 year old Shih Tzu that needs extra TLC. Grooming days are often stressful for both he and I, but I know I don't have to worry anymore. Jessica does a phenomenal job! I brought my one year old cocker spaniel to her that had previously been turned away by others in the valley and she has worked patiently with him to get him accustomed to being groomed. I wanted to share our experience with CC and her doggie motel. Our 6 year old Golden Retriever has had fabulous in-their-home dog sitters any time we traveled in the past. We brought her with us to Big Sky for the summer, and had several planned trips. I researched boarding her in dog sitters' homes, and didn't find anyone that fit our needs. I was hesitant to board her at a facility, instead of a home. After reading about CC McNeil, her background and education emphasizing animal behavior, and passion for dogs, I contacted her about boarding our pup. Josie's first stay was three weeks! CC's communication is professional and courteous. I feel comfortable texting her asking about Josie, and she'll respond, often with a photo or video of Josie in action! The attached photo is of Josie after picking her up from that long stay. We feel fortunate to have found a reliable, well-run "home away from home" for our girl near Big Sky!
We had a family road trip planned from Washington State to Montana with a two day stay in Yellowstone. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that Yellowstone was not very dog friendly until we were on the way. We frantically searched for dog boarding near the park and with some incredible stroke of luck found CC’s dog boarding. I was able to book our pup’s 2 night stay within hours. CC was very responsive and friendly. Our drop off/pick up times changed a bit due to traffic and travel times, but she was so flexible. We of course won’t be using this dog boarding regularly since we live in Washington, but for anyone looking for dog boarding in or near Bozeman, MT we would absolutely recommend CC!
I have had good experiences in the past, but my most recent experience was very negative, and I will not use this boarding place in the future. The owner's customer interactions were very poor and unmerited. She made me feel I had done something terribly wrong and I honestly try to never offend or hurt anyone. I just wanted to clarify, so I simply asked questions, and she was very offended. I've referred my friends to this business, and they've had similar poor experiences with the owner.
CC, the owner of Doggie Daycare & Motel, was a delight to work with! My dog was anxious about being in boarding for 10 days, but CC gave her lots of extra time and attention to make sure she was as comfortable and relaxed as possible. CC was a great communicator. She sent updates whenever I asked or if she needed something, but I still felt completely free to enjoy my vacation. Prices were excellent, and the 24/7 pick up/drop off is a fantastic feature. I highly recommend this place and will certainly use it again in the future!
We have been bringing our furbabies here for over 14 years. They are always loved and cared for just like they would be at home. We are very grateful for CC and her staff and highly recommend them.
CC was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was a huge help accommodating a very short notice request. She took great care of both dogs and allowed me to have a wonderful day skiing. This place is the best! I boarded my cat for the first time at Doggie Daycare and was very impressed by the level of care, interaction, and attention each kitty gets. The facilities are clean, spacious, and lots of fun for kitties. When I went to pick my cat up, she even showed me her cat tree. :) My cat has very bad separation anxiety, so this was a really positive experience for us! Would highly recommend! The owner and her daughter are true animal lovers, great communication, and very caring. Also flexible with pick up/drop off times.
CC took great care of our dog while we were on vacation. She was very easy to communicate with and sent photos of all the fun the dogs were having. The facility is clean and calm. The check-in/out process is a breeze. We are so happy to have found a great place to take our girl to when we can’t be home with her.
CC is the bomb and I'd trust her with my fur babies any time! We had never boarded our kitten (or any animal) before and I couldn't be happier with our decision to go with CC! She took such great care of our girl and kept us updated frequently with pictures. The cat condos are spacious and very well maintained and I will 100% board here again.
We've been bringing our pug to Doggie Daycare & Motel during vacations for 3 years and are very pleased with their service. I love that you can tailor your animal's experience during their stay, and the drop off and pick-up are so quiet, calm, and easy. Our pug recognizes the motel as soon as we get there. She gets excited and a little nervous, but never cowers like she doesn't want to go. Different story when we visit the vet!!
Know Thy Dog has taken care of our dog since she was a little puppy, both for daycare and overnight boarding. The staff are exceptional and share mutual affection with our dog, who always loves to see them. The team is very detail-oriented and engaged with each dog, making sure each pup’s experience is best-suited to their temperment and play style. We give the very highest recommendation to Know Thy Dog!
