Art and Sally were fabulous sitters! They communicated extremely well before, during, and after the sit. They kept Gonzo busy and sent picture updates everyday. I came home to a super clean house and a content doggy. And some yummy Thanksgiving leftovers haha. I would recommend Art and Sally to anyone!
Gillian and Erie were amazing! They were very nice and easy to communicate with through the sit. Umbra was well fed and she got some good playtime, as well as some supervised time outside , which is her favorite! They were so clean (cleaned and put away their dishes, washed and folded the towels and bedding they used, took out the bathroom trash, and cleaned Umbra's food bowls thoroughly)! They were also extremely understanding and communicative when the toilet handle broke during the sit (not their fault at all), and even tried to fix it for us. Gillian and Erie so so great and we'd be happy to have them sit again if the timing ever worked out again! THANK YOU Gillian and Erie!
I wish I could leave Eric 100 stars! Ivy is a sweet girl but I always warn sitters about an aggressive behavior she has towards a particular dog in the neighborhood (the feeling is mutual between the dogs). Three years on this platform, and there has been no incident - I am so grateful that when the behavior did occur, Eric was there to save the day. He handled Ivy with calmness and care - clearly he has a long history with all types of dogs as he was unfazed and able to settle her. My neighbors loved him too. Can't say enough about him.
Our sit with Kacey was enjoyable and Kevin made us feel welcome from the beginning . Kacey had an easy routine to follow and always showed her affection with cuddles and engaging play time. It was hard to leave her when our sit ended. Kevin’s condo was spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood was vibrant, convenient and great for walks, shopping and eating out. It was 3 mts to the nearest train station & less than a 10 mt walk to either the Lake or Wrigley stadium. Kevin was a good communicator and appreciative of the photos and updates of Kasey and her adventures. We would definitely recommend this sit and hope to return.
This was a wonderful sit and Rich made the stay really smooth with good communication and checking often that we were ok. Bruno is a gorgeous dog with a great temperament and very good with children. He was a joy to look after. The only challenge for me was his great strength, he can pull on the lead when out and about which was really only a problem when he wants to enthusiastically greet another dog. That being said there is not even a hint of agression in him, it is pure friendliness and he is a very loving animal. Bruno tended to sleep on the floor next to the bed which was very sweet. Rich was a wonderful host, making an effort to welcome us with treats for my children and clear instructions on how everything worked. Any questions I had during our stay were answered almost immediately, and with me not being used to boats I am sure my questions were pretty silly. The boat was incredible, it was such a great experience for both me and the children and we enjoyed paddle boarding, feeding the swans, stroking all the local cats and visitng some lovely places in the surrounding area.

This is the second time I’ve boarded my dogs with Lynda. I have confidence they will be safe and loved just like at home. I appreciate her great communication during their stay when I call to check in, and highly recommend her as an awesome dog sitter.
We took our dogs for an "evaluation" before we boarded them. To see if they "passed", they told us that our German Shepard totally "shut down" when she was with other females. Didn't even try putting her with males. So they (two Chihuahuas had other issues" They never once suggested that the get German Shepherd should not be near our beloved and therapy dog Morgan. Who was obviously a female....I told them that the German Shepherd and Morgan can't be together. They claimed they were dog professionals...the very next day, our German Shepherd killed our precious Morgan, in 8 seconds....thanks....

My dog came home happy and exhausted after his first weekend. Just Like Home cares, is fun for my dog and reasonably priced for me.
They do no offer the services that are advertised on their website, where clear sizes and descriptions are printed. When I brought this up, the reply was "No, Thank You" and hung up, not offering any explanation. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
Great service and all dogs there seem happy and healthy.

We have taken our dog to them for the past few months and they have been absolutely amazing. No kennels, huge fenced backyard for them to play, and they can roam where they want in the house. Our dog literally runs into their house as soon as we pull up because she loves it so much. I can’t recommend them enough for your doggie daycare or boarding needs!
