Wilo is the most affectionate and talkative cat we have ever looked after!!! We have completely fallen in love with her. She is very punctual with her meals and enjoys being with you while you are cooking, watching TV or spending some time outside in the pool or doing the laundry. She even accompanied us while we were working and we couldn't be happier. We were also able to leave the house for several hours without worrying too much as she is a very well behaved cat. On the other hand Penny and Jon were amazing hosts, we shared a delicious dinner the first night and they were always on hand to provide us with every comfort. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. A car would be useful but not essential. 100% recommended! We would return in a heartbeat.
Ellie and Miles were such a dream. Ellie is super sweet and easy to care for and Miles is super kind, communicative and accommodating. The area is perfect - right next to Fort Greene park, great restaurants and bars and close-ish to trains but you've got everything you need in the area. Looking forward to the next time I can hang with Ellie!
This was a great sit! Taylor and Coco are two older dogs and so they are definitely lower-energy than other dogs you might sit for. Taylor warmed up to me quickly and was snuggling with me by day 2. Coco is definitely more withdrawn, but very cute! Be advised that Taylor in particular definitely needs regular walks to pee and poo every 2-4 hours - she seems to have a bit more irritable bowels than Coco, in my experience. But it's a good excuse to get out of the house! That said, the apartment was also great. It has comfy couches and a really comfortable bedroom, all set up with a huge projector perfect for evening streaming. Nathan was extremely clear about how to feed and care for the dogs, and communicative throughout - even in the midst of a busy family road trip down to Virginia! Would love to sit for C&T again. Definitely recommend!

Based on the reviews I reached out to secure services. I was extremely impressed with the prompt response and assurance they could take care of my special needs babes. Upon securing their services, Sherri (owner) and Nancy (Pet Caregiver) came to my home for a visit prior to my trip. They spent over an hour getting to know me and my babes and their routine. Much to my surprise, the services also included watering my plants!!!! These are truly genuine people who care for animals and will treat yours as if their own. I really appreciated the daily status text and pictures they sent! If you are in need of pet care, I highly recommend this team!
First class integrity! While searching for pet care for my parents two elderly dogs, one of whom had recently developed a back injury, Northside Pet Services stood out as exuding the trust, integrity, and experience we were looking for, so I called and left a message. The owner promptly returned my call to regretfully inform me that the dogs lived out of her service range, then took the time to provide some information on how and where to refine my search to find qualified sitters. She then went even further and took the time to search her network, later sending me information for a couple contacts who provided service in our area. Through one of those contacts, we were able to find someone who lives close and perfectly fits the dogs' needs. This is obviously someone who puts the health of pets first and foremost! I would have complete confidence in Sherri and her sitters and only wish the dogs lived close enough to utilize them.
Northside Pet Services has been a wonderful care team for our furry family members when we are out of town. As our one dog has progressed in age, it has become too stressful for her to be boarded at traditional facilities, and finding Northside Pet Services to provide care in our home while we are away, has been a dream. It is obvious that the owner and her team care deeply for our pets, and always have our pets' best interest at the top of everything they do. Most recently we were out of town for 21 days and Northside Pets provided top quality care 3 times per day the entire length of our time away, and we did not worry once. They provided frequent check-ins and updates to us and when we returned home, our dogs were happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Not only does Northside care for the dogs, but they also bring in our mail, feed the fish and frog, water our indoor plants, and they kept 25 pots of impatiens flourishing during a period of no rain.... all for no extra charge. I highly recommend Northside Pet Services and look forward to using them in the future.
I am so grateful to find this business. Our first consultation was perfect and helped ease my mind so much. We have a diabetic cat that needs extra tlc which has made getting away difficult for myself and my husband. Nancy was wonderful about communicating and she knew exactly how to handle each of our cats needs. I am really happy that I found Northside Pet Services. We have an older cat who is a bit persnickety and on multiple meds so we have to be a bit pickier about who we get to watch our cat. During our initial meet-up, Sherri proved to be very informed on our cat's course of treatment and even suggested a couple of additional things we could do to help her condition. It is a real comfort to know that she really knows what she's doing and could easily pick up on any worrisome signs while we are away.

