Sarah and Loretta have been sitting for my cat for a few years now, and we are very happy with the level of care they give to her. They are both very attentive to my cat’s needs and are very professional with updates on how she’s doing while we are away. They are also highly qualified to administer meds if your pet needs them and will come over ahead of your trip to get the full run down of your pet’s routine. We have been using Sarah to do weekly walks with our two dogs. Sarah has been professional, communicative, reliable and all around wonderful to work with. She is truly a natural with dogs. We have two large dogs, one is very leash reactive and the other is very skittish of new people, and she has built a great relationship with them both and worked with both of their quirks. When my mother was admitted to the hospital, I needed someone to take care of her cat. My mother's veterinarian recommended I contact Sit & Stay NJ. Sarah met me at my mom's apartment and met her cat, went over all her needs with me, and started the next day so that my mother world be at ease and I could focus on moms care. Mom being away got extended when she was admitted to rehab so that she could heal, and extended again when we were told mom could not return to her apartment. Sarah was dependable, fairly priced, attentive, and caring through the whole experience. Payment was easy. I never worried if moms cat was not being cared for as they texted me several times a week with pictures and updates as to how mom's cat was doing. They even tried to help finding moms cat a home when we realized mom couldn't return. I highly recommend Sit & Stay NJ without hesitation!

I cannot recommend a better local dog walker! Mike makes it easy to schedule walks in advance and on an as-needed basis. All of the walkers are lovely and my dog is so excited when they arrive!

Have had a good experience here , the groomers appear friendly and my dog always seems happy when she comes out. We always discuss the look prior to getting her haircut. Only taking 1 star off because my poodle was not really given the haircut agreed upon prior to the groom. Usually they’re pretty good, but this time around, they trimmed all the hair off the ears. Just hope next time they let me know if the decision was made because she was too matted or needed the trim. I also don’t like that they don’t brush their teeth. Overall good experience with these groomers and seem like they care to treat the dogs well.

Madison Dog Resort is amazing! The staff is so caring, and the facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our French Bulldog loves it here and always comes home happy. We especially appreciate the updates and photos they send. Highly recommend for top-notch pet care!

Picked up my dog from this place and he was dirty and had a mark on his face didn’t think much of it until after we washed him we noticed he had a bite mark on his face that looked like they had cleaned up well. After bringing the dog to the vet it turned out to be a dog bite and the spa never said anything about it but definitely knew about it . Needless to say I won’t be using there facility . again after barely being able to stand how bad the smell is inside and not disclosing my dog was injured and felt like they were waiting for us to notice if we saw the bite but it didn’t start to show until we cleaned him .

My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely LOVE the Madison! We board our Boxer puppy here when we go away. The owner Ryan went above and beyond for us ..being the first time we were so nervous to leave her. Highly highly recommend the Madison for your pup! Great experience overall!

I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! When I picked him up, he was clean from his bath, well cared for, and had an absolute blast playing with his new doggie friends! I can’t recommend this enough for any dog owner. I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!

I absolutely LOVE the Madison! The staff is wonderful and caring! I feel completely confident in their dedication and love for dogs. The facility is clean and the staff is always taking such great care of the dogs. My dog gets so excited when we turn the corner heading to doggie daycare at the Madison! They have become like family!

Absolutely love The Madison! My dog has been going since he was old enough. He’s grown up at The Madison and enjoys his time there. The staff treats him like their own. They are so nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much from them . Being a first time dog owner, they have been a huge help . I recommend The Madison to everyone I know . We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.

If you want a detail oriented petsitter, you got it here. I have gotten so much advice, training and veterinary information all in one person. My dog doesn’t mind that I go away!

We've had a great experience with Fetch! I don't like sending my pup to a kennel, I prefer to send her to a home. Diane with Fetch has kept her for us a few times now and it's always been a very positive experience. Zelda comes home happy, calm and relaxed every time.

