Xan was a great cat/kitten and housesitter! It was our first time using zeewoi and Xan really helped make the process a lot easier. We have a kitten and an older cat who each needed their own special care and attention. From the special feeding and sleeping situations to the understanding of different cat moods, Xan was very thoughtful and attentive with it all. Xan was also a great communicator. They sent pet updates with photos every day and answered all of our questions. Xan even offered suggestions and advice to follow up with our rules of no cats on countertops. When the kitten figured out that she could scale any piece of furniture in the apartment, Xan who has a great sense of humor, sent funny videos of the foil training to dissuade the kitten from climbing on the countertops as we had asked during our meet. The cats were happy when we got home and the house was clean. We could see that everyone and everything was taken care of. We look forward to asking Xan back to our home to care for the cats the next time we travel.
We had a wonderful time in Leyburn with Bertie and Winter. They were the sweetest dogs, cuddly and easy to walk. Great on leads and around other people/dogs, also great re-call! The Annex was also lovely and cozy, the perfect holiday spot. Michelle and Clive were easy to communicate with and were very welcoming when we arrived. We would house sit for them again anytime.
Harley is a fun-loving doodle with high interest in keeping your attention. He is cuddly and obedient under command. We walked him several times each day in the neighborhood; sometimes taking him on hikes with us. We discovered he walks best with only one person; walking parallel at that person's side. We were required to keep him kenneled when not at home, and he readily goes there and is waiting patiently when we return. Danelle left simple-to-follow instructions and communicated with us throughout our stay in her comfortable townhome with a lovely patio where we enjoyed sitting with Harley; reading, enjoying a glass of wine, or watching golfers putt. An outdoor heated pool allowed us to do some lap swimming followed by a hot tub soak as well as a tennis court which allowed us one of our favorite activities. The hikes in this area and beyond are wonderful. Stores are close. We were required to show ID each time we entered this gated community, so make sure you have that along with you. This was a lovely experience with sweet Harley which we enjoyed very much.
We had a wonderful week at Vernon farm in the stunning Cotswolds. Annabel and Bertie were great company and made us feel very welcome. Handover was excellent to ensure a smooth sit. The doggie's are divine. Purdy is the older elegant lady and loves a belly rub. Ruby the pointer is full of charisma and energy focused on monitoring the pigeons and the gorgeous girl Bumble the cocker is right next to you demanding a cuddle. They were great fun and the land around is fantastic to walk and explore. There is an amazing cafe too at Which ford pottery in the village - incredible home made food and then we have Daylesford organic farm only a 15 min drive with their amazing produce. It was one of our best sits and we would love to come back one day Blessings Marek and Nina
Coco & Neeka are really sweet dogs! They only took a few min to warm up to us and then they loved us! They were very laid back dogs. They love to snuggle and insist on sleeping with you which was so cute! Syanna & Sean are very loving dog owners and you can tell they really cared about their dogs. They were very nice and very pleasant to work with! They were really generous and easy going! The house was more beautiful than the pictures! It truly was like living in a magazine! The property was also gorgeous with the community pool, hammocks and fire place! I’ve got nothing but good things to say!
We highly recommend time with affectionate Charlie in his beautiful home. Tanya and Cornelius are wonderful hosts who blessed us immensely by graciously accommodating us for a family visit we had in San Diego and allowing us to stay the night before they left the next afternoon. Charlie is THE FRIENDLIEST CAT I’ve ever watched! As soon as we walked in the door, he was there to meet us and let us pet him. I LOVED that he has a cat perch that he sits on near the dining table, because he wants to be near you—even if he’s just sleeping. He doesn’t jump on the table or counters, but will come up to snuggle on the couch or bed (if invited)—which we also loved. He has his own room for food, litter box, and night time sleeping. He was quiet, even when ready for his breakfast and dinner, but has a beautiful purr when being petted. We had a full day (and some partial ones) to relax and enjoy their beautiful home with lots of light coming through windows and multiple sliding glass doors in their open living area. We watched the summertime Sea World fireworks through the front windows or the upper deck patio every night. The first listing picture made me nervous about staying in a “model home,” but it is VERY comfortable and homey. The spacious guest bedroom is not pictured, but it has a wonderfully comfortable queen size bed, empty drawer space, and on-suite bathroom. There are so many reasons to go to San Diego that we hope to return and would love to spend time with Charlie in his home, if timing works out.
We feel so fortunate to have been chosen to sit for Marie and Santiago. From the first time we chatted on the phone we felt comfortable with them. They are both outgoing, friendly and generous people. The instructions regarding cat and house care were simple and clear. The three adorable kitties were so lovable and so much fun to take care of. The neat and clean house is modern and well appointed with all the comforts of home and we were encouraged to enjoy it, which we did! We will miss Marie and Santiago and their pawsitively wonderful fur kids. So looking forward to returning to sit again!
