We had a fantastic time on this sit. David and Doug were very welcoming from the start and their stylish and well-organised apartment is very centrally located for exploring Barcelona, within very easy walking distance of Casa Battlo, La Pedrera and the Ramblas. Their cats Callie and Zena were an absolute pleasure to care for. We have never looked after such friendly and affectionate cats who genuinely enjoyed their pats and spending time with us. We were sad to leave them and this wonderful home. We'd gladly sit for David and Doug (and Callie and Zena) again.
This was by far my favorite house sit so far! Martha and Michael were such great people, they went out of their way to accommodate me from the second I arrived and did multiple things to make sure I felt comfortable for the duration of my stay, providing me with multiple things in the house, providing great recommendations of the city (yoga, vegan places, things to see). They were unbelievably generous and I really enjoyed getting to know both of them. They also were great about giving clear communication and instructions for everything needing to be taken care of. I absolutely fell in love with Umby and Scamp. Umby took a bit to warm up but once he did I couldn't get enough of him. They are easy to care for and such a joy to be around! They have such fun, playful personalities and so affectionate that it really made it hard for me to leave. As far as location Martha and Michael's house is in such an awesome place for exploring while feeling safe. They are right next to the heart of downtown Denver in a gorgeous house and I felt so comfortable there I was able to walk around by myself as a single female. Transportation is so convenient, they are close to buses and everything so it made getting around so smooth and quick. I cannot recommend them enough and if they pop up for a house sit definitely jump at the opportunity to spend time in this sweet little oasis. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat! The experience was incredible. Georgi is so nice and we felt so comfortable the whole time. Ponyo and Sushi are the best company, sweet and behave so good. You can take Sushi everywhere with you since he is very calm and loves to walk around with you. We enjoyed every single day of the sit and the are just loving. We are very grateful to Georgi for the opportunity and for being so kind to us! We highly recommend the experience!!
Fiona was amazing, I miss her so much! She is well behaved, smart and beautiful. I loved taking photos of her (her colours are gorgeous). Lindsay was open minded, thoughtful, flexible and very welcoming. The decoration of the appartment was very artistic and the library absolutely fascinating. Thank you so much for your trust Lindsay.
Benji, Cassie, and Poppet are some of the sweetest pups you'll ever meet. Once they warm up to you, they are so eager to turn every visit to the couch into a cuddle puddle. They are well behaved both in the house and out on walks and I had no challenges taking care of them. We were able to visit Danielle before the housesit started and she gave my partner and I very thorough walkthrough of the home and what the dogs needed. Her home is well equipped with anything you might need for a stay. I really appreciated that she let me use her desk set up for me to work from. Her home is located in a quiet residential area but there are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. It's easy to get into central Amsterdam via a 20 minute tram ride to go and explore the city a bit more. I would gladly sit for Danielle again and would recommend this housesit for others as well!
Karen's house was very comfortable to do a pet sit in. Her cat was super sweet when around....lol...he somewhat kept to himself except when it was food time ;-) That was totally fine. You'd be very happy to do a sit for Karen in her wonderful home. She has a great kitchen, garage to park your car in and a spacious backyard with patio one can choose to lounge on if you desire.