We have been using Fetch for over 10 years now and have not had a single bad experience. We have used several sitters and all have been wonderful. Fetch makes boarding your dog a treat for the owners and the pups. Recommend this service very highly.

We have been using Mike as our dog walker. He is the best!! He is great with our 2 dogs. They absolutely love him!! He gives me daily updates on how they did on their walks. We also have a few cats and one had surgery and when Mike came to walk our dogs he would also give a little extra love to him and also let me know how he was doing when he was there. Fetch is awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been using Fetch pet care for many years and I could not say enough about how helpful and flexible they have been. On occasion I have called for a scheduled dog walk last minute for later that day and they have always been able to accommodate me. They have terrific staff that stay in my home when I travel and keep in touch with me while I’m gone. I have used Fetch in Boise, Idaho and Burbank, California and was very impressed with the quality of the pet sitters in each city. Then I used Fetch in Ridgewood and was not disappointed! The pet sitters were easy to work with but, most of all, they treated my dog like their own. When I picked up my dog, Buddy, from an overnight with Amy, I knew she passed the test with flying colors because as I held my dog and was saying goodbye, he leaned over and licked Amy right on the nose. Better than the Good Housekeeping seal of approval!!

Fetch really is the best. We've used them for almost 2 years now and I'm so glad that our neighbor recommended them to us. They are always there when we need them, even when it has been last minute. I'm always amazed at how quickly they respond to emails and texts when I need a last minute walk or visit. Our primary sitter is amazing with our dog and on the very rare occasion when she is not available they have a backup team (who our dog got to know in advance) that is equally fantastic. Can't say enough nice things and I honestly don't know what we'd do without them.

Fetch Pet Care made sure my cat was well attended while I was on vacation. This was my first time using a pet care service and Janice answered all my questions and put me at ease. Nicole did a great job and was very reliable. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Dealing with Janice at Fetch and Debbie our sitter/walker that was assigned to us was one of the more enjoyable encounters we've had with outside contractors. And when it comes to leaving your dog's care in the hands of others, its not always the best experience. Dealing with Fetch was the exception, they were Super Great!

Amazing experience here for our first time boarding our 7 month old puppy The facility was very clean which is something I did not experience at other places I toured The staff is very friendly helpful and energetic . They obviously care about the well being and safety of your pet and all the others as they are very thorough in the pre screening process before you board there. They go above and beyond they sent us a picture of Daisy everyday with an update on how’s she was doing I have never used a daycare with any of my previous dogs, however after boarding her there we are going to have her start doing some day care days there every month, the experience was great for her socialization with both other people and other dogs

Tanner's lives up to the name Canine Resort! I would never take my dog anywhere else. The grounds and Boarding Suites are spotless. The staff is loving and attentive to each dog's needs. They do a wonderful job of communicating with me. I have recommended Tanner's to quite a few people with excellent results.

Tanner’s is my dog’s 2nd home!!! We absolutely love this place!!!! The people here really love and care about all of the dogs and they are trained to work with dogs, unlike many other day care centers for dogs. Tanner’s has a big open yard for the dogs to run and play. They also have separate areas in the yard so that they can separate the dogs by size, temperament, and energy level. I like the fact that I can see the yard when I drop him off and I can see how much fun the dogs are all having! In the summer they have little doggie pools and sprinklers for them, and when it rains they have a spacious garage for the dogs to play in. As much as possible, though, the dogs are OUTSIDE, which I am so grateful for. I was not planning to have to go back to work full time a year after getting our puppy, but thanks to Tanners, my dog gets a lot of stimulation, socialization, and exercise while his family is at work/school. I am SO grateful!! We have also used Tanner’s for boarding when we had to go away for a week in the Spring. Since my dog was already used to Tanner’s for day care, I felt SO comfortable leaving him there as I knew he would be well cared-for and he would have fun. I cannot recommend Tanner’s highly enough!! Do not look anywhere else for daycare or boarding for your precious pup!

