I enjoyed house sitting for Olga. The house was comfortable, and watching Bubbles, the cat, was a highlight of each day. This was such a relaxing house sit. Walking to the central district was easy with all the shops lining each street. There are many things to do around the area.
We had a great time looking after sweet little Plume! She was very special, not a lap cat and a bit shy at first but very cuddly in bed in the mornings and at night from day one. And if she felt like cuddling at 5am, she would come and tell you :-) Otherwise she is a very independent cat and goes her way but seemed never far away, often just outside the front door in the garden. Sarah and Ward are very kind and interesting people and their home feels a bit like an art and cultural museum, so many interesting things from around the world and from different cultures, I loved the very old telephone :-) Communication was very easy and they left us with the most detailed welcome guide we have ever had, absolute peace of mind and we can't think of anything that was missing. We also applied for this sit because we wanted to explore the area and we were not disappointed! We did some amazing walks, up to Colomby de Gex, breathtaking! All in all we take some beautiful memories with us and thank you both and little Plume for having us!
First of all, thank you Lola for your trust, it was our first experience of petsitting with “Trusted House Sitter”, you and Sheia made it so simple. Sheia is such a good girl, calm, loving, with her crazy funny moments and she’s so easy to take care of. The flat’s location is very nice , Barking is a really dynamic neighbourhood where we felt safe. Every commodities are really close ( underground, Lidl, parcs, restaurants). Also, thank you for the chocolates 😉
What a lovely sit! Mhorag and John were so welcoming and with clear instructions for looking after Mac. Mac is an absolute gem who stole our hearts. Although instructions were left, Mac has a gentle way of communicating his needs. He is an old boy who everybody in the neighborhood seems to know and love. Couldn’t ask for anything more in a house sit. A beautiful home with the most easy going dog to look after. 10 ⭐️
Jane and Don are easily some of the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure of sitting for on Trusted House Sitters. They went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to utilize everything in the home and how to care for Lambeaux, Mia, & Cowboy. Their home is very comfortable and well-manicured inside and out. We enjoyed taking in all of the plants in the yard. Their furry crew is so easy to fall in love with. Lambeaux likes to be wherever you are when downstairs. When it was meal time, he'd come to lay close to us in the kitchen. If we were watching tv in the living room, he'd hop up on his spot on the couch to hang out. Cowboy is a lover. He likes to be petted and enjoyed snuggling with us in the bedroom. He also enjoyed playing with a variety of cat toys, chasing the play mouse or the laser pointer. Mia was a little shyer, but at night she loved to lay in the landing between the bedrooms and allow us to pet her. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jane & Don and this sit. We hope to have the opportunity to sit for them in the future should their needs line up with our availability.
Clare was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, such a wonderful wonderful lady. Clare was amazing at arranging everything as I sadly arrived after Clare had left. I was met by the one and only Walnut who is the sweetest girl 🐶❤️. Walnut is a little anxious to being with but that’s nothing that lots of playtime and treats don’t solve. Once Walnut gets to know you she’s a real cuddle monster and lots of fun. You won’t be disappointed in sitting for Clare and walnut, I highly recommend this sit but that’s if I don’t get their first ❤️
