Everything was great with Arabella! My cats were completely uninterested when I got home after a week, which is usually a good indication that they got lots of loves while I was gone. Everything was neat and tidy when I got back. Arabella even vacuumed the hair off of the sofa! I came home to a spotless house and happy "kids." What more could I ask for? Highly recommend.
A fabulous sit in a beautiful peaceful village in the most character filled home. We were amazed that the house was 200 years older than Australian settlement. Claire and Patrick were the most welcoming home owners who we met prior to the sit and Mavis and Toto were gorgeous little companions. Toto is too old now for walks and is practically blind and deaf but she knows here way around and still sought out our companionship whenever we changed rooms. She still loves her food and is not on any medication, hope we are as good at her age. Mavis was such a delight, she was with us constantly and loved attention and belly rubs and really looked forward to her walks. She was a good little walker but does have some issues with any dog she doesn’t know who dares to enter her circle. She does get over it quickly and moves on so it wasn’t a problem. One of the best sits we have done in the UK and we felt lucky to have been selected.
Julie was a fantastic host. She was prepared, thoughtful, and set aside time to give us a thorough tour and explanation of Nero's needs. It was especially helpful to go on a walk with Julie and Nero to see his favorite places and any potential hazards. He is nippy in play and when defending his toys or food, which is unusual (in my experience) for a grown dog (not a puppy), and ate everything he could when out for a walk - challenging! Nero was also cuddly and loved being around us - very social! Overall we had a great time in Essen.
Perfect location with two lovely kitties. Rebecca was always quick to communicate. The apartment could have been better prepared for a sitter- supplies could have left, floors and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Over all a great sit.
I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience! From the get go Alexandra was super friendly and easy to communicate with, I felt very welcomed at Poggiarello. I chose to stay in the ‘smaller’ (it’s huge to me!) flat, which was very cosy. The heated blanket on the sofa was just perfect for those winter nights too. The area is beautiful, and the sunsets from the house to die for. Now on to the main perk of the sit.. Baci! (Aka the Princess of Monteroni d’Arbia :) ) She’s such a sweetheart. She likes to explore during the day and cuddle in the evening, pure bliss! It’s been great getting to know her little personality. I’ve enjoyed many coffees in the garden with her by my side. I was sad to leave her, I can only hope I’ll see her little face again one day. Thanks again Alexandra for the opportunity to stay at Pogg with Baci, I’m very grateful 🙏
Ginnie and Bettie were so easy to look after! They happily do their own thing but come over for a pat and play every now and then. The house was great and in a good location to explore Cambridge. Harriet gave me all the information I would need for the sit. I would recommend this sit to any other sitters.
