We were made to feel very welcome in this house with an exceptionally well laid out garden. Bob had a meal ready for us when we arrived. Bob and Chris are an example to everybody in taking the necessary care to recycle virtually everything which could be recycled. Tikka and Custard were happy to have lots of cuddles and Custard had a wonderful purr. An immaculate house and garden which I could recommend to anyone as a great petsit. Thanks Chris and Bob.
We very much enjoyed our house sit for the wonderful Norman, Winnie and the incredible cat Rosie. Maggie and Steve gave us a great handover and we loved staying in their lovely flat which is beautifully designed. It was great to be there when the street parties were happening. Neighbours invited us to join in which was great fun. There are some great independent shops/cafes that make this a special place. The dogs are so loving and great fun. Just make sure Norman has his frissbee when you take him to the park. He is a genius at catching it and Winnie will try to bowl Norman over and take it off him so its full on distracting her by playing ball and hopefully a plastic bottle that she finds and runs around with. She also loves a chase from other dogs - she has a lot of energy so we took her out a couple of times a day and Norman mainly once a day. He was happy to play with catch the ball in the garden. Rosie is so special - what a beautiful cat, full of character and she definitely is the boss. We would be very happy to sit for these beauties again. Thank you Maggie and Steve for making it so easy for us
We loved our sit for Alaska, Mama Fu and Courtney Act so much. Rob & Idan are wonderful hosts: thoughtful, always available and taking good care of your well being while housesitting. Alaska is a cuddly fluff ball - I enjoyed playing with her the most. She was instantly warming up with us and very lovely to be with. She loves to cuddle you during movie time and she loves being combed. Courtney Act and Mama Ru are the outdoor cats and always thankful for feeding time and fresh drinking water. The house and the pool area are stunning. The garden truly is an oasis where you can watch all the beautiful plants, butterfly’s and just lay around the pool. If you are happy one of the outdoor cats comes by and cuddles you. In our case Mama Ru. If you have the chance to sit for Rob & Idan, their wonderful cats and home - take the chance and have a wonderful time in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks again for having us.
Kerry left a complete notebook with helpful details on her beloved pups and complete contact information for veterinary or condo issues . She was always available by text or WhatsApp for any concerns. The condo is situated in a wooded area with all the amenities of the great City of Portland, ME nearby. Highly recommend
Being local to the Tampa Bay area, I was able to step in to finish this pet sit (cancellation)for Brandell. I was lucky to only have Bella to look after, so I was able to give her full attention. We had 2 daily walks, I found a dog park within walking distance at the Audubon Village apartment complex just "around the bend". All the folks I met at the dog park said dogs from outside the complex are welcome in there, Bella had a blast meeting and running around with the other poochies we met there, remember to bring her ball and a bowl for water as there is a water source there for the dogs. When we got home she was able to cool off by jumping in the pool, until I had to stop her from getting TOO tired out, I don't she knows herself. LOL I did some leash training with the gentle lead and harness, it was easier for me to walk her then. She is very friendly with other dogs and lovable and will stay by your side all the time looking at you with her sweet face to make sure you are OK. Thanks for taking good care of me Bella. Big heart to you