Know Thy Dog is an amazingly well organized Day and Boarding Kennel. My dog Bell stayed for a week. They take special care with the time of play and rest, groups and their interactions. The dogs are Always supervised. The outside play area is immaculate and when it is to hot out side there are large clean air-conditioned indoor areas. When they see anything out of the normal about your pet, they will immediately notify you. No hiding anything. I am so happy to have found them, for my Peace of mind. Yes, I am a neurotic pet owner...With KTD I feel very, very comfortable. Best choice and an added bonus, reasonably priced.
We take our pets to KNOW THY DOG on a very regular basis. I can’t say enough great things about the company, the accommodations, the staff and how they take care of your pets like they’re their own. Great people with lots of love for your animals just like you have. Can’t say enough great things about them.
My border collie mix, Ellie, has benefited so much from Know Thy Dog! She has been training with Max since she was 3 months old, and has also gone to daycare and done the 5 day board and train program. After doing the 5 day board and train with them, she came home so confident, happy, and exhausted! Max is so great at helping you really understand your dogs behavior so that you can more efficiently correct problems. With his help, I feel like I can communicate with Ellie in a way that makes sense to her. I really appreciate that no one on staff ever pressures you into signing up for more training than you need, and encourage and enable you to continue working with your dog by yourself. I can't recommend them highly enough!
We lived in Bozeman from 2019-2022 and our dogs adored Know Thy Dog. They helped my lab mix Zoe get her energy out and were really responsible with the activity for my pomsky Pippin who has bad back legs. We rescued Pippin in Bozeman and they really helped him come out of his shell and become the loveable goofball he is today. I always felt comfortable leaving them there because I knew they were loved and happy. We miss Know Thy Dog immensely and can't recommend them enough! If I'm ever back in the area I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Kelly and staff deserve more than 5 stars! Hank (and Brutus, his bf, bottom right) has been going there since he was a puppy and there is no place I would rather drop him off for daycare or for an overnight. Hank was a part of their overnight boarding "on leash training". It was suggested by Kelly as he was going to be there for a week anyways and it was the best decision I've ever made for him... Thanks Max! HIGHLY recommended!
We boarded my dog ( for the first time ever ) here over the weekend while we were getting married. They were responsive and communicated with us and helped alleviate our anxieties of leaving him. I got a message on my wedding day congratulating us on our day and a photo of him in a little tuxedo tie. The personal touches and care for my dog was incredible and I cannot recommend this place enough. And it was extremely affordable. While visiting from out of state our dog stayed there over night on the 4th of july, they were very excited to have her and she seemed to have a good time. Love that they post pictures and videos of the dogs having fun. We will definatley take our dog there again when we go back to Montana.
If I could, I would post a video of my dog Harper's tail wagging at full speed when she realizes she's being dropped off for daycare at Know Thy Dog, because that says it all. The staff members are so kind and clearly genuinely care about each pup that is in their care. Clean facilities and clear communication. Highly recommend!
Dawn has been walking our puppy for 9 months now and she might well be his favorite human. We’ve had Dawn check in on him during the day and house sit for a long weekend, and in every case she’s been fantastic. Not only does our dog love spending time with her, her communication and reliability has always been spot on. She’s the best in the business!
My dogs love Dawn! They get so excited when she comes to get them because they know there is fun and adventure in their future. We are the lucky owners of Smokey the wonder Aussie who is very sweet but also has A LOT of energy... Dawn took it as her personal challenge to wear him out and has succeeded! He absolutely loves her and the adventures she takes him on. Dawn is hands down the best pet/house sitter we have ever had. We also have a 14 year old yellow lab and Dawn is just as caring with Pink on his slow ambles around the block as she is when skinning you’re Bridger with Smokey. Even our finicky kitten loves her! I can’t recommend Adventure Pawtners highly enough, whether your pup needs some tiring out during the week or you’re out of town and need someone to watch over your crew while you’re away Dawn and Mackenzie are our go to gals!

Boarding is reasonably priced with lots of extras you can add! We are from out of town and wanted to do more activities without having to manage our dog too. On Memorial Day, my family and I needed to leave town on extremely short notice due to a family medical emergency. Our regular kennel was booked, but through a connection with our nurse at the hospital, we were able to get our dog into Montana Murray Kennels within the hour. They were so extremely accommodating during a very stressful time. I couldn't believe how helpful the entire team was from the moment we dropped our dog off, their flexibility with our uncertain plans (our dog ended up staying 3+ weeks), and the clear love and care they showed our dog. The icing on the cake - when we were finally able to return home and pick up our dog, the owner gave us a totally unexpected (but very much appreciated) discount on our stay. Ron is absolutely incredible. My German Shepherd was attacked a few years ago and was terrified of other dogs. I brought him to Ron and after training and within a few pack walks kaiser was feeling confident and calm around other dogs. He has also helped me with my puppy Major. I trust Ron with my dogs over anyone else. I’ll never have anyone else train my dogs. Thanks Montana Murray kennels for helping me with my pups!

