Sara and I loved our time at Old Postings. Maisie and Minnow are a fantastic pair of dogs - very different characters but they compliment each other very well. Maisie is quite shy and took a short while to get used to us. She is a very well behaved, gentle dog who loves her food (like most Labradors) and enjoys sitting with you next to the fire. Minnow is a little bundle of joyous energy, constantly looking for a tummy tickle or wanting to say hello to everyone. She can be a little bit naughty every now and then but on the whole is very well behaved for a terrier. The house is very comfortable and Rogate is a wonderful village with multiple great walks straight from the door. The village shop is a big bonus and the neighbours are all very friendly. The surrounding countryside is spectacular. Bob and Lucy are excellent hosts who left clear instructions and contact information. A highly recommended sit.
Our experience caring for Loki, Brownie, and Jory, three huskies each with their unique personalities, was absolutely memorable. You can truly spot a happy dog when you see one, and this trio made it evident every day with their joyful demeanor. Although part of a pack, their individual traits shone through, making every interaction special. We had the pleasure of meeting Adam, who was exceptionally well-prepared for our arrival. His thorough instructions made managing three large, energetic dogs seem effortless. The home and its setup are perfectly tailored to cater to the needs of these active animals, ensuring they have everything they require for a happy and healthy life. The location of the home in a Canadian maple forest added a magical touch to our stay. Enjoying the springtime in such a stunning setting was a dream come true. Adam's organization, his wonderful personality and the natural beauty of the area made this pet-sitting experience one we were extremely happy to have and would love to repeat. We highly recommend this sit to anyone who loves nature and energetic dogs. It's a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Canadian wilderness while in the company of three wonderful huskies.
I had a lovely time sitting for Bowie and Penny. Bowie is an independent boy who likes to go out gallivanting then sleeps somewhere cosy the rest of the time. Penny, on the other hand, was my best friend and my shadow from the start. She came for cuddles at every opportunity and charmed me by sleeping all night next to my pillow! Larissa was very communicative, responsive and helpful and the flat was very cosy and lovely. I would recommend this sit.
This was such a great sit. Firstly, the animals are a joy and so easy to take care of! Allison and John were just so lovely. They picked us up at the airport and we enjoyed a glass of vino together before they left. The best thing about this sit is Meg and Lola who nightly do a walk together - it’s brilliant to witness and be part of. We hope to see them all again in the not too distant future.
Toro and Bella are sweet loving dogs. Toro is pretty laid back but enjoyed playing with my dog Riggs. Bella and Riggs played non stop. Lots of energy between the two of them. The Labrador in them could not resist the inviting pool for a swim. Daily walks x 3 x2 and a couple of trips to the dog park. The house is very comfortable and I enjoyed working poolside. It is a quiet neighborhood and close to many convenient locations. Highway, airport, and local shops and restaurants. Thank you for the opportunity to care for your fur babies.
I had the loveliest stay at Carla’s house with Toto. She was so welcoming and kind I immediately felt at home there. The house was beautiful and Toto was a wonderful furry companion, such a sweet soul. Communication was super quick and Carla left notes behind with some helpful info about the house. Overall had an absolute blast and was sad to go, couldn’t have asked for a better host!
