Jack has been an absolute dream as a (repeat) housesitter, this time taking care of our home for about ten days. From the moment we left, we knew everything was in the best possible hands. Jack was incredibly attentive to all the needs of our home, plants, and animals, and his dedication showed in every detail. One of the standout things this time around was how well he took care of our garden. We had recently planted a few new things, including a pumpkin patch, and Jack watered everything with such care. It’s clear he has a green thumb, as everything was thriving when we got back. Jack kept the garden in great shape—especially our nascent pumpkin patch. It's not easy keeping up with new plantings, but Jack did an incredible job. He was also flexible when our travel plans were disrupted. When our flights got delayed and rescheduled, Jack didn’t hesitate to adjust to our return schedule. He graciously extended his stay, ensuring that everything at home continued running smoothly until we got back. His flexibility was such a relief during a stressful time, and we’re so grateful for that. On top of all that, the house was immaculate when we returned. Jack left everything in perfect condition, even better than we left it! He went above and beyond, leaving us a thoughtful gift of pumpkin spice coffee, which was such a warm welcome home. Our chickens grew a lot under his care, and both Ollie, our dog, and Belle, our cat, absolutely adore him. They were happy and content when we got home, which speaks volumes about the love and attention Jack gives them. It's clear that Ollie and Belle feel safe and comfortable with him. Jack's regular check-ins were great, giving us peace of mind, but he’s also incredibly self-sufficient, which meant we could truly relax while we were away. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better housesitter, and we feel so lucky to have Jack looking after everything when we're away. We’ll absolutely be having him back and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and thoughtful housesitter.

Eric and Mel took excellent care of our labradors and our house. They provided timely updates, were very responsive and walked the pups a lot, particularly our younger one Mambo. The house was in perfect condition upon our return. They are also very kind, intelligent and nice people to get to know.

I have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the home of Jo & Steve, whilst looking after their adorable cat, Ruby.
Jo & Steve were very welcoming. They are a caring couple who ensured that I was comfortable during my stay, & that I was well informed about Ruby, so that I could provide Ruby with the best possible care.
Ruby is a Star. She has a lovely nature & is a wonderfully characterful soul.
Ruby is not a cat that likes to sit on a lap but she does like to be close to you & receive plenty of TLC & some playful interaction. She enjoys being stroked & often flops over, inviting a tummy tickle.
Ruby caused no end of amusement, particularly when she insisted on watching the television, right up close to the screen. Her favourite programmes being Countryfile & the weather forecasts.
There was good open communication between myself, Jo & Steve, before & during the sit to ensure thar all went smoothly.
Their cottage is characterful & spacious, reflecting their interests in the arts & music.
I was warm & comfortable during my stay. It was like a home from home, only better!
The friendly & picturesque village is ideally located for exploring the coast & countryside of the South Hams & South Devon.
Access to the village is via narrow lanes with regular passing points. The lanes soon became familiar to me with no problems in negotiating.
It was no hardship to walk from the allocated parking space to the cottage, as it was similar to walking along an extended drive, as there was no traffic or road to cross.
Thankyou Jo, Steve & Ruby for a great stay.
I would love to return in the future.
And in the meanwhile I highly recommend this Pet Sit.

Kennie is a lovely affectionate cat and easy to care for. I was made to feel welcome at the home and enjoyed my two week stay. The property is well located and has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. Overall it was a great experience and Kennie was good company. I would happily return for future stays.

Sedona and zeus were great! They are home bodies and love just snoozing at home . They are super relax , and are timid at first but they will eventually warm up to you. As for jordan and his gf, they are super communicative and will reply you super fast if needed ! Highly recommend this sit and we would come back anytime :)

Mesha
It was such a joy to pet/house-sit for Mesha and Matt! They are friendly and lovely people who were very communicative and made sure I had everything I needed while I was there. All of their animals are such treasures––I cannot choose a favorite and will miss them all dearly! Mona is a super funny and characterful old girl who loved to sleep under the covers with her head on my arm every night; Arthur is a big, gentle baby who likes to be kissed on his head and would sleep next to my pillow; Lyra is a beeeaaaautiful cat with an adorable purr who loves to play and sit on laps; and Frankie is very smart, affectionate, and funny (he likes to stretch himself into interesting shapes as he rolls around on the floor and would sometimes put his front paws on my shoulders to give me a loving head butt). Bobbie Jean is very companionable, sweet, and playful; he is a good walker and great at sleeping quietly in his crate all night. Mesha and Matt’s house is comfortable and had everything I needed to feel at home. It’s very close to a nice walking trail and stores, plus a short drive into the center of Durham if you have a car. I am certain that anyone who sits for Mesha and Matt will fall in love with all of the animals and have a great stay!

Caring for Kelly's cat and home was a wonderful experience. Billie Jean was a real sweetheart. She was my constant companion whether I was working on my laptop, reading a book, or relaxing in the yard. She was either sitting nearby or on my lap purring loudly. She was a very calm, easy to care for cat who also enjoyed playtime - her favourite seemed to be chasing after hair elastics AND bringing them back to me!

Kelly was very easy to communicate with right from the start. She was very clear in explaining Billie's routines both before the sit during our video call and in the welcome guide.

It really felt like a vacation staying at her home located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood steps from the ocean. I was lucky to enjoy 10 days there. Amazing views, beautiful sunsets, and an oceanfront pathway that takes you all the way to Fishermans Wharf. Beacon Park, Government Buildings, and Inner Harbour area are all walkable. Very convenient location with a grocery store and great sushi spot a couple blocks away!

All in all, it was a fantastic experience and if you get the chance to cat/housesit here, you're in for a treat :)