My dog Molly is 15. In her senior years she is slow and has some special needs. Joyce and Angela go out of their way to make sure she is cared for and every need is met. She loves being there. She evens plays and bonds with the other dogs. When I pull up to their home, Molly can't wait to get to their front door. It is such a blessing knowing she is in such good, caring and loving hands while I'm away.
I stumbled upon Jet Set Pet Sitters when I was in need of both daytime care and boarding while we were in the process of moving. Joyce and Angela are beyond FANTASTIC! They love the dogs as if they were their own. After trying a more traditional boarding facility last summer, I was nervous to leave our pup again. I can’t say enough good things about Petlandia!! Wendy and Nate are so patient with my nervous pup, Roo. They are amazing about checking in; both throughout the day while he’s at daycare and weekly just to bring up occasional behavioral/health concerns. They both obviously care so much about each individual pup, and tailor their care for each dog’s needs! The Petlandia set up is so fun, and highly enriching for an adventurous pup. We only use their daycare services, but they also offer boarding/daily walks which I’m sure we will look into for future needs too! Grace and Roo 🩵 Petlandia!
We were so nervous about leaving our puppy, other dog, and two bunnies for a week over the thanksgiving holiday. We had Bailey come house/pet sit for us, and could not have been happier! "Wendy and her team took such great care of our pup, both for walks and for boarding. He was an older gentleman who didn't always want to get going, and Wendy and her team let him set the pace. I highly recommend without any hesitation." That was my review from over a year ago, one dog ago. Now we have Oakley, a much younger and more energetic head strong girl who is so very well cared for by Wendy and Bailey. They have so much patience and insight into dog behavior. They use positive skills to coach our little one even when she doesn't want to be coached. Consummate professionals, they leave the dog and home in excellent condition with clear communication and frequent photos to let us know how our sweet one is doing when we can't be home with her.
I have used Wendy’s services for both daycare and overnight care and I cannot say enough great things about her! I have a bit of an anxious pup who doesn’t really like playing with other dogs and has separation anxiety. Wendy has done so much to go out of her way to make my dog feel comfortable and cared for. It's not easy to leave your dog when you know she is anxious but Wendy makes it so much easier with frequent texts and photos and by being so gentle and accommodating!
Petlandia Pet Care is legit just the best. I’ve been working with them for 8-ish years and they’ve consistently been professional, communicative, and helpful. Additionally, words truly limit me in expressing my appreciation for their flexibility now, and especially during the pandemic, as my work schedule was unpredictable and changed constantly. When I adopted my Abbey girl, she was super beat up and had clearly experienced some trauma. Now my sweet girl is an arthritic senior pup, who continues to enjoy her unconditional love and pets and walks and treats with the folks from Petlandia. Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our pibbs!
Petlandia is awesome! Wendy is awesome! I did daycare at Petlandia with 2 Shetland Sheepdogs and a Shih tzu. One of my shelties was very shy and scared of new things and people. Wendy worked with Tori and formed a bond with her very quickly. My Shih tzu loved the whole area to explore and play with other pups! She always had the best time. Hunter my older sheltie found his comfy spot and napped. My pups had a week stay with Wendy at Petlandia. I trust and love Wendy like no other dog care person!
Petlandia is wonderful! I have a pit bull/ heeler mix who often has issues with new people. Wendy took the time to get to know her and she is now officially on my dog's best friend list. My husband, myself and our pup just moved to the SE area and we were stressing on finding a doggy daycare. We both work all day and didn’t want our pup to be home alone; he has a lot of anxiety & especially separation anxiety. We found Mary Ellen’s daycare and immediately she sounded like a good fit. We’ve been taking our pup to her for about a month now and it’s been going great! We were really concerned that his anxiety would be an issue and that maybe it’d be a bit much for Mary Ellen, but she quickly dispelled those fears. She’s been working with our pup and helping him adjust to the new routine and has been incredibly kind and patient. We’re so grateful to have found Mary Ellen ☺️☺️☺️
We LOVE Wag Along! Our pup has been going there for a while for daycare and comes home happy and exhausted. We've also boarded her there and had a great experience. Mary Ellen is knowledgeable, flexible and reliable, and it is such a great spot for our pup to spend some time each week! Our girl can be a little nervous to leave us (she grew up during pandemic stay-home orders), but warmed right up to going! I know how much she loves it by her excitement when we pull in for drop off & at the end of the day, she usually doesn't want to leave! We consider Wag Along her second family and highly recommend them for boarding or daycare :)
I feel grateful to have found this day care/boarding location for my pup! I’ve brought my pup there for day care and I’ve boarded her for as long as 5 days. My dog always leaves happy and tired from playing with all the other wonderful dogs. I trust that Mary Ellen keeps a watchful eye over all of the dogs while they are under her care. Mary Ellen is excellent at communicating with me and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my puppy there. I would highly recommend!
