I really enjoyed my sit for Pamela. Her home is cozy and super interesting. She made me feel right at home and the babies were super easy to care for. They were such sweet hearts. The area is wonderful, conveniently located and has a lot going on.

Sally
Sally and Andrew were so welcoming and lovely on arrival. We had a wonderful time looking after their beautiful house in such a stunning location. Bruce the cat was really friendly and become very fond of a cuddle by the end of the stay. We also loved looking after the chickens and ducks. Thanks so much, we really did have a lovely time looking after everything and your communication and instructions for the house were great. We’d love to come again in the future. Cheers !

Antonia
As a housesitter and dog sitter for Zazu in Lisbon, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, thanks to Antonia's exceptional care and Zazu's delightful personality.

Antonia proved to be an exemplary pet parent, demonstrating a deep love and commitment to Zazu's well-being. Her clear instructions, thoughtful preparation, and open communication made my role as a housesitter seamless and enjoyable.

Zazu, on the other hand, stole my heart from the moment we met. Not only is he a well-trained and obedient dog, but his playful energy and affectionate nature made every moment spent with her a joy. Whether we were exploring Lisbon's streets or simply relaxing at home, Zazu's company was always a delight.

Overall, I had a wonderful time taking care of Zazu, thanks to Antonia's impeccable communication and Zazu's charming personality. I would not hesitate to repeat this experience and highly recommend Antonia as a pet parent and Zazu as a dog to anyone seeking a rewarding housesitting or petsitting opportunity.

Cheryl and Andy
I feel honoured to have spent time with Ivy, a majestic, beautiful dog who is gentle and well trained. We had an adjustment period in the first 24 hours, but once we understood Ivy's character and quirks more the sit was incredibly enjoyable and my partner and I both fell in love with Ivy. Because our sit was only 2 nights, we didn't have a call beforehand, and Cheryl and Andy were away before we arrived so this probably affected our adjustment period as we didn't know about Ivy's little quirks, but it really wasn't long before we understood them and felt comfortable and confident with her. For instance, she barked loudly and excitedly ran into the (fully secure) garden when let out and barked at cars or people passing the windows, which were alarming at first. True to her breed, she is an alert and vocal dog, so if you are used to more relaxed, snoozing dogs this can be an adjustment. Ivy got up every time we moved, chased shadows or reflections from our phones and watches, as she's always on watch. She also made 'whining' sounds to "talk" with us. We got used to all of this and got to understand Ivy's nature and character within the first 24 hours and all of her quirks became endearing! And we enjoyed talking back to her and giving her pats when she came looking for them.

She pulled a bit on the lead for our first walk but each walk was an improvement on the last and giving treats when she walked well next to us helped. She did seem to pull a little more with my male partner than with me (female) but most of the time she walks so well by your side it feels like you don’t even have a dog on the lead. She didn't like it when we (the humans) cuddled and nosed her way between us, but this was very entertaining and cute. Ivy responded well to ‘place’ if she had done something we didn’t want her to, ‘sit’ in the house and when crossing roads and was amazing at going for a wee in the garden and going into her room if we were going out and at bedtime. Playing with her was a delight, watching her chase a laser pen or playing tug in the garden (an excellent arms and core workout!) Being able to let Ivy come and go as she pleased between the garden and house was great, though she spent most of the time near us. We were very sad to leave Ivy and would have loved a longer sit as we were just getting into a good rhythm when we had to leave. She will definitely maintain a place in our hearts and memory.

Despite it's grand features and space, the house is very cosy and we immediately felt comfortable there. The spare room for the sitters is really lovely and the bed is comfortable. We were in touch with Cheryl and Andy over the weekend. The house is well positioned for a rural feel with woodland walks nearby but with the convenience of amenities and access to town. Popping into Helensburgh for lunch was very easy. Perhaps a little more info in the welcome guide as to walk/feeding times would be helpful but otherwise we had the key info we needed. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable sit. Thank you for having us!

Beatrice
What a lovely sit! Beatrice’s home is cozy, comfortable and very peaceful, with majestic views into the surrounding tree tops. Happy and Snow White are curious and affectionate, and a pleasure to interact with. Snow White could not get enough of her belly rubs, and Happy had some impressive jumping and hunting moves during our playtime together, and was the first to jump on my bed in the mornings. Beatrice was easy to communicate with, and the apartment is nicely located and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