I’ve had a great experience with overnight boarding and grooming here for my Wheaten Terrier, Benny, while I’ve been temporarily living in Indy for a travel contract. The groomer Misty is so kind and does a wonderful job. She did the best looking short length hair cut on my dog than he’s ever had. If we weren’t moving again soon I’d use Misty forever!
Great place for grooming and boarding services . They are always courteous and gentle with Sugar, my dog. The call with reminders, which is helpful if you need to update shot records. They keep the reception area clean. I have been to some that smelled like a kennel throughout. I added pics of sugar after her grooming. She is very relaxed and diva-ish afterwards.
My dog Apollo is pretty anxious since he’s an aussie but I’m anxious just because that me and our groomer was so knowledgeable about his breed, it immediately made me feel comfortable! This was my first visit and I do not love trying new groomers but she said apollo warmed up to her by the end and he look SO good! I’ll be back in 6 weeks for sure! Thank you so much!!
I can’t emphasize enough: DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE. YOUR PETS ARE NOT SAFE. They will repeatedly make mistakes, gas-light you, and then ultimately tell you that your business is no longer welcome there. Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and downright rude. I am not even going to dignify this with the details, but trust me it is not a good place and your pets are not safe in their care.
Had to pick up a client's fur baby to take him to an appointment and the staff there was awesome! So nice and respectful, the place was clean and you could tell the fur babies was happy! Highly recommend!

I have taken my dogs several times to this establishment. They have gotten good care. My dog was there recently and ended up with a horrible infection in his leg. He was fine when he went 4 days later he can't walk. Once I got him his leg was 3 x's it's normal size. I took him to the vet and got him antibiotics. I called the establishment and was not satisfied with our conversation. After having to take him again to the vet, I called and left a message explaining the cost I was incurring. No return call. My dog was so sick. I really thought I would have to put him down. ZERO response from the food dog spa. Very disappointed ! This happened on THEIR watch! I will not go back.

Always have a great experience when I drop off my dog. Staff is friendly and take excellent care of the pup, but try to upchsrge you on everything… including giving medicine to dog and checking in on them.