Shiloh has been going to Tanner’s for daycare, training and boarding since 2020 — and she still gets SUPER excited every time we arrive! Tanner’s is her “home away from home.” Recently, Shiloh boarded for 11 nights while we were away — and, although we missed her terribly, we had peace of mind the entire time knowing she was receiving the best care and having fun each day with her dog friends and people friends. What sets Tanner’s apart from others? Quite simply — love. ♥️

We have been to several places, but nothing compares to Tanners. The facility is first class with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and they are segregated by size. It's impeccably clean and a very caring staff. They will take care of all your pets' needs no matter how fussy you are, medicines, treats, foods, just tell them what you want, and they will take care of it down to the smallest detail. The owner is fantastic and on top of her business and really cares. We love Tanners, but more importantly, Ziggy loves going there. We highly recommend them!

Our family LOVES Tanner's Canine Resort and we can't imagine entrusting the care of our precious pup to any other facility. Our dog attended Puppy Kindergarten at four months old. The professional staff was very helpful in working with her and in teaching us the best way to train our dog, always using positive reinforcement. Our dog is now nearly three years old and she attends daycare part time. She runs in every time and is eager to enter the yard to play with her "friends". The staff treats our dog with love and great care. They are also very good at communicating with pet owners when necessary. We feel very lucky that we found Tanner's and so does our lovely Labrador ❤️!!!

Teller, the beagle, loves Tanner’s! He’s a bit of an anxious dog, possibly because we adopted him at 8 years old and he likely wasn’t around many people or dogs. But at Tanner’s he really opens up. He has been an overnight guest at Tanner’s while my husband and I are on vacation since the summer of 2020. At first he was apprehensive but the care shown by the staff allows him to relax. These days he trots right in. It’s like he is excited to see his friends. We are so grateful to have a place like Tanner’s where the entire staff clearly loves what they do. We know our best buddy is in good hands.

Tanner's is Finn's FAVORITE place to be when not at home!! He goes there for daycare and as soon as I turn onto Hopper Ave. he's so anxious to get there that he cry/barks until I get him out of the car at the facility The staff is always friendly, kind and very professional with both the animals and humans. I've had collies for 40 years and have always been very particular regarding their care. When I leave Finn at Tanner's I am confident that he is in the best hands possible (besides mine) and he will be safe and have a great day playing. My 11 year old dog just spent 2 nights boarding at Tanner’s and I couldn’t be happier with his stay! I am always hesitant to send my dog anywhere to be boarded, I did extensive research and it is clear why Tanner’s stands out as the best! The staff was so thorough upon dropping our dog Roman off, they closely noted all of his instructions and medication administration, and the items we sent him with. I felt at ease leaving out their door and that is a first for me being that I have an older dog with some health issues to watch out for. Upon picking him up he was so happy, he has been sleeping since he came home! A happy pup is a tired pup! I love how clean the resort is, how professional the owners are, it is obvious all the staff loves these animals and takes great care of them! They get a 10/10 for safety factors and securing the property and I love that there is someone always on site and it is right next to a vet in case anything ever happened. I don’t have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to describe my thoughts in Tanner’s!! My gratitude is HUGE!! I have a now 10 month old French Bulldog (Ellie) who has been a regular at Tanner’s since she was 5 months old. She is at daycare twice a week which just makes me feel like a good dog mom knowing she gets such good clean supervised safe playtime with her friends each week and great exercise. Ellie has now also boarded twice for multiple night stays, and it gives me the most absolute peace of mind knowing she is again in a safe place, with all of her regular friends and people caring for her and her needs when I can’t be with her. The boarding facility is a 10 — total top notch — so clean and spread out and no crates at all, but rather separate little rooms. Suzanne and Tracy have been so incredibly kind and helpful to me since day 1 and quelled every single fear and totally accommodated my helicopter mom’ing as a first time boarder. I was able to FaceTime with Ellie whenever I wanted! Made my heart so happy to see her having a blast with her friends. The entire staff is so kind and accommodating. Sometimes my mom helps me out and picks Ellie up or drops off, and unfortunately she has a bad back and is unable to physically pick her up, the staff always come out to her car to get Ellie or bring her back! Both Ellie and I live Tanner’s!! 🩷

