I cannot say enough great things about Bill and Tammy! They house sat for my dog Bailey for nearly two months while I was away in Europe. I could not have asked for better care for her! They gave Bailey all the love and attention that an elderly dog needs, and sent me regular updates, adorable photos, and videos of her which helped ease my mind while I was away. They also went above and beyond by repairing the damage that Bailey caused when she knocked the doggie gate out of the wall. When I returned home, everything was clean and in perfect order, which was such a relief after being away for so long. I highly recommend Bill and Tammy for anyone looking for reliable and caring housesitters. They truly treated Bailey as if she were their own and I am so grateful for the excellent care they provided!
Calvin is such a calm and gentle sweetheart! Easily one of the most soft-spoken cats I have ever had the joy of taking care of. The tasks were very simple, giving Calvin his medicine, feeding him, etc. He is very communicative with his soft meows when he wants to go out on the balcony or wants attention and especially when he wants treats! The apartment is really close to the airport so it was super easy to take the taxi from. It’s around a 10-15min walk to the nearest mall which has loads of restaurants, cinema, bowling etc. and right next to their apartment is a grocery store which was super convenient for getting groceries. Shifa and Suheim were super helpful when we had any questions or needed anything. Thank you for a lovely stay!
A very welcoming family with great animals. The house is lovely and well equipped in a quiet street near lots of walks. Joanna made sure I had plenty of information about the animals and the area and was happy to answer any questions that came up along the way. Highly recommended.
This sit went well. Phil & Cilla were kind and welcoming upon my arrival, and had asked me to arrive a couple days earlier so they could show me their routine as far as caring for the animals, house, plants, and the pool. There are quite a bit of things to do and remember, to keep the house tidy and all the animals taken care of, so if you are still working a remote job/doing anything else with your time while house sitting, you will be busy throughout the sit. If you are just one person you’ll need to go on 2 walks a day, so you can walk all 3. The dogs are loving and friendly, and desire a lot of attention. The cats have 2 very different personalities, both are funny and adorable. They were easy to care for, but do have to be kept separate and changed over/fed 4x a day. The home is nice and spacious, with a pool out back which was great. The pool was fairly easy to care for once I understood what it needed and when. Fort myers beach is 25 mins away and was obviously amazing to go to. Overall this was a good sit with consistent communication despite any time difference we had.
This was one of the nicest sits we have done since we started house sitting back in 2013. Ollie and Bertie are absolute sweethearts, really friendly dogs. Bertie loves a belly rub and Ollie will keep you company, especially in the kitchen. Ollie, being older, prefers a gentler walk where he can sniff around and Bertie loves the exercise. Bedtime and feeding routines are easy and straighforward. The house is very confortable and warm and we particularly enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. There is an enclosed garden where the dogs can play and snooze in the sun. Sadly the village pub is currently closed but if you enjoy coastal walks, hidden coves and exploring, then the local area will not disapoint. Michelle and Steve are so lovely and caring. Communication was easy and regular despite the time difference. We do not want to recommend this sit because we hope we are invited back! ;)
Kathy was great with communication, made sure I felt welcome in her home and could find my way around easily. Panda and Shanti are exactly as described, incredibly sweet where Panda loves to cuddle and Shanti needs a little time to warm up to you, but she definitely loves a bit attention and back scratches - they're both beautiful sweethearts. The house was clean, inviting and accommodating located right on the edge of a lovely park for hiking for anyone interested, shops are nearby. Thanks Kathy, Panda and Shanti!
I had a great time cat sitting for Nanis and Phillip’s two Burmese kitties. They were a joy and pleasure to care for. Their home is very comfortable and the area is quiet with bald eagles to watch in the neighborhood! Nanis and Phillip left detailed instructions in the care of their kitties and house and made me feel at home right when I arrived. The use of their car was very helpful to get groceries, go for hikes and sightsee. Much appreciated! I recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys kitties and a quiet neighborhood!