This is our dogs’ very favorite place in the world. They always know when it’s a daycare day and run for the car as soon as they finish breakfast so they can go play. Not only do they have a great time at daycare, they were also well trained by Jody and Hannah. We regularly get compliments on walks about how well behaved our dogs are, and it’s thanks to Downtown Doggie’s great trainers and continued work with them!
We are so happy we found Downtown Doggie. We are confident that Rudy is in good hands when he stays here. The staff knows Rudy by name and it’s reassuring how excited he is when we drop him off for daycare. Hanna is a great dog trainer and has helped Rudy immensely. We completed the obedience 101 class, which was a wonderful experience and our pup (5 months at the time we started) improved so much to become a better member in the household. Now, he’s very well behaved and great on the leash. We take him to daycare often and Finn loves going in! It’s fun seeing him on their Instagram posts at times!
my pup loves it there, and it’s very reassuring to know that when I pull into the parking lot she is excited to see her friends - pups and caretakers alike. I have utilized their grooming, daycare and boarding services. A time when my pup was not feeling her best they were very communicative, keeping me updated on her status while I was at work. Thankful to have them close to home and the office.
This is the best boarding for my old dog I’ve ever had, I travel for work sporadically and they always have space. I hope this review doesn’t change that. Very friendly staff, and my dog Walter loves their baths.
After I moved to the Holy Cross area I was so excited to find this wonderful dog daycare a few blocks from my house. My Australian Shepherd absolutely loves going here and looks forward to it every week. They take great care of him and I know he has had a good day when he comes home completely exhausted. I appreciate that they take the time to get to know your dog, each staff member knows my little guy by name and each staff member is just as excited as my pup is when we walk in the door. I always recommend this daycare for anyone with high energy dogs like mine. I know that he is getting exercise while I am at work and he is not stuck at home all day by himself. 10/10 if you are thinking about taking your dog to daycare do it, this is the best part of my pups week!
Mazie loves to go to downtown doggie. She gets more excited as we get closer. I’ve had her groomed & nails trimmed also and Mazie always looks great.
Heavenly Care Kennels was amazing for boarding our very anxious French Bulldog. We’ve had some not so good boarding experiences with other places in the past and we’re very hesitant to board our pup but HCK came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Upon reaching out, the owner Cindy was prompt and thorough in answering all my questions and offered for us to come in for a tour and a meet and greet with our pup. After leaving the tour, we felt an immediate sense of relief in that we knew we found somewhere we could trust with our pup and her special needs. We first boarded our pup for 2 nights over the weekend and she came back home happy and healthy! During her stay, Cindy provided updates throughout the day and kept in touch to let us know how the days were going. I could not recommend Heavenly Care Kennels enough!! They truly care about your pet as if it were their own and listen to all instructions and needs of your pet. Thank you Cindy and Matt for taking such great care of our Lola! We look forward to Lola’s next stay here!!
We have two dogs: a Goldendoodle and an Old English Sheepdog. The Goldendoodle, Winnie, is literally the best dog (best friend) a man could want. She goes almost everywhere with me. But she couldn't go with me on a recent family vacation to Walt Disney World. And the family that usually watches her for us is aging and it didn't feel right to send here there. So, for the first time ever, we boarded her (with Millie, our Sheepdog puppy) at Heavenly Care Kennels. Everything about the experience was top notch! They first invited us for a tour of their facility. Then they invited us to bring the dogs for a tour of the facility. While we were away, they sent us pictures of the dogs running, playing, and lounging, putting my mind at ease about boarding Winnie for the first time. The folks at Heavenly Care Kennels will care for your furry family members as if they were their own. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Heavenly Care Kennels was an amazing place to board our pups! The center was clean and had lots of space for the dogs to roam. I got pictures and updates from the staff throughout my trip. It was our first time boarding, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.
I recently found HCK after having a really bad experience at another kennel. I was a little hesitant to try another kennel, and I found this one through an internet search. I first looked at the reviews and was impressed so I decided to call. They were so friendly, even taking the time to ask my dog's names. They suggested bringing they by to meet them and give the dogs a chance to explore the new place. I was instantly sold. The love and compassion for dogs was so obvious with Cindy and Matt, the owners. The entire staff was amazing. They are a little different type of kennel, not your typical run with inside and outside space. The dogs stay in different rooms of the house with no cages. They have two beautiful outdoor play areas, even with shade. It is definitely a home away from home. I have two Boston Terriers that have anxiety around a lot of barking dogs so Cindy makes sure they stay in a room that is quiet and best for them. They offer so many additional services, my favorite (and the dog's) is Cuddle Time, where they hang out in the living room on the couch and get lots of attention! They also text you photos during their stay and are always available for any questions or concerns during their stay. I am so glad that I found this place, I can't recommend it enough! Thank you Cindy, Matt and your entire staff for all that you do!
We ran out of options for our fur babies and had a very important family vacation coming up! Heavenly Care Kennels took care of us and made our worries go away! We love this place. The owners and employees are super awesome. Our dog got diarrhea while we left him there. They grabbed meds and switched him to rice with chicken diet to ease our puppy. Incredible service. They do haircuts too that our dog seems to enjoy. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
This is the best groomer I have used for my two dogs, they are booked far out, so it’s hard to get in and then it is wise to book subsequent appointments to avoid a long wait. They are very reasonably priced. The dogs leave happy and looking good. They do a superior job here and are a pleasure to interact with.
We used Heavenly Care for many years for our dog, Molly. They always took great care of her. The owners are involved in the day-to-day business and their staff are caring and easy to work with. We also took advantage of their in-home services recently as Molly was elderly and wasn’t in good enough shape to be transported back and forth to the kennel. They were great with her and provided us with updates and photos. Highly recommend Heavenly Care if you’re looking for a loving, trustworthy place to leave your pet.
We love Heavenly Care! They have taken such wonderful care of our two bassets, Flossie and Millie. One of my favorite things about them is they “feel” - the physical setting (homey) and their team are fantastic. They’re a one-stop shop between daycare, boarding, grooming, etc. We’d trust them to do anything and everything!
My husband and I live an hour away from heavenly care kennels and would be willing to drive there again and again for the great care they gave to our poodle puppy. It is hard leaving your pup for the first time and heavenly care made me feel really confident and comfortable in leaving my dog there. It is exceptionally clean and very well organized. would recommend to everyone!
Darlene and Rick took great care of our dog Tucker for a long stay of 11 days. Tucker was happy and healthy and he clearly had a wonderful time at Almost Home! Darlene reached out with updates and she even gave Tucker a nice bath before we picked him up. Can't recommend Almost Home highly enough!
Kennel service for my dog AND cat! Very efficient, extremely sanitary, and well organized family run business. Always have answers and have been clear about rules, fees, and pick-up times. Be sure to confirm reservations as requested. Book well in advance, too. Most of all? Our pets look forward to going to Almost Home! A vacation for them, too! Our dog gets so excited, once we make the turn to the kennel, she starts to yelp and become giddy! She NEVER misses us! (Our cat just tries to act surly...not because of the kennel's great care...because she is a cat who thinks she has to keep attitude because we needed to board her. Wonderful experience with Almost Home for several reasons - caring owners, convenient location, well-maintained and clean facility. We are so happy with the care our dogs received while staying at Almost Home. We have used other larger kennels in the past and our dogs would come home having lost weight, stressed, and tired. Our dogs came home from Almost Home happy and excited, rested and well fed, and they smelled great. We have already booked with them for all our 2024 travel. Highly recommend.

