We really enjoyed housesitting for Marianne and looking after Scout! Marianne was very welcoming and easy to communicate with and the house was really well equipped and in a lovely part of Sydney. Scout was a pleasure to look after – we took him on lots of beautiful walks all around the area. He especially loved the off-leash beach where he jumped around and played in the water. He was very good with other dogs that we met on the walks and he also really enjoyed chilling on the couch with us in the evenings. Thanks so much Marianne!
Enya is the coolest and funniest dog, and a wee bit ornery. She’s also an amazing companion…I hope to spend time with her again in the future. To take Enya on walks, you must be strong and balanced with good footing…and stay alert. If she sees something she wants, like a squirrel for instance, she will take off like a race horse dragging you in her dust. Elisabeth is the sweetest and the most lovely person whom I’ve ever encountered. I would love to spend some time with her. The home is unique and the view can’t be beat. It was a nice introduction to Lake Norman, a lake that I’ve crossed over on the highway many times but have always wanted to get acquainted with.
We are extremely grateful to Angeli and Daniel for having us in their beautiful home. We appreciated living and spending time with them when we first arrived in the U.K. and looking after Timmy, Lucy and Poppy. We felt very welcome and we were told to make ourselves at home. And we did especially in the sun room that we enjoyed everyday. Angeli is a very easy person to get along with and house sit for. Her clear expectations and good communication skills made our stay extremely enjoyable and restful and her three dogs are a delight to take care of. Thank you Angeli and Daniel for being such kind loving hosts especially considering how busy you both were. Thank you Angeli for taking us to and from the shops and picking us up from the train station. Also thanks again for the Gluten free pizza and organising a pizza night where we got to meet your friend Robert and play card games. We pray Lucy won't need the same operation Poppy and Timmy had, but if so we hope to be able to house sit for you again. God bless, Jeannine and Stephano
