We loved sitting for Rebecca and appreciated the opportunity to spend time with her lovely dog, Monty. We were treated with kindness, a detailed sit guide with 100% accurate doggie information plus open communication prior & during the sit. Monty loves everyone but is especially fond of being with a female sitter. He's friendly, loving, super cute, will be your faithful shadow plus await your return but this didn't bother us as Rebecca mentioned it beforehand. He loves his off lead walkies at the park & especially with treats :). Rebecca has a lovely, super clean and easy care home in one of Perth's safest suburbs. There are heaps of great cafes/restaurants and supermarket options close by plus is well connected to the running/cycling path network and public transport. We would happily sit for Rebecca again.
The housesit was paradise for me. I felt comfortable, autonomous, free and at ease with the environment, the house, the nature, the animals. It gave me the opportunity to improve my knowledge about horses, and also about a few tricks related to living in a remote place, off-grid. The horses have friendly temper, everything went smooth, and I treated myself with fresh eggs from the healthy chicken. The site is peaceful and vegetation is luxuriant. easily accessible from Barcelona by bus. I will definitely try to come back. Xavier and his family are dear to my heart ❤
Wow, where to start... We had over two fantastic weeks in beautiful Copenhagen with the sweetest cats we could have wished for! Chelsea & Oscar are such gentle souls and the best company. We were prepared that it would take a little while to warm up to them, but on the first evening they were already getting closer to us playing and brushing. Both have great personalities, Chelsea is more likely to come up to you but also knows exactly when she needs her rest. Oscar you convince with his favourite brush and when he smells cheese ;) We could go on enthusing for a while.... they both really made it very easy for us. And the harder it was to leave after a longer time.... Sarah & Daniel (our fantastic hosts) were very welcoming on arrival and gave us a nice first evening with pizza, great stories about life around the world & insider tips for Cph. Sarah communicated very clearly and helpfully both before our arrival, in the welcome guide and during our sit. We knew where we were at all times and what to look out for. Sarah & Dan's spacious and comfortably furnished flat provided us with everything we needed for a housesit. As well as being perfectly located for exploring Copenhagen, it's a dream to look out of the window at the city and the lake. We want to say a big thank you again for your trust & the opportunity - and can only recommend this wonderful sit to every cat and Scandinavia fan. We wish to see Chelsea & Oscar again... We had an amazing time taking care of Percy and Betty! They are the friendliest and cuddliest cats ever! It was such an awesome experience, we stayed a whole month and could have easily stayed for another. Along with a great house and even greater home owners you would be missing out to not stay here. Jenny and Gaz were fantastic, they were super helpful and communicative, making us feel right at home:)
We had a lovely weekend with Lola & Bailey at Avrils home. We received printed home and pet care instructions via email, that were clear and helpful. Communication before and during the sit was very good. L&B are easy to care for, fun characters who have a cute secured catio off the kitchen. Bailey was more affectionate and Lola more energetic. Avril’s lovely home is recently renovated, with a spacious lounge and modern kitchen. Supplying everything for a comfortable sit. There is a nice big garden and outdoor furniture, but the weather was not good enough to enjoy it this time. Sitters have a double room and bathroom. Fresh linens and towels provided. As the cats need to be secure indoors, all the windows are kept shut. We were grateful for the fan supplied in the bedroom to keep cool on a warm night. The location is very close to public walking paths that take you around the countryside, river and a lake. We took several nice walks directly from the house. Nearby Ripley is accessible on foot. It is a very nice village with a Co Op store, bakery, takeaways and pubs. Nearby town, Guildford (10 mins drive) provides good transport links and everything from Shopping to Fitness Centre. Recommended :)
We had a great week looking after Luna in Reluca & Sebi's amazing apartment! The location is incredible, just a few minutes from St Katherine Docks and maybe 10 minutes to the north side of Tower Bridge. It's ultra modern and comfortable, and they have a really nice coffee machine as an added bonus. They were both such nice and friendly hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them throughout. I met them online in advance to get some more details, too. Luna is ridiculously, impossibly cute - she looks like a Pixar cat. She was very friendly right away and enjoyed being pet. She was also very low maintenance. She is a complete sweetheart and she made us laugh every day. All in all an incredible sit!
