Mandy and her friend that came were lovely people, they instantly took to Noodles the dog and it was clear they knew how to look after animals. We had no problems during the sit, all went well and the house was nice and tidy when we arrived home. Good communication throughout, i would definitely recommend them and use them again as pet sitters

Evelyn & Stephen

Evelyn and her family sat for us for a week. Evelyn sent wonderful pictures of Jessica, who looked like she was having a great time. Jessica was very happy when we got back from our break, thank you Evelyn for taking care of our fury friend, and thank you Matilda for keeping her company.

Shauna and Mark and their children were really lovely. Very organised and were fantastic with our animals. They sent me updates to let me know how the dogs were getting on while I was away, which was very reassuring. I would recommend them as housesitters.

Julia & Stephen

Julia, Steve and family were great pet sitters!!! We can’t fault them. Julia was easy to communicate with and kept in regular contact before and during the sit. Unfortunately they broke down on their way to our house but they are super capable and dealt with it efficiently and easily despite not being in their home country and arrived with minimal delay. Our home was left clean and tidy, even our bedding had been washed and put back on the beds when we arrived home, and we had been left baked treats in the fridge 😄. The dogs were happy and healthy and had received lots of cuddles from Julia’s two boys. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this family again and hope they will come back this way soon. Im sure we will be keeping in touch!

Meg

It was lovely to meet Meg on FaceTime and for the handover. Meg was happy to be here for when we left and Meg and John stayed as long as they could on the last day as we weren’t getting back until late, which was so helpful and meant the animals weren’t on their own for too long. It was great to receive updates over the weekend and to know our pets were being looked after well. Meg and John were very self sufficient, getting the train here and getting out and about over the weekend. It was great to come back to the washing done and hanging out to dry too!

Bay

Bay looked after our 1 year old cat Derek for the weekend. She was extremely organised and reliable. We had the pleasure of meeting her before we left and we knew Derek would be in good company. Bay kept us updated with photos of Derek whilst we were away and we returned to a tidy home and a happy kitkat 😊

Georgia & Clement

Georgia exceeded all of our expectations. She seemed to understand how nice it is to get frequent updates about our kitty Eli. This included posts in WhatsApp with pictures and messages. It was clear the loved kitties and Eli loved her. I felt like we made a friend from "across the pond" . I hope our paths cross again someday.

Helen

Helen came to visit us for 2.5 weeks over Christmas, and was a lovely house sitter! I swear our cat, Beryl, barely noticed we were leaving; she was comfortable with Helen very quickly after arrival. Helen has a calming atmosphere which was perfect. Helen also respected that Beryl is not the most friendly, and gave the space needed for Beryl to warm up to her. I got photos as often as I asked for them, and updates about how Beryl would get comfortable enough to give head bumps and purr when scratch (an achievement!). There was a small medical issue, and Helen let me know right away, working with me to make sure I had all the details to make the best decision for Beryl. As a house sitter, she was very tidy! She had stripped the bedding and washed it before our return, the place was mopped, and the kitchen was as we had left it. Helen would be welcome back at any time to visit Beryl. :)

Jools & Stuart

Jools and Stuart were fantastic. We were lucky to get them at short notice, we happened to be on their way back from holiday! Communication was great, the house was very clean and tidy on our return and the dogs extremely happy. We would definitely use again. Thank you Jools and Stuart.

Karina came to look after my 3 year old Collie cross and she was fantastic. Collies can be difficult to handle so I was apprehensive about leaving him but my mind was quickly put at ease as Karina showed she was more than capable of handling him in the first couple of days. Barbara

Barbara is a very friendly, highly organised and welcoming host. She has a beautiful home in a fantastic location which made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay made all the better due to easy to follow notes about the care of her cats and home. Her very beautiful cats are an absolute delight and whom we miss already. We very much recommend Barbara as a host and  hope we can return in the future.

Ben & Sasha

Ben and Sasha‘s place was wonderful and Gracie Bell is a dream to take care of. She is super chill, cuddling up with us on the couch in the evenings. When she did want to go outside, she stayed close to the house and enjoyed her little cat garden. We loved hanging out with her out on the lovely back patio in the sun! The house is very clean and with a super comfy guest bed and bathroom. There’s so much to do in Santa Fe: history, markets, hiking, even hot spring spas. And the food is second to none. Ben and Sasha were great communicators, quickly entering questions and giving us great recommendations. We would do this sit again in a second!

Olivia

What a wonderfully perfect house sit. Olivia and family were more than welcoming and I had the most enjoyable evening with them all prior to their departure very early the following morning and I didn't hear a thing!  The fridge was bursting, which was most unexpected and very much appreciated.

Polo was a total and absolute delight; gentle kind and easy to walk.  She was perfect when meeting other dogs (and people) - very sociable and very friendly.  Such an gorgeous girl, that I could've happily tucked into my suitcase!   

It was great to have a few walks straight from the house, but being such a beautiful part of the country there were also numerous bridleways through stunning countryside and along the river at Pangbourne.  Spoilt for choice.

I can't thank Olivia and family enough for making me feel so welcome and for their generosity and I can't thank Polo enough for being so lovely.  A wonderful sit that I can't recommend enough.
