Cat Sitters in Ransomville, NY

Louise was an absolute delight! She cared for our Golden, Ellie, as if she was her own. Louise kept in contact while I was out of town with lots of pictures of our Ellie. The house was also immaculate upon our return home. I would highly recommend Louise and are so excited to welcome her back next year.

William and Caitlyn came to our house with their family to sit for Suzy, our 12-year-old dog who has some health issues. They are a nice couple, and we spent a couple of hours together in the afternoon before we left, talking over Suzy's routine and leaving them printed, detailed instructions about feeding, walking, and how long to leave her alone. However, on the first day, they did not adhere to our guidelines, leaving Suzy alone for 8 hours instead of the maximum 5-6, and not walking her for over 24 hours. Our neighbors reported excessive barking, and we confirmed this through our doorbell camera and door sensor. They mentioned that Suzy was refusing to go out, but instead of convincing her or picking her up as we showed them, they just left her inside. After discussing these issues with them, we believe the care improved from the second day. Despite the better attention thereafter, the initial lapse was concerning, leaving us with a stressful couple of days during our holiday. Because of that, we cannot provide a full 5-star rating but appreciate their responsiveness to our feedback.

This is the third time Colin and Karen have sat for us and I believe we are becoming spoiled. They are super responsive and organized. The cats are a bit more reserved with strangers than with us (even though i have tried to explain that they KNOW Colin and Karen now and should be more friendly!) - but they’re still so well cared for while we are gone. Colin and Karen go above and beyond - this time included shovelling snow, salting the walkways and accepting a very large parcel delivery. And if that’s not enough - they always leave the house spotless. We can’t say enough great things about them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Margaret was fantastic - our pets were well cared for l, happy and healthy when we came home! The house was clean and tidy and we were even surprised with a treat!!! We had communications during our time away and got a picture or 2 of our happy pup! I would highly recommend Margaret - we had complete peace of mind while away!

Alex was simply the best housesitter I could have ever had. Baloo was superbly taken care of, and the pictures she sent daily are worth framing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Wow. We were so lucky to have a sitter like Monique! She was incredible and from the very beginning, we knew our cats would be well taken care of. Monique is friendly and kind, and clearly loves animals. Monique was very responsive and had great communication and kept us updated with regular photos of the cats. She went above and beyond when any issues came up, with both the cats and the house. She was confident with applying medication to one of our cats and made sure to follow all our directions. The house was in perfect condition when we returned. We would LOVE to have her back, and highly recommend her to everyone!

Christie was super great! We got pictures and videos of our kitties. The house was nice and clean when we got home. We would definitely book Christie again.

Nino was the best sitter you could wish for our 2 little and energic kittens. Good communication before and during the sit, sent regularly updates/photos or videos, and the house was tidy when we came back. She even bought little Xmas presents for Tikka and Maki.

Jill was a wonderful pet and house-sitter for us, I really appreciated her photos and videos throughout our stay and the house was spotless when we returned home. We’d be happy to have her stay again!

Darcy was very responsive, took good care of Stanely and left my place tidy. Overall great and would def recommend.

We couldn’t have picked a better duo to be with Gus & Rosie while we were away. They not only took amazing care of the pups and our home, but have become friends. Communication was spot on and everything was immaculate. Pups were tired which is always a good sign of a good time. Hope we get to hang with them again in the future…wherever that is. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back…pups or not :)

This was the third time Jessie & Michael sat for us and we love having them here! They are great communicators, are so good with our dog Scout, and leave the house spotless. We'd welcome them back any time!