Almost Home is by far the best boarding in the Carmel/Westfield area!!! They always take such great care of our 2 boys: senior dachshund and young mini Aussie. Our dogs have stayed with them 2 or 3 trips now. Both of our boys have extreme separation anxiety and one takes medication twice a day. They are always really happy and clean when we pick them up which is the complete opposite of what they were like when we picked them up from another nearby kennel. We are tremendously grateful to find Almost Home and would trust them with all of our fur babies. 💛
I have boarded my dogs here many times. Only place I will use. Darlene and Rick are wonderful people. They have indoor/outdoor runs for all dogs. You can get outside play time for your dogs too. Their home is attached to the kennel so there is someone there all the time. Especially at night. I hate places that leave all the dogs alone over night, very scary to me. I highly recommend Almost Home for your pet boarding needs.
If you are looking for an amazing experience for your pets, this is it! We moved cross country and our pet transport was being difficult to work with. They called out of the blue and said they had to drop off early. When we called Almost Home they were unbelievably understanding and without asking said they'd do anything they could to help us knowing the situation, when they didn't have too. Then, when we went to get our dog (had a car too), the pet transport somehow let our dog get sprayed by a skunk. We called Almost Home and they immediately researched how to get rid of the smell and ended up giving her two baths and cleaned the tags, etc for us. Again, they went above and beyond what they had to do. They could have easily said, "Sorry, we can't have her (or the cat) now," but that's not them at all! When we had to extend the stay by a couple of days due to delays with our home, again they were unbelievable. This will be our kennel forever. You absolutely couldn't ask for a better kennel for your pets. They are responsive, very communicative and always want to do what is best for your pets. Oh, by the way, they also have great tips for traveling if you love history! Your pets will absolutely love their care!
This is an amazing place! My English Bulldog isnt a pet, he is our baby! Rick and Darlene made us feel at east leaving him. They allow a tour before booking and are very thorough in everything they offer. Our bully is on lots of meds and they cared for the med distribution without extra fees. Very clean & no smell. We will never board elsewhere. This is the first time we have ever boarded that I actually didn't worry about him the entire vacation! Highly recommended facility!

