Rebecca gave us proper instructions to take care of her two cats, Rainbow and Fluff, while she, her two children and husband were away and was also available by text and phone whenever we needed her. Her home was cozy and clean except the fridge freezer which needed some seeing to and there was only a small space on one shelf for our food when we arrived as it was quite packed. However we managed. Our room and bed were comfy and a king sheet was on the bed as requested as we bring our own queen bedding. Her two cats were adorable, well trained and full of fun and games - fetching and retrieving their toys for us to throw. They had their own cat flap which allowed them to come and go as they pleased and they always came home for dinner like clockwork. We did have a bit of an issue with the front door lock but managed to figure it out with the help her husband’s instructions via text and phone a call. Rebecca had also forgotten the exact dates and times for our scheduled stay but made sincere apologies for this and the issues above which were graciously accepted. Overall our stay was nice as we managed to work around those few issues that were presented.
A truly wonderful experience! Home,hospitality,comfort,friendly 4 legged family and location; all these boxes were ticked for us! From the moment we arrived, Judy and Tim welcomed us into their lovely home, putting us at ease with friendly conversation and tasty home cooked meal. Rory, a senior Westie and Socks, a young active Jack Russell are a good team and we enjoyed each other’s company. Pet care instructions were complete and easy to follow with a full support structure on hand if needed making it so easy for us to all work together. Portrush is a lovely and popular seaside destination with food, shopping and entertainment just a short dog walk away. So enjoy! Would we do it all again? Yes we would! At the drop of a hat!!
I loved my stay in Rochester, caring for Sparkle and Scampy! They were shy at first, but soon came out to interact. They are both playful and affectionate and were good company for the week. Nicola provided lots of detailed information about the cats, her home, and things to do and see in the area. She was very communicative and helpful, and her home is lovely! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend an opportunity to sit for Nicola.
I loved my sit at Deirdre and Ken’s place. The location is so beautiful with so many river walks, beaches and woods to explore, and I was made to feel incredibly welcome and at home. Alfie and Teddy are very great dogs and I had lots of fun with them on walks (Teddy loves his ball) and they are very gentle and loving at home. I would highly recommend this sit and thank Deirdre and Ken for making me so welcome and allowing me to explore such a beautiful part of the world.
We had the best time housesitting for Chris and JB! They were so kind and welcoming and communication with them was great. Muffy, Dolly and Twiggy are lovely to be around, easy to take care of and very sweet. The house is so beautiful and comfortable and Bourton-on-the-Water is also lovely. If you get the chance to sit for them definitely take it!
Beaumont and Gordon were the perfect pair to spend the weekend with! The backyard is great for playing ball and lounging in the sun, and there’s parks and trails right down the street for walking. Beautiful home, convenient location, and friendly pups made for a fun and enjoyable sit!
