Larry and Michele were great, from first contact to having dinner ready for us on our return. The house was spotless and our Mr. Jolly didn't want them to leave. I can't say enough about their communication with us while we were gone. The daily updates and pictures of their adventures with Mr. J were wonderful to see and made us feel like we were enjoying their time at our home right along with them. We would unequivocally recommend Larry and Michele to anyone for their next housesit. They were great with our dog and just very nice people-period and we are all happy to count them as new friends!
Winston and Abigail were the best! My wife and I had the privilege of sitting the cutest and sweetest bunnos. Pudge and Jojo are such personalities, incredibly friendly and very fun to play with. Big shoutout to Abigail and Winston who made the entire planning and coordination aspects so pleasant. They are clearly experienced, professional and incredibly welcoming. This is a great sit. It is in a nice village not far from a market town and short drive to Oxford. The house is lovely and comfortable. We had a car so can not comment on public transportation but there is a bus stop right in front of the house. I do rather think a car would be preferred to see all interesting places in the area. The pets were great and easy to care for. We enjoyed the sit very much.
This is by far the best house sit I have ever had! Mary and her family are absolutely wonderful in every way possible. They were wonderful hosts, very accommodating, and extremely communicative. Their home is clearly beautiful and extremely relaxing/cozy, and the location could not have been better. For anyone working remote - the outdoor space is unbeatable. And, there are so many amazing walking trails in their backyard! Mary and her family ensured I had everything possible to enjoy my stay at their house and no detail was overlooked. But, the best part of my trip, by far, was their pets!! They each have such funny and different personalities, and are the biggest lovers I have ever met! Scooter is the biggest lover and the best cuddler I have ever encountered. Brewer is spunky, cuddly, and the best shadow you never knew you needed. Murphy is a little lazy lover who just looks at you with the sweetest eyes and enjoys lounging. And Linus is the softest boy who loves to be held once he gets to know you and has the cutest temper tantrums waiting for his carrots. They all play well together and are so easy to walk together. I already miss all the boys so much and am even more disappointed in the lack of cuddles from my own pups now. I would never pass on an opportunity to housesit for Mary! The family, pets, and house are all a true gem.
We loved our time in Boulder! Aly’s home is beautiful and in a wonderful area. She left us clear directions and communication was very easy. Best of all, Max and Billie were both extremely cute and well behaved. We really enjoyed our time with them! If you’re in Boulder we highly recommend this house sit.
