Stephen and Annette are the best! From the minute they turned up I could tell that they are dog people. Barney fell in love with them immediately (I’m not jealous!). As a first timer to this, I felt very reassured that Barney was in good hands. During my time away I received regular updates of their adventures with Barney and I came back to a very happy dog. They also watered my plants while I was away and I came back to a very clean house; the bedding and towels had been washed and drying outside on the line. I’m pretty sure the house was cleaner than I left it … they even got some milk and bread ready for my arrival :-) I have no hesitation to recommend Stephen and Annette. Olivia and Joseph left our house this week after taking care of our cat Kiwi for 12 days. We miss them already. I'll admit that at first, we were hesitant about the idea of two 22-year-olds taking care of our house and pet. But a Zoom meeting erased any initial misgivings, and Olivia and Joseph ended up doing a fabulous job. Throughout the sit, the two of them -- who worked remotely from our house -- kept in close touch with us. They sent photos of Kiwi daily, many of them catching our cat in classic poses that we'd never captured on camera. At one point, our house lost power because of a neighborhood system failure. Joseph and Olivia kept cool heads and muddled until power was restored the same day. In terms of housekeeping, we came back to a spotless home that looked even better than when we left. They even taught us how to launder a comforter that we assumed had to be dry-cleaned. Who knew? They did. We also loved that Olive and Joseph embraced the Nashville community, in which we take great pride. They made the rounds of our favorite local parks and museums, then reported enthusiastically on their experiences. If given the chance, we would have them back again in a heartbeat. We know they have many sits planned in 2024, and we're envious of the all those who will receive their loving care and attention!
