Anna and Jerry were the perfect pet sitters. They kept in communication about Georgia and the house while I was abroad. Georgia seemed super happy with their care for here, she even has gone upstairs a few times looking for them! Heard from a neighbor today that Jerry took Georgia running, she loves her walks and exercise, thank you !!! I would highly recommend them to any petsit and home care!
Barry and Julie were incredibly welcoming and did everything they could to accommodate us! Their home was lovely and Ollie and Lulu are very sweet dogs. Ollie did have some issues with weeing inside but otherwise was wonderful company and was quite a good character around the house. Lulu is very snuggly and loved a good pat, was incredibly easy to look after. Thanks for having us
I had a lovely time looking after Selassie and Axel. They were two of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. They would often get jealous of each other if I was petting one over the other. It was also easy to take them on walks and there are plenty of beautiful routes in the area. The house also has a fenced in garden so it was easy to let the dogs go in out and whilst I was working from home. Sue and Alex were very friendly and welcoming to me. I arrived a day before the sit started and they picked me up from the airport. They also provided me with a fresh vegetable box and plenty of groceries during my stay. They were also very kind to drop me back off at the airport early in the morning! I would definitely watch Selassie and Axel again.
We had a great time in Oberrieden. It is a perfect area for long walks with a beautiful view on the lake. Tombo love the walks. Jenny and Marcel are really friendly. We highly recommend a stay.
Gus is a sweetheart of a kitty. Very low maintenance and fun to hang out with. The house is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, nestled in the hills.
I loved this housesit and felt so nourished and nurtured being on the dock and in the house. The pictures for this listing don't do justice to the house, the land, and the comfort of the house. The setting was so peaceful and serene - no traffic noise and rarely even boating noises as the house sits on a cove section of the larger lake. Walk out the back door and down the walkway to the dock where I spent nearly every waking hour sitting in the chairs, swimming in the lake, and feeding the catfish (they are really unusual creatures!!) and the many, MANY little fish - how is it that fish know it is 6:00 and feeding time?!?!?!? Floaties for the lake and a kayak were available for use. The house was incredibly organized and comfortably furnished. The house and yard is pristinely card for, as are the many different types of birds. The sunroom is delightful to sit in; the living room is so comfy for watching a movie; the bed is quite comfortable; and the kitchen is wonderful. The kitties were shy, yet curious; and loved their catnip. They loved hanging out on the front porch for brief periods, before returning to their many resting spots set up for them inside the house. So easy to care for. Peggy and Malcolm were easy to communicate with; we even made it through having to change our plans of how and when to meet to orient due to the predicted remnants of a hurricane impacting my travel plans. They supplied me with some groceries and made sure I was comfortable. I so hope to be able to return again...and again. Highly recommended.
I had a great week staying at Miranda and Cark's house in Southampton. Communications with Miranda were seamless from the start and although we didn't meet, I felt warmly welcomed into her home. One of the cats (I assume it was Phoebe, although I did struggle a bit to tell them apart!) was friendly, sought me out for lap time, and slept on my bed, while the other was more skittish and wary of the stranger who had moved into his space. They were absolutely no trouble and really just needed to be fed twice per day. There was a rather random problem with the boiler during my sit, which could not have been anticipated by anyone, and Cark was very helpful, supportive and apologetic when I phoned for advice early in the morning. The house is lovely and beautifully furnished, and I hope to see the stunning garden at different times of the year if the dates match up for future sits.