My Aussie, Yuki, and I did a ratting try it at the Limestone Cluster yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing! I was nervous because I had no experience with ratting and had never taken my dog to a show before at all. I thought she might be too over aroused to give it a shot, but I was very wrong. Melinda patiently explained everything as we went and got Yuki to the point of doing a practice that simulated an instinct trial. And Yuki absolutely loved it. Melinda and Kyle are very responsible and responsive to questions or care needs that come up without a lot of notice. My dog adores them and I know he's safe and having a blast. She’s taken wonderful care of him since he was a puppy-he’s now 7 and just follows her wherever she goes. Melinda has a lot of experience with training and animals so I trust her judgement on how she runs having multiple dogs over.

We love Urban Uplander!! Melinda and Kyle are the best and our fur babies couldn’t agree more! We have used them for drop in visits, daycare, and boarding. They have also tended to the needs of our sweet old diabetic kitty cat on several occasions. Trust is the most important thing to me, and I know I can trust the Urban Uplander crew to always give 110% to our animals. Something as simple as getting snap shots of the dogs while we are out of town gives me so much comfort. I know they are happy, playing with friends and well cared for.

Eva is very conscientious about doing all that I asked her to do with my dog and two cats while I was out of town. She was very good at communicating with me while I was gone by giving me updates! I would highly recommend Eva

We LOVE Chris and Jose!!! And our dogs love them more!!! My dog goes crazy every time we pull up. I’m really glad I found them, because their love for dogs is what drives their business. I know my dogs are in the best care possible when I need to travel, work, etc. And the best thing is they come home tired after an active day. Their grooming services also never disappoint. They do such a good job every visit.
I found them online and there was quite a wait to get in but after the reviews I figured it was worth a shot. They did such a good job with our GG girl. It was her first time being groomed and when I picked her up she didn't seem phased at all, not scared, just a happy little girl. And she looked SO adorable!! I left the style in their hands, as they are the professionals, plus not knowing what a Cavapoo should look like and they knocked it out of the park. Plus, her fur was as soft as a feather. I highly recommend.
They did an awesome job on our Brandi. She must have been very comfortable with them. Glad we found our new groomer.

Amazing! Jose and Chris are animal lovers and it shows! I took my sweet boy in for a nail trim and file. They did much better than Petsmart, and for a better price. My dog hates pedicures, but loved Jose and Chris so much he didn’t want to leave when they were done. I would HIGHLY recommend them to take care of your fur babies!
The owners Chris and Jose were outstanding! Very gentle and loving towards my 4 month old Mini Schnauzer. They gave my dog his first haircut. They said he was a gentle boy and did extremely well. His haircut looks awesome, his ears and nails were taken care of as well. Sent him home wearing a Halloween bowtie. We have found groomers for life. Good job guys!
Chris and Jose are the absolute best groomers! They are so friendly and you can tell how much they love the pets! The pets love them too :) my golden retriever Lucy is two years old and they always make her look and smell great! She loves going there. One of the big things I like about them is when my husband and I are working they will watch her all day too! You really can’t beat their prices! I would recommend to anyone!
Circle City Pet Care is wonderful! I had my little guy at another groomer for months they said he needed to be sedated etc., they could never trim his nails and he was such a behavior problem. Chris groomed my Havanese for the first time without sedation and did a wonderful job. You can tell they love the dogs and that allows the dogs to trust and love them. I’m sold on Circle City Pet Care!

