Sue and Simon made me feel totally at ease in their home. I was able to spend time with my family in Horsham and it was lovely to hear my 7 year old grandson's laughter as he and Holly enjoyed playing together. Holly was good company, easy to care for, especially when out and about, from woodland walks off the lead to pub lunches. Well socialised with children and other dogs. An enjoyable housesit!
One of the best housesits I’ve done- Juno is the sweetest, easiest dogs to care for. I loved bringing her on endless hikes and coming back home to enjoy the back garden. Will definitely care for Juno again if I get the chance!
David and Lauren's home is a tranquil spa-like oasis nestled in NE Portland. It's cozy woodsy vibe is warm, calm, and so inviting. Dave and Lauren are both excellent communicators about their needs for the care of their home and pets. Their two pups, Addie and Rue, are the sweetest and smartest little love bugs! My ESA dog and I immediately fell in love with Addie and Rue and they quickly became a part of our pack. We played and cuddled together all day long and we miss the girls terribly already! Anyone who has the opportunity to stay at Dave and Lauren's home and spend time with Addie and Rue will truly be the luckiest.
Thank you Stacey and Rani for the stay. The house is nice and comfortable, they were nice to make space for my 10 year old daughter to sleep. The cats are very chill, its a shame they had to stay separated since Digit does not care for Rashi. Other than that, they are super easy to take care of. The neighborhood is very clean/quiet/safe/walkable. You dont even feel like you’re so close to the city! They do have a man living downstairs in their basement so thats something to consider esp being mindful of noise after 9:00pm.
We had a wonderful time housesitting for Devin and Jae! They are such a warm, welcoming, fun couple! They gave us a tour before heading off on vacation, and were excellent with communication as needed throughout. Buddy and Mama were a dream to sit for. Both kitties are so easy going, friendly, and cuddly! During the day you'll find Mama lounging on her heated blanket and Buddy bounding around outside, both joining periodically for snacks and cuddles on the couch. In the evening they'll keep you cozy with bedtime snuggles! Devin and Jae's farmhouse is very cute! They have done a beautiful modern renovation; we had everything we needed at the house! There is also a hot tub, and a lovely patio area for sunny days. As for location, funny enough our car broke down a few days before the sit, and so we got our steps in and became familiar with the local bus routes. It's about a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus followed by a 20 minute ride which takes you into Langley city, where all your amenities are. We would recommend bringing a car to ease getting around, although we managed fine with bussing, grocery delivery, occasional take out, and kind ride offers from their lovely family next door! All in all, we really enjoyed our sit and would certainly recommend Devin and Jae for any housesitter! We would happily sit for them again!
