We had a very relaxing stay at Gary & Gairns beautiful country home in the village of Upham. Our schedule meant we would not meet on the day so we were warmly welcomed when we popped in the week before to meet them and their two delightful kitties Kazi & Toto. Gary provided an extensive welcome package where everything is nicely explained and we had a tour of the home and a run through of everything. The cats are both real beauties, very independent and very easy to care for. Kazi is the bolder of the two and after a couple of days adjustment he was very vocal and cuddly and absolutely loved being brushed! Toto is very shy and timid and during our short stay it was only the last day when he allowed the first stroke! We were given a lovely, very comfortable, room with en suite and we really enjoyed the comfort and luxury everywhere in their spacious home and beautiful garden. Their village is very quaint and pretty and so peaceful. We discovered some beautiful walks straight from the door. And for shopping etc Winchester and Southampton are only short drives away. Gary & Gairn are excellent hosts and communication was easy and efficient. We can highly recommend this Sit and would happily return.
Sitting for Sarah, Paul & their family was a dream. First, they are the among nicest and most loving folks I’ve ever met. Their home is lovely and in a beautiful neighborhood. Caring for Mel, Minnie, and Violet was exactly as described in the detailed welcome guide. The pets easily melted my heart and it was hard to leave when the sit was over. I would love to sit for this family again and highly recommend for other sitters in the Houston area.
It was an absolute pleasure looking after Ruffie over the weekend. She is a very affectionate and well behaved dog. Elaine gave us a tour of the house and surroundings along with our well appointed accommodation. We enjoyed our time with Ruffie and hope for another opportunity to look after her.
Had a lovely stay at Isabel's spacious place with her lovely cats. Elche is a charming city. All the best with your sabbatical, Isabel, I hope it's filled with adventure and discovery.
Bobby is a great owner. He was very kind with and the apartment is very modern, has everything you need. On the other hand, Bennie is just the best! Don’t freak out if the first day he gets very anxious and jumps all the time😅 he is just excited. The next days he calms down. And also he is an excellent walker! He doesn’t bark and just mind his business
A lovely cosy new year