Montana Murray kennels helped turn our COVID puppy from a timid, scared boy to a great obedient dog with confidence. They have been great for boarding both our dogs.
This is the place to go for any dog training, especially behavior issues. Ron taught me how to properly handle my dog. Before working with Ron, I didn’t feel comfortable letting my dog interact with other dogs. But now we are able to go out to public places and trails. I now have the confidence and skills to properly handle my dog, and my dog trusts and responds to me. I tried other trainers before Montana Murray Kennels, but this was the only one that could help me. 100% recommend.

Fun people, good training and safety for all. Pack walks are held 4 days a week, with whoever wants to show up. Could be anything from 10 to 50 dogs. Wonderful way to socialize your dog. You will need to talk to Ron Murray because he needs to judge whether your dog is ready for an intermediate or needs a beginner's type of training.
I realize so many have had terrific experiences with MT Murray Kennels and their training style, but multiple good experiences cannot negate one or some very real and negative experiences. I and my golden retriever puppy are one of those experiences. I tried to work through my concerns with the owner who ultimately only bullied me and would not hear my genuine concerns. I asked for a refund due to these concerns and would not be heard. I no longer hope for financial recompensation, but want to warn other dog owners like me of the potential hazards associated with registering and paying for obedience training with this organization. My first class involved pressure to succumb to the use of a prong collar on my 4 month old golden retriever puppy. Because of this, he had his first experience with pain and trust issues then with me ultimately. Additionally, we were in a large class of at least 12 dogs with at least half of them being of an adult age and highly reactive in nature. When I phoned the owner to discuss my concerns, I was encouraged to come back and trust the process. I initially felt respected during this conversation and decided to try another class. When I returned the following week, within 10 minutes of the class starting, a puppy and its owner arrived late and walked into the room when one of the adult reactive dogs decided to bite and injure the puppy. The puppy howled terribly for an extended period of time and the bite was severe enough to draw blood. It was at this point that I walked out of the class. When I spoke with the owner the next day about this incident and the fact that I did not feel that my puppy was in a safe environment, he would not listen. He relied heavily on his reputation and all of the good success stories he has had before this incident, leaving no room for discussion about what was in my puppy or my best interest. His approach was that he knew it all and that I was the problem. I don’t deny that many dog owners are pleased with MT Murray Kennels. What I do object to is that this organization and its owner believe in a one size fits all approach to dog training and a past reputation to address its present issues. My best hope in writing this review is to encourage dog owners to be free thinkers and to advocate for your puppies and dogs. Don’t let anyone tell you that they know what is best for your dog. Listen to your gut and use common sense! I wish I had done so from the get go!
Summit is by far the best place I've taken my dogs. I've tried most places in the Bozeman and Belgrade area and Summit stands above them all. You can tell their team takes pride in what they do and really take good care of the dogs. The dogs get far more supervision compared to most larger boarding facilities as well as more room/time to run around outside. Needless to say, my dogs absolutely love this place and I can trust they are in good caring hands.