I can never saw enough about how truly wonderful Paw Pals is! From the dog walking service, to the daycare, to the overnight home stays and the boarding, we have done it all and each time has been wonderful. They truly treat your pet like their own. Our dog is now 10 and has always been a nervous type. The team at Paw Pals is always so patient and kind and loving with him. I always love getting the reports with how sweet he was with them too! I have and will continue to recommend Paw Pals to all of my friends and family. It is the only place when we leave our pup, we never have to think twice! Paw Pals provided excellent care for Nala while I was away! Given that she's a working line German Shepherd, I was worried about meeting her mental and physical activity needs during boarding. However, Paw Pals kept her active, engaged, and stimulated with walks, puzzles, and playtime. Brittanie was incredibly responsive and reassuring when I checked in, even sending extra photos for my peace of mind. They continuously refine and improve their practices to be inclusive of all types of dogs, from their daycare program and individual enrichment activities to on-site training and even micro groups for selective dogs. I can not thank the Paw Pals team enough. We got our puppy in the middle of winter, so it was challenging to find ways to help him socialize with other dogs and people. I am so happy we found Paw Pals! Jet was nervous the first time he walked in, but after that, he always walked in with a smile and a wagging tail! They are very accommodating when we send him (3-4 times a month). We don’t send him often, but the few times he has attended daycare shows that it helped him feel comfortable around new dogs and people. We feel at ease knowing he is with kind professionals, exercising and socializing, and the pictures they send us make our day. I can tell the owner is diligent with whom she hires and is a kind and caring professional. Their website is straightforward and easy to navigate. The Paw Pals team has been excellent taking care of my pup as I transition back to working in the office! Paw Pals is the best - our dogs love to go there. The last time we boarded them, Paw Pals literally saved our summer vacation - one of our dogs needed a visit to the vet while we were away (non serious but needed to go) and the owner took her for us so we didn’t have to disappoint our kids and cut our trip short. They always take great care of our babies and go above and beyond.

Our dog is a "challenging" dog....highly anxious and sometimes downright nasty! We were concerned when we had to board her due to an illness in our family, but Paw Pals did an outstanding job of taking care of her. The facility is new and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and all lovers of the dogs. We will use Paw Pals again when we have the need, and we are very grateful for the service they supplied, especially the daily "report card" emails.

There are not enough words to say how amazing Athena is! She is the best doggy sitter and second momma to my boy Dexter. She stays in contact while i’m away on trips and sends Videos and pictures. She is so good to him. Athena cares so much about these pups and gives them exercise and lots of snuggles and kisses. Thankful to have found her! We love her! 😊

