Abigail and Bob left us a lovely gift package before the stay (wine, snacks and beer), and they also went out of their way to do a full walk through of the house to ensure we felt comfortable with all the pets, location of items and daily tasks. A beautiful, quaint little spot in Hereford, somewhere we probably would never have visited if not for this sit! Very peaceful and enjoyed the fireplace snuggling with Indi their gorgeous pup.
Julie is a lovely and generous host and her home is a Florida jungle dream. Each of the animals are loving individuals with distinct personalities, I had an amazing time getting to know each of them.
Had such a joy house sitting in Simons beautiful house with adorable Kiwi! Kiwi was a wonderful dog to look after she was very easy and cuddly ❤️ The house was very clean and welcoming and we were provided all information needed to have a great stay! The family are so lovely and able to help you with anything you need. Would love to housesit with Kiwi again 🥝
We can't thank Kimberly and Jeff enough for giving us the opportunity to truly experience the island life in an amazing way. They live on a picturesque hillside with daily ocean sunsets. That is the setting for the life of these amazing two dogs, Kalani and Kaimana. We loved living their energy! In the mornings we enjoyed daily excursions on their well-known hiking paths along the shores. If there is swimming be prepared for after beach care. We loved that though, too! They are beautiful, patient, and affectionate dogs. After breakfast the boys are content, yet still playful with resting times throughout the remainder of the day. The neighbors were all very friendly and kind. It was nice to see some of the same faces in our daily passings or at sunset down by the beach. We had plenty of time to island explore, but also enjoyed not needing to rush and go anywhere! This was a short notice, last minute house sitter need. With that, Kimberly and Jeff were super organized and accommodating to take the time necessary to prepare us appropriately to care for their house and dogs. It was sad to say goodbye to those dogs. We know we had a gift of an experience living island life with Kalani and Kaimana. We hope the opportunity arises again for us to return. Thank you so much, Kimberly and Jeff!
We arrived the afternoon before Roger and Anne left on their holiday and they immediately made us feel at home. We were made to feel so welcome in the village and especially by Roger and Anne's friends two doors down. We even got involved in helping out at a concert in the village church. There is a great community shop with cafe. There are so many places to visit within easy reach as well as local walks nearby. The roads in and out of the village are narrow and winding, you soon get used to reversing when needed! Bella is a gentle, loving elderly lab who is not so keen on walking too far these days but is very happy to be taken out in the car with you. The chickens are very easy to care for. Roger left very comprehensive instructions on appliances particularly the wood pellet stove but we had no issues whatsoever during our stay.