Summit is the absolute BEST daycare/boarding in the area!! I feel so blessed to have found them. They are incredibly attentive, understanding, and very sweet owners. Bandit used to start shaking and dread going to his other daycare in Bozeman so I knew I had to try somewhere else. Then I found Summit!! Bandit was sooo excited to go every day and came home exhausted. I wish I wasn't moving out of state because I know I won't find another facility like them! If you're doggy daycare shopping, this is the one. Thank you guys for taking wonderful care of Bandit <3

I wanted to write this review for any folks that also have nervous and shy pups as we do. You can take my review with a grain of salt considering our pup was only here for a couple of hours and I don’t really know how to properly rate them however I also don’t think that it would’ve been fair to give Summit a bad review seeing as I don’t think they are fully to blame for our dog not making it through her trial and most of my experience with them was positive even though we were denied. They also have tons of great reviews (which is why we tried it out) so I’m sure it’s a great place to leave your dog. I can only speak towards my experience and ultimately we really wanted it work out. The facility has a massive field for dogs to run around in and play which unfortunately happened to be a negative in our case. A bit of background, we got our pup at 4 months old and sadly she wasn’t properly socialized with strangers and despite our best efforts to get her socialized she remains timid around unfamiliar people unless she is around them consistently. I informed Summit of this and to my dismay was given a call just two hours after I dropped her off telling me to come pick her up because they weren’t able to grab her in the fenced in area. So my suggestion, and their recommendation to me is to find a place with a smaller play area. We have actually taken her to Know Thy Dog and Bark City previously and she has been accepted to both. We love our dog dearly and have given her every opportunity to become a more confident dog with things like training, taking her to work most days, and occasionally enrolling her in daycare. Unfortunately, she is just a timid dog and Summit wasn’t able to accommodate her which is totally understandable and I don’t fault them for it. It just wasn’t a good match and we are disappointed because honestly from the very little interaction we had with staff I felt they were very nice, the sign up was easy, and they were available for daycare and boarding when others were full, so if you have a very friendly dog this is probably a great fit for you, we certainly wish our dog was able to stay here and get all that running room. But for those who have shy dogs like ours maybe try a smaller place. My only negative thing I have to say about Summit is when I asked for a bit of refund for the day, since she was only there for 2 hours, they told me she received plenty of one on one time, almost an hour and a half worth, and should be very tired and then followed that by saying they don’t do refunds on trial days. If they had just told me they don’t do refunds on trial days and that’s their policy I wouldn’t have minded and totally understood, but to tell me the reason I’m not getting a refund is because she got a bunch of one on one time right after you just called me to pick her up because she wouldn’t come near you doesn’t really add up to me. If you can’t get near her I wouldn’t consider that one on one time, I would say that’s alone time. Just tell me you don’t do that and that’s all you have to say. That’s super nit picky though and would be my only constructive criticism for the team there (didn’t really expect to be refunded anyways just thought I’d ask). Anyways, give these guys a shot, it seems like a great place, but don’t be surprised if you get denied having a shy pup.
The best dog care option in the valley, in my opinion. They post photos of your dog on social media, which is a fun way to check in and see how he is doing. We've never had a bad experience at Summit, and they've been flexible and understanding (even despite the fact that our dog is currently a 9 month old 60lb Australian Shepherd who still in full blown puppy mode).
I have utilized this facility a few times in the last year and a half, and I have always been impressed. Recently, my pets stayed for about a week. Roughly 40 minutes before picking up my dogs, I got a phone call about my pet being in distress with no obvious external wounds. When I got there, I was able to identify an external puncture wound upon inspection, which required advanced wound care, and internal and external stitches. I understand pets get hurt, but the condition in which I found her was not an acute onset of symptoms. The wound was older and needed immediate medical attention. Additionally, Summit did not handle it well and denied any explanation as to why my pet was hurt. They acted cold and unapologetic. They offered no assistance and did not even call the check on her condition after visiting the emergency room. Due to their overall assessment and reaction to my pet being hurt, and the nature of the situation, I no longer trust any of my pets in their care and cannot continue to recommend them.
When leaving for the holidays, It is always a trick to make sure your pets are in good hands. You want your pets to feel and be safe, fed properly as well as get to run around. Summit Pet Resort does not just meet these expectations, but exceeds them in every way. Olivia and Jeffrey are exceptional people who I have complete faith in. Thank you both for taking care of Grit! I am so thankful to have a place for my pup that I can depend on when I am unable to be here!
Jeff and Olivia took in my high maintenance pup while I was visiting family over the holidays. These two took very good care of my dog! Thanks for keeping him healthy, safe, and entertained. I really appreciated their transparent approach to boarding while maintaining boundaries to help keep the dogs safe. They were very comfortable giving him his medication and made sure to include him on their regularly updated social media. There was a trail day before he could be boarded where Jeff and their head trainer Max answered any questions I had. Thanks again!
I have taken my dog other places and been totally happy, but I recently brought him to Summit Pet Resort and I love it! He cries the whole way there because he’s so excited, and sleeps the whole way home. I love that he has 2 acres to run around, and that they post lots of pictures of him throughout the day. They are so friendly and attentive. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my dog in someone else’s care!
Great day care / boarding spot, our pup has so much fun there and you can tell they treat the dogs well. They also send some fun update photos that have wound up being some of the best photos we have of our loving playful little guy. Can’t say enough good things about them!
