L'Teisha was wonderful. Very communicative and caring. Her passion for pets is clear and she was very proactive in making sure our dog and house were both in pristine condition for our return.

We were in the Hythe area so were able to meet with Sarah and Claude prior to the agreed dates, certainly made it easier on the day knowing where we were going and having met Moose and Cassie.
Sarah had prepared a comprehensive welcome guide and explained everything so there was nothing we had to worry about. Moose was delightful but very much his own person so needed very little looking after, he soon let you know if anything was required. Cassie being an older dog was quite reserved and happy to sit about and wait but mention a walk and she was all attention and excitement.
We very much enjoyed our weekend and would be more than happy to sit again if it worked out.

I absolutely loved my time at the farm. The quiet, the birds, and the stunning sunsets grazing the property's west side each night were delighting my soul.

Jana and Ed had me over for a visit before my sit started so that they could show me the ropes. When I arrived for my sit, the place was very clean, tidy and equipped with many post-it notes to guide my way.

Cedar is the most amicable and well-behaved horse I have ever met. I hadn’t been around horses for a long while and was feeling a bit apprehensive at first. But Cedar gave me all the confidence I needed. She was very cooperative and only started getting mildly cheeky when I was well used to her. And by that time, I knew how to handle her and we had an agreement. Even though she went from model citizen to opportunist white I was at the farm, she never became difficult and always listened. What a pleasure to take care of her! She is a very easy and lovely horse.

I love Doogly-Duke (my nickname) the cat. He is so friendly and never has his claws out unless he is playing with one of his many toys. Watch out then! He is a very enthusiastic chaser and I really loved playing with him because he gets very invested in the pursuit. Good effort, Doogle! He is a happy-go-lucky cat that doesn’t complain and is quite independent. He doesn’t need much. He is the only cat I know that likes dry food better than wet food. We managed to come up with a feeding schedule that minimized the time the wet food was on the counter. It worked pretty good. And when it didn’t, he let me know that he was hungry. That was the only time he meowed at me, rightly so, too.

The farm is very well-stocked. There wasn't anything I looked for and couldn’t find. Jana, your kitchen is impeccable! Time and effort-saving contraptions turned me into a lazy bum while here, thanks Ed! I didn’t know that I was so fond of motion-sensored lights until I stayed here.
Everything is set up so that there is very little work left, e.g. the garden is on a drip system so one just needs to check every couple of days.

If you like quiet, solitude and comfort, this is the place for you. Thanks Jana and Ed for trusting me with your property and lovely creatures! I hope to come back soon!