My worst nightmare was what would I do with my cat if I suddenly ended up in the hospital (I live alone). My family couldn't help because they were with me, neighbors can only do so much, and not many people understand why you can't just leave a cat home alone and have someone come feed her. Would you leave your child alone all night? Well, it happened, my neighbor took the first night until we could get Comfort Zone on board. Charlotte was my sitter and she was really great. An animal lover for sure! She communicated regularly, sent pictures of my cat. It was so reassuring. I wasn't worried about my cat at all, which is quite a statement! I will always request Charlotte if she's available. My home was left in the same condition it was when I left it. You couldn't tell Charlotte had been here. She played with Sybbie a lot...more than I do, so she raised that bar for me!! ANYTHING you may be worried about hiring a pet sitter, if you hire Comfort Zone Sitters, you can put those worries away! Max and the team (Mica!) are truly a huge savior for us. With five cats, it is so difficult to travel. The Comfort Zone Sitters have been watching the furry children for us for over 2.5yr at this point and we couldn’t be more happy. They are always reliable, prompt, and the cats LOVE them. We have always had amazing sitters and now Mica is our regular and she takes time to play with the cats, give them lots of love, and make sure everything is good with them. I have used this service multiple times over the past two years. They have excellent communication, with an awesome app which makes it easy to see pup updates. All the sitters have been great. My dogs are rescue pups and can be timid, but all the sitters we have had, have been so caring and gentle, always winning them over each time. I will continue to use this service and recommend it to anyone with pets especially if your pup is not good with normal boarding. 10/10 recommend 😁

Leanne has been caring for my furkids when we travel for more than 11 years. She’s caring, conscientious and capable. Leanne always goes above and beyond in both her care for our pets and her communication with us. I cannot recommend her highly enough. (I also secretly suspect that our pets prefer her to us!)
Leanne was absolutely wonderful with our cats when we were out of the county for two weeks. She sent us periodic updates, including pictures and videos that really put our minds at ease. We were confident that our cats would be looked after and loved while we were away, and they absolutely were. Leanne also administered oral medication to one of our cats, which, as cat mums know, isn't always the easiest thing to do. Leanne is extremely professional and pleasant. There is never a doubt in your mind that she won't follow through. Couldn't recommend her more!
Leanne is the BEST! She has stayed with my 2 cats many many times. I have a very old cat, Tigger, who requires alot of extra special attention. Tigger will only eat fresh turkey from the deli. Leanne has went and bought him fresh turkey while I was gone to make sure that he eats. My other cat, Elsie, is somewhat "aloof" with most people, but Leanne kept trying and now Elsie will actually let her pet her! I know that when I am gone, my kitties might miss me, but they are loved by Leanne and I know they are loved back and that she can take care of anything that they need. I would highly recommend Leanne!
Leanne is the best pet sitter ever! My boys are high energy siamezers that can be a handful sometimes but Leanne knows how to make them comfy while we are away. I can go on vacation knowing the boys are safe and happy.

I cannot recommend walk n wag more. Elise and Laura really go out of their way to make sure that my fur kids have what they need while I am at work. They both have been so flexible and I can tell my dogs have had a good day when they stop in
Elise and Matt are fantastic! Matt is our regular walker and takes such good care of our pup and kitty. He goes above and beyond, recently rescuing us on a Saturday night after having locked ourselves out (he has a key). Not only that, when he got here, he asked if pup needed a quick walk! Can not recommend Walk n Wag enough, they truly care about your pets and you.
Elise is AMAZING!! She's been walking my moody but loving old man Izak for over a year now. Before her, we went through 5-6 other walkers. Elise is patient, prompt, and just wonderful with Izak. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a walker!
Elise is wonderful! She is flexible with scheduling, very responsible and communicative, and Bosley, our dog, loves her! She leaves daily notes that provide a cute update on what she and Bosley did on their walk and lets us know what time she stopped by.