Athena is the best! Anytime I go away or have an obligation, I make sure Athena is the first person I contact! My dog Brady knows Athena's name and whenever I say we're going to Athena's house or Athena is coming to visit, he instantly gets excited! Athena is our first choice for whenever we travel to take care of our rescue dog and cat. We've been using her services for about a year now and truly feel like she loves our animals as much as we do! She is so attentive to their individual needs and quirks and spends so much of her time making sure they feel comfortable while we are away. We love the daily updates and videos she sends, they're always so sweet, funny and loving. Athena is also extremely neat and tidy, our home always looks perfect when we return! Can't say enough good things about this fantastic young lady! Hire her! So I started following Athena on social media about a year ago or so, as she does a very good job of promoting her business there. Our current long time dog sitter/house sitter who we have used for 20 years plus was having some health issues so I was keeping an eye out for a backup. Well that time for a backup happened this week. So I contacted her a few in a few weeks back and we set up a meet and greet for her to come over and meet our two kids... Seamus and Luna... And I could tell just by the way she walked into the house that she knew how to handle dogs very well. Seamus is a two-year-old very energetic lab. And if you don't just walk in the house and keep going, but stop and wait for him he'll jump all over you. But she just walked right in and the two of them fell in love with her immediately. So she watched Seamus and Luna for 3 days this week and stayed at our house... As that's where they feel the most comfortable. Not only did she take very good care of our kids, was very attentive to their needs, But she also took very good care of our house. Every morning and throughout the day and every evening we were greeted with a bunch of photos and videos and everything else, text messages telling us how they were doing which is great because then we can relax and enjoy our time away. She even asked if there was anything special she could do to make sure that we were comfortable that the dogs were doing okay.... Which I thought was a very nice touch because some people may have certain things that other people don't. So is very nice to be asked. Her rates are very reasonable. She's a fantastic person in general. OUR dogs absolutely fell in love with her.... And all in all it was a very good experience. We will definitely be using Athena again... No doubt about it. Best way to get in touch with her is text message or phone... I guess the final thing I'll say is I am an absolute maniac when it comes to my dogs. There are very very very few people on the face of this planet that I will trust them with... Even for an hour. Yes I'm that guy. Athena is definitely one of the select few that is in the inner circle that I would never hesitate to have take care of my dogs!!!

Athena is such a wonderful dog sitter. I have 3 big fur babies and she loves and treats them each like they are her own. She sends so many updates, pictures and videos, I don’t spend one second worried away from them! She is caring, has lots of experience, and she is extremely loving and professional. I’m so relieved to have found them! They helped us out in a pinch early on in my puppy’s life and now they are our go to. We had to use another place one weekend that our dog hated so much that he wouldn’t get in the car for the next trip. Once we arrived at Dan’s place (instead of the other) my puppy was visibly relieved and charged for the entrance. He LOVES it here. Cameras are a nice touch. Staff is excellent. 10/10

Pampered Paws is the best! I can’t say enough nice things about Dan and his crew. They are amazing. They offer grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare. Each service is exceptional! We are thrilled to have a place that is so clean and everyone is nice and caring. Our dog Franny absolutely loves going there. No goodbyes or sad faces when we drop her off, she’s like “see-ya later” and leaves us while she is running inside. This makes my heart happy. Most importantly, I know Franny is safe, happy and gets lots of love there. She comes home from daycare and boarding relaxed and content. I sent my puppy there for the first time this weekend. they were so nice such good people, my dog loved it, I was a little worried since my dog didn't get along with other dogs so well. but wonders ever since I picked him up he's a new puppy so friendly and fun I take him to the parks and he loves playing with other dogs now. he is such a different and better dog. I definitely recommend this place as #1 they're so good with the dogs and the dogs loves it,

The staff is amazing they are so nice and professional and Dan is absolutely amazing best groomer in Rockland he caught an ear infection early on and saved me a costly vet bill Dan is caring, compassionate and runs a great day. Care/kennel/grooming. Again if Murphy is happy that speaks volumes!!!!!!😍

Pampered Paws is an outstanding place! I have a dog that gets nervous about grooming but Dan and his staff make my dog feel comfortable. He always comes back happy and looking perfect! Thankfully, Dan noticed an issue with my dog's back leg recently which led us right to the vet. A diagnosis of Anaplasma (a tick born disease) was treated with antibiotics. Dan noticed it before anyone in my family did. Dan pays tremendous attention to all of the dogs and was instrumental in keeping my dog healthy. Thank you Dan!!! There is no one better!!!

Thank you Pampered Paws My difficult dog Lionel, finally found a place where he is happy. Dan and his staff took the time and had endless patience to deal with his seperation issues and fear of other dogs. They went above and beyond to ensure he was settled in, calm and safe. They never gave up on him. Lionel and I are incredibly grateful for their obvious love and dedication to the dogs under their care.