Mary Ellen is the best. We always leave our dog with her when we're away and have been doing so since 2016. As soon as we pull up outside her house, she starts whimpering to get out and join her friends. Mary Ellen has two dogs of her own, Margaux and Rou, both wonderful golden retrievers who our dog adores. They're kind of like benevolent older siblings to her. I often think our dog has a better time than we do — home away from home!
I took my anxious 1 year old puppy to Wag Along to try to help with her separation anxiety and socialization. Mary Ellen took extra good care of her and within a few weeks Bootsy was more confident and well behaved and she loves going to see Mary Ellen and to play with the other dogs. I appreciate how very easy drop off and pick up is, and that my pup is still clean at the end of the day. Mary Ellen is kind, responsible and the price is right.
We’ve taken our energetic 1.5 year old heeler Sylvie here since the beginning of the year, been a very positive experience. Space-wise it’s essentially a house & yard, rather than the typical warehouse type areas of other doggy daycares. We appreciate the fact that the owner, Mary Ellen, has been doing this a long time and is very hands-on – it’s good to know our pup’s with someone experienced & who really cares about both the animals & how things are run. She’s flexible and the whole process has been super easy. Price is pretty standard. Our dog is fairly high strung and at first she had a lot of anxiety about being left there. But after a little while she got over it, now it’s fun to watch her excitedly run to Mary Ellen & all her doggy friends in the morning. I think the daycare has actually helped out her maturation process. Mary Ellen sends video clips and/or photos during the day showing them playing & lounging around, which is fun for a doting dog parent like me. The pup comes home happy & tired. We just do part-time right now - to socialize Sylvie & keep her company while the humans work, also to create a familiarity in case we ever have to board her there sometime for travel. Highly recommended.
We love having our Sully with Mary Ellen. We never worry about him when he’s there. We use daycare and board with her when we are out of town. He is always excited to see her and she takes such good care of the pups in her care. Recommend her 110%.
Mary Ellen takes such good care of my baby, I never worry at all when she’s there. My dog was super timid before she started going about a year ago and now she’s so happy to go see her friends each time. Mary Ellen watches a nice variety of sizes and breeds, so she’s exposed to all kinds of dogs, which is helpful for the real world. I literally don’t know what I would do without her. We love Wag Along!
Mary Ellen is amazing, I’ve been trusting her with my dog for a while now. I recently used her for boarding, and she went above and beyond when taking care of my dog. I had to drop off my dog right after being injured and Marry Ellen took her with out hesitating. She gave her her meds and cared for her like I would have. She even sent me frequent updates and pictures to help ease my anxiety. I truly don’t think you will find a more caring pet sitter in the Portland area!
Denise has been taking care of my fur babies for over 2 years. I don’t know what we would do without her. She is dependable, flexible and most of all wonderful with our pets. Best pet sitter in the Portland metro area bar none. Diane has a passion for pets, and unlike some pet sitters she cares for special needs pets as well. My kitty is insulin dependent, and anytime we are leaving town we can trust to Diane to take care of him and make sure he gets all his medicine and insulin. I don't trust many people with my pets, but I trust Diane with mine. She has a passion for pets, and her kennel free boarding for dogs is top-notch. Any time I have to leave town, I can rest easy knowing our pets are well cared for.
