Billy's home was wonderful! Nice, brightly lit, cozy living space and an excellent location (can't be beat). The Killingsworth neighborhood has so much to offer – eateries, two big beautiful parks within walking distance (just a few blocks) and an overall relaxed feel. Billy was a great communicator before and throughout our stay – he was kind and easy-going and provided a thorough welcome guide with everything we needed to know to feel comfortable in his home during our stay. The two cats – Luna and Bonkers – were sweethearts. Bonkers is still growing up, but was remarkably great for a kitten! Luna appreciated occasional snuggles, but was mostly self-sufficient and independent. Overall friendly, fun companions to share a home with. Highly recommend this stay!
We had an amazing time housesitting for Daniel and Ryan. Their house is beautiful and very comfortable, and we fell in love with sweet Annie and Ruby! Ryan made us a lovely dinner on the night we arrived and both were really great at communicating throughout the sit. Would love to return to Southend! :)
Sitting for Kim and Alison was a joy. The pups are sweet and we’ll-behaved. Each has his own terrier personality. The house is so comfortable and the garden is perfect. There are nice walks from the door and it’s an easy bus ride or drive to Winchester. If you have the chance to sit for then, don’t miss out.
Anne and Richard were fantastic to sit for! Their communication before and during our sit was great and their expectations for home and pet care were very clear. Their two very engaged and cuddly kitties were a pleasure to watch. Rarely a few feet apart, these partners in crime melted our hearts and kept us entertained for weeks. Their home was also very clean, in a great quiet neighborhood, and has a lovely garden. We'd happily watch Finn and Kelly anytime!
Lexi is a super sweet and friendly cat. She loves to play and have a cuddle when she's not sleeping. Danielle's flat is clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. The little garden is private and lovely to sit in in the sunshine ☺️
It was an absolute pleasure housesitting for Rachel and Trevor. They were so organized and communicative and set me up with everything I needed to be comfortable in the house. The house in an amazing location. The neighborhood is so so safe with lot of kind neighbors. The house is clean and cute and I lived my best life being 2 minutes walking distance from a Tesco Express and also a short walk to town and the beach. Can't ask for much more! As for the fur babies - I fell in love with Emma, Henry, and Gibbs. Henry is a good and goofy boy who wants all the cuddles and can barely contain his wiggles from excitement to go on a walk. Emma is a sweetheart and want to do everything that her big brother Henry does. She's absolutely precious. Gibbs is very chill and curious and once he warmed up to me, I earned all the cuddles from him too! I worked during the day and all of the animals were fine chilling while I was on my laptop and waited very patiently for their long evening walk. I miss them already! Loved this house sit so much! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to hang with your fur children in Exmouth and for being such great hosts, Rachel and Trevor!