If you are looking for either boarding or daycare, SEND THEM HERE!!! I don’t know if I’ve ever been more impressed!!! Our babies spent two weeks at DDB and they came home looking AMAZING! They came out as if they’d been at a slumber party with their friends. Every staff member is absolutely lovely - Renee is so wonderful and attentive to your babies needs. You can feel the staff’s warmth and care the moment you walk in. We will be coming back again and again for daycare and boarding!
We cant give Dog Days any higher praise than seeing our Miss Kitty ! The love and professionalism Dog Days have shown with their staff is incredible ! Being so worried having to board her somewhere while we took our vacation was hard to do . Reneé and the team always love having my dog, Dude, in for overnights or daycare. He loves it there and they always send pics throughout the stay to give you an update of how your pet is doing. Emily has been cutting Dude's hair for years now and always does a fantastic job! He is a goldedoodle and has difficult hair. Would highly recommend for boarding/daycare/grooming 5.5 out of 5 stars!
Dog Dayz is an amazing pet daycare and boarding facility. Conveniently located off 90 at the Bear Canyon exit, the owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable They are also great with communication while my dogs are there, texting updates and pics each day! I appreciate the individual care they give to my pups!!
We absolutely LOVE Dog Dayz. We’ve been sending our yellow lab Daffy to them for daycare and boarding for the last few months and I’ve never seen him so excited to do anything. As soon as we turn down the street towards daycare he starts howling and trying to climb out the window to get there faster. And when we walk in he practically drags me through the front door. It’s so nice to know he’s happy, safe, and with people who truly love what they do.
We love Dog Dayz and so do our pups, Mav and Van! We have mostly worked with Renee and she has such a kind and caring demeanor. The boys are excited to go and are well cared for. We got update text and pictures during their boarding stay. Recommend 100%! (Photos are from a recent stay at Dog Dayz)
I have to shout out Dog Dayz Bozeman!! After a not so great boarding experience at a different facility in the area, we weren’t sure that we’d ever find another place we trusted enough to take them to, or that they’d enjoy. I heard about Dog Dayz from a friend who I trust with my life and knew they’d never recommend a place they didn’t have confidence and trust in. We’ve taken our two girls there twice now. The first time we took them to Dog Dayz, they were understandably nervous as they had a horrible experience the previous time. They were apprehensive and reluctant. The second time we took them, it was a night and day difference in their demeanor! They were excited and eager to play and see their dog friends! Arguably, the best part of the girls’ stay at Dog Dayz is getting the daily photos of their activities! It so reassuring to see their happy faces playing, lounging, and getting all the pets! (Please enjoy some that we’ve gotten) For everyone in the Bozeman area, we cannot recommend Dog Dayz enough!!
Dog Dayz has become my place for all things puppy related. My dog comes home tired and gets really excited when we arrive. Emily does an amazing job grooming! She was very patient with him but also got it done quickly! I love dog Dayz!!! They also send pictures of my pup having fun through out the day. Also prices are so reasonable!!!
Best dog boarding I have ever taken our doodle to (and coming from the Midwest it says a lot)! They sent photos and communication each day of him playing with other pups and loving the outdoors, letting us know that he was constantly in good hands! I can’t recommend YPB enough!! I have taken my two Aussies to them a couple times this year and was amazed at how wonderful all of the staff is. I am always SO nervous to board them because my female Aussie can be aggressive with new people (especially men). Tyler has a special touch with animals and they are now best buds which made me feel so comfortable leaving them for 10 days over Christmas. They always send the cutest pictures and keep me updated.
YPB was the perfect place! Erica is kind and transparent and her team is loving and friendly. Boarding at YBP gave us peace of mind while travelling and we will definitely use them again. The photo updates were great and the facilities are nice and clean! Thanks YPB!
We boarded our dogs overnight when we went to Yellowstone. My dogs have never been boarded anywhere. Carran and Tyler made me feel very comfortable about leaving them. They came back happy and well cared for. Highly recommend YPB!
AMAZING!!! We were out in Livingston for a Yellowstone trip and had brought along our 13 lb terrier. We were worried about boarding him someplace unfamiliar as he tends to get snarly with strangers. HOWEVER, our experience was unbelievable and Erica was the best! The facility is super clean, tons of indoor and outdoor space. Erica also provided us a tour and let us stay there for a bit while Gerby got acclimated. She definitely made us feel at ease and provided lots of updates and photos. We would highly recommend Yellowstone Pet Boarding if you're ever in need! we're really glad that we were able to take the little guy with us and Erica made it all possible!
