Great location, beautiful home. Connie and Paul gave us a really warm welcome while we got to know their furbies routines. 5 gorgeous cats 🐈 each with very different personalities. We had a glorious time visiting Basel and Colmar and enjoying the Christmas Markets and when we returned we had our 5 feline friends to greet us. I have to agree with the previous reviews, that Capri & Cozmo are a very entertaining pair! They love playing together, sleeping together and sun bathing. They’re really sweet dogs and very easy to care for as they don’t need walks, but they love attention, pets and playtime. Every day, we spent as much time as possible outside, depending on the weather and heat. Natasha and Corey were great to communicate with and their home is extremely clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay!
We had the pleasure of sitting for Daphne in her beautiful home with the two dogs, Kip and Sunny and the two cats, Otis and Skunk. The home is a wonderful residence and due to the extremely hot temperatures during our sit, the pool in the yard was a welcome addition. Walking the dogs was a breeze, there's trails very close by and also a beach which is dog friendly about 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Sunny is a water dog by nature and loved the lake, Kip is not so fond of the water, but excels on the trails, constantly retrieving a stick, a ball, a pine cone or whatever you care to throw for him. Due to the extreme temperatures we made sure to get them out for their exercise early and the rest of the day they were content to be in the shade in the garden, Sunny taking a dip in the pool when he was feeling hot. We carried water for the dogs to drink during our hikes, but the trail does have a water bowl at one point which someone has installed against an adjacent bench which is dedicated to a passed dog. We took this opportunity to let the dogs drink and replenished the water from that which we carried. Daphne also provided a collapsible bowl for extra drink breaks for the dogs and they were grateful for it. Even early morning hikes saw hot temperatures. The cats are very self sufficient, both would wander the yard, Skunk would also wander further afield and return when he was hungry. We ensured we gave Daphne daily updates on all the pets and property welfare and she was always timely in her responses. There would be no hesitation in our sitting for Daphne again, providing the dates fit into our schedule, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
What a lovely home! Amanda and Joel’s place was clean, cozy and left with really clear and detailed instructions. Axel is such a sweet and excitable pup. He was so happy to hang out, play and cuddle.
The only bad part of leaving this sit was having to leave the awesome pets behind. From the moment we met the dogs and guineas, we had an incredible time. Such sweet and fun pets all around. Additionally, Miranda's home is quaint and clean in a nice quiet neighborhood. Miranda's care instructions were perfect and her cookies were a plus! We will be visiting Denver regularly and hopefully we can stay again and enjoy the sweet pets!