Best place ever!! I'm usually skeptical about where I leave my dog but she had the best time and they took really good care of her so I can go to the yankee game. My favorite hotel allows dogs and now I know she don't have to be lonely. I will definitely come back and I recommend this lovely place to everyone. Just leave me a space.

The staff is SO amazing, the place is very clean.Our puppy had the most incredible time!! Super trustworthy and Just the best!! Highly recommend! I had a 3 month old puppy and had to go away. I was very nervous. Dan the owner completely put me at ease. He was so accommodating. He always texted me right back. There were web cameras in facility so I could monitor my baby. I was sent little videos to ensure his well-being. I even got to face time him. The facility was also convenient and easy to find. There are woods and a trail behind the center for walks. Also, because I had to leave him a few days I received a free wash and nail clipping. Cannot recommend enough! I will definitely use again!!!

Absolute best place! They have caring people taking care of your loving pet! My dog loves being there and loves hanging out with the staff all day. Only a few months after a total hip replacement I trusted them with my dog and they took great care of him. I will always use them!

Priscilla absolutely loves going to Camp BowWow. Everyone there is amazing. I love when she does her extra activities that I get pictures of her having fun. It’s a nice little surprise while I am at work. She also has started her training and I was given great instructions on how to reinforce everything at home. This is a great way to keep my high energy pup happy and busy while I am work. I highly recommend.

We love Camp Bowow! My dog only goes once a month but the staff always remember her. They are incredibly kind because she is so skittish. We have used them for overnight care and they are great! I never worry leaving my dog with them. The facility is clean and welcoming!

The facility was nice and large and clean. Cool inside. The cabins were very large for the dogs to stay in. I was pleased with the tour and the transparency. I love the fact that they have cameras to take a look at if you want to check on your dog. I like the options for indoor and outdoor activities and the extracurricular activities. The staff was very informative and friendly. I will be boarding my husky there this coming week Very excited He came home very tired! I liked the report card as well. It made me feel secure that he was in good hands and the staff wasn't afraid of a big dog. Huskys are mouthy players and I get nervous that it can be confused for aggression. They were great with him and I 10/10 recommend.

I love how staff get to know your dog and really care. They send photos and videos during special play sessions. We feel comfortable knowing that our boy is with friends at Camp Bow Wow and he is always super happy to go back.

Our dog Callie is super energetic and a lot to handle but the employee's at Camp Bow Wow are extremely patient with her and take great care of her. If youre looking to board your dog this is the place!

Didn’t last two days here, first day picked him up early because a dog in the room was relentless wouldn’t leave him alone (they claimed he just wanted to play) second day he was picked up early because there were about 16 dogs in the “room” with him of all sizes up to 40 lbs about 20 when I got there. He’s a 8 month old puppy (the man who worked there kept saying sorry we don’t have a room for teacups hello he’s 14 lbs and claimed there were 2 workers in the room well the camera should have showed 2) Your dog will come home wet and dirty each day and today my puppy smelled like a dog urinated all over him and now I have to bathe him. All I wanted was fun positive environment for my puppy to play and socialize. Thank goodness for cameras this was a nightmare.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Cameras to view your doggy during camp. Fenced outdoor is connected to the air conditioned indoor. My dog likes it there. :)

We love bringing our chocolate lab here. The staff are always courteous, kind and treat all the dogs with the utmost love. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do to make it a safe and gratifying experience for all the dogs.

Penny had a great day during her first visit at camp bow wow. I enjoyed the tour. I like how each pup has their own cubby to keep their food and leashes organized. I loved watching the dogs play on the puppy cam. Camp bow wow was very accommodating. I appreciated having a choice of keeping penny in the play area all day or getting a lunch break for a couple of hours. We will definitely be back.

The excellent and caring staff patiently worked with my previously unsocialized dogs and helped them to get comfortable with other dogs. This place provides all the love, attention, and social opportunities to help a dog thrive! This is my new favorite place!!