We boarded our dogs for 5 nights while we explored Yellowstone Natl. Park. The staff was friendly and professional, the kennel was clean and spacious. From what we could tell our dogs enjoyed their stay, we even got a few pictures Highly recommend!

We boarded our dog here while we explored Yellowstone park due to dog limitations. I’m glad we did as he had a blast!! The staff are all so friendly , showed us pictures of our dog too. Their booking process was easy, everything gets done before you arrive. I Would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Can’t say enough good things! I consider myself a pretty crazy dog mom and was nervous about leaving my boy, but I am so happy I did. The intake was thorough and the people were so kind and warm. When I picked up my dog he was obviously well taken care of. Would certainly recommend and use again in the future!
Decided to board the dogs while in Yellowstone since there are so many limitations in the park. Yellowstone Pet Boarding was friendly, accommodating, communicative, spacious, and very clean. I told them I forgot to bring my dog's favorite blanket, so I got a picture of him wrapped in a beach towel and he was in heaven. I highly recommend this facility!
We boarded our two dogs for 2 nights at Yellowstone Pet Boarding so we could enjoy Yellowstone National Park at leisure. The kennel is located about 45 minutes from the NORTH entrance to the park (Gardiner). The facilities are brand new and YPB offers a variety of options from day boarding to overnight stays. There is a large outdoor play area with shaded space and small pools (during the summer months). There is also a smaller indoor play space, but still plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Clients can choose from standard kennels (in the middle of the facility), to kennels with outdoor runs and some very special cedar suites that are like separate rooms (for dogs who may be distracted by seeing and hearing other dogs 24/7 this is a nice alternative as the walls block the sight (if not sound) of the other "guests." Pictures on the website are accurate. The owner Erica was very responsive to questions and special requests. She also sent us pictures of our dogs at play. Our dogs appeared to have a great time
We love Tail Waggin’ Ranch and have been with them for over 8 years. They are fantastic and always take great care of our “beloved” little dogs and our dear big dog “ Roots”. Last weekend, they showed our dogs a wonderful time and have always gone the extra mile in care and love. Can’t wait to see Tammy and Wade again. We will be with them for many more years. Please DO NOT bring your dogs here. I dropped off my roommates dogs here on his behalf and one of them was traumatized and still is hiding, scared of dogs 1000x after being super comfortable with them, hides in the house. And the other dog got giardia (or however it’s spelled) and did no.2 in the house several times over upon picking him up. The owners are nice people but are completely in over their head. They also sprayed me with kennel cough vaccine after administering it to the dogs and said it happens all the time to me. Would never recommend even to an enemy
Absolutely loved my experience here at Tail waggin’ ranch. The owner was super nice along with his wife. So flexible and down to earth. Boone and Moose stood there for 5 days. I love knowing they were running around and playing with other dogs and not in a cage for long parts of the day. They shortly fell fast asleep in the car ride home, lots of play time for sure. Will definitely bring them back next time I’m out of town!
Our dog was attacked by another dog and we didn't even receive a phone call or text (see pictures). We also picked him up and he was consideredly less weight. We've used them in the past and for one or two nights, this might be a reasonable pet care solution, I would definitely not use them for anything past that.
We have been using the Wagging Trail Ranch now for almost 7 years. I go away for business fairly often. Our dog is geriatric 11, and they are so wonderful with her. Our dog has always had a positive experience and visually displays her excitement when we drop her there. The best part is that the owners do not put dogs in kennels. They are sorted according to age and like dispositions in fenced areas. The owners really love dogs, and you can tell by the way the regulars respond when going there. The dogs have plenty of water and shelter.
My best friend Dever absolutely loves Tail Waggin ranch! He literally gets so happy driving to his second home! Such wonderful folks who run this place! Tammy and wade love and care for all dogs. This valley is so blessed to have this ranch! All dogs are placed together in their proper energy levels. Dever has been coming for over a year and we both love it!! Keep up the excellent work!
I cannot say this enough DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!! TWO of my friends dogs have had their ears ripped completely off and neither got notified by this place. If you want to keep your dog safe, do not board them here.
Super nice place to leave your furry kids. The people here are top notch. They have a beautiful property and lots of room for fun.
I would warn everyone against this place, I know multiple people that have boarded their dogs here on separate occasions and have had their dogs attacked. Tail wagging ranch did not notify the owners and would not let one of the family members come pick up one of the injured dogs. This place needs to be shut down. DO NOT BOARD YOUR SWEET DOGS HERE!!!
