I loved my time at Paul and Wowies. The cottage is lovely and comfortable, the pups were funny and mischievous (I think my brush is still there!) and I learned a bit about sheep. I even got to drive a gator (another first for me!). Paul and Wowie were very generous with their time the night before I took over in making sure I was comfortable about everything that was required. Had a great time and won't hesitate to go back if the timing is right.
What a wonderful sit! Luna and Ann are both gems and the home is well lit, extremely comfortable, clean and perfectly located. Luna is such a sweetie, very easy to care for and gave great couch snuggles. You have to be careful about leaving things out of her reach (even a dish rag hanging off the counter!!) but other than that she is very easy. I wish Ann was my Australian Aunt LOL. She is so easy going, realistic, has a great sense of humor and is very grateful. The neighborhood was spectacular. So many great wine bars and restaurants just around the corner from the house. Very walkable and easy transit to other parts of Melbourne. A great local experience - 10/10 sit!!
Nice relaxing sit. Rimke was very hospitable and friendly too. The 2 cats are pretty independent. One is a bit shy and the other one real kuddly and wants to be with you but both very nice. A garden to sit in plus Netflix on TV. Perfect place for walking or biking to explore the Dutch landscape. Tip : around the corner the snackbar has the best special hamburgers !
Thank you so much! I’m very pleased, and grateful that I had the opportunity to take care of Cleo, Coco, Rosie and Tilly. I immediately fell in love with them! Sarah and Rania were very welcoming, made me feel at home, and the communication was very good. Before, and during the sit. The apartment is very cosy, full equipped, and in a very nice neighborhood: quiet, everything at walking distance, a dog park in front of the building, and another „normal“ park with stunning views on the other side. I often walked the dogs there, we all loved and enjoyed it. They all have their own character, and are all very cuddly, and it makes me still smile, and fills my heart when I think of them, and of the whole sit. If you come in summer, and want to go to the beach, you can do that easily. It takes only 15-20 minutes on foot, or you can have a swim in the nice pool downstairs in the garden. The sit at Alexandra‘s place was fantastic! I had the chance to take care of her wonderful dogs Dobby and Boo and her cat Tom. It was such a blast! They are all super cute, well-behaved and easy going. Get ready for a lot of cuddles! ☺️ Moreover, Alexandra‘s flat is beautiful and super well located - all in all, the perfect sit! Buddy is a great dog. He listens really well & he was easy to take in the car to find local areas to hike. There’s a nice back yard and deck to enjoy the weather & Buddy can run & play. Neighborhood is easy to get to with lots of sight seeing close by. House is comfy, easy to get used to and quiet. Joe is easy to communicate with, easy going and very kind. I’d recommend this dog-sit to anyone.

Just boarded my dog for the weekend and the experience was great. The kennels are clean, the yard is huge, and everyone was kind and honest. A lot of places will lie about how your dog is adjusting just to make you feel better, but they were 100% honest in how he was doing. If I ever need to board him again this will be my first choice! We had our 2 lab boys stay here 2 nights and they came back happy and healthy! They seemed to really enjoy themselves and were tired when they came home! All of their belongings came back just the way I sent them! I love that this is a smaller kennel and all their kennels are indoor/outdoor runs! They have a GIANT yard they let them out to potty and run around in! Facility looks clean and the owner is a very nice woman! I have one pup who is more on the skiddish side(not aggressive, just scared) and she knew just how to handle him! This is definitely our new kennel for when we go out of town! Only down side was not being able to pick them up Saturday evening when we returned, had to pick up Sunday morning instead!
I left my cats there when I went on vacation, and I left my dogs with my father-in-law. Seeing how well they treat their animals, I'll leave my dogs there next time, too. Fran and Randy, the owners, are really nice people, and not in a fake way, like so many other professionals. Their manager? Employee? I don't know her title, Juliana is also very polite, and clearly loves the animals. 10 out of 5. 👍👍

This is the third time that I have left my loved ones with Fran and Randy. This time, we had 4--my 2 older 12 yr old brothers and our son's 2 (one that had never stayed in a kennel before). I was worried about the older ones since they had not been there for 4 years. Fran and her crew took excellent care of our boys and they looked wonderful when we returned after 10 days. She was also very attentive and responded to every quizzical email that I sent. She calmed our fears and loved our boys. What more can you ask for???
I scheduled an appointment to drop my dog off here for 5 days. The man who took my call assured me that they had room and could take my dog on the specified day. Upon showing up at 7:30am-their listed hours on google-there was no one to be found. I called the office and I watched as the phone rang in the abandoned, dark office. They failed to mention to me that they had special “holiday” hours the day that I planned to drop my dog off. They opened at 3pm instead of 7:30am. This place is pretty far out. It’s not like I can drive by and make sure their hours match their google hours. One could make the argument that I should have checked their website first-which I tried to do- but unfortunately their google website linked to a pill website that sells cialis. :) That probably should have been my red flag. I had to frantically call around to find another resort in time to make both my two and a half hour and make my flight by 1 pm. Not a good experience.
We were supposed to take our cat to be boarded here before our vacation out of the country, but that ended up not happening. Luckily my friend agreed to check on him periodically at home while we were gone! My husband told Fran that we would be there around 11AM, but because life happens and things come up, we were running behind. My husband emailed her to let her know we were running late. She called me and I told her we were walking out the door, as we were speaking, and apologized for the inconvenience. She immediately hung up on me. I felt very disrespected. I understand we were running late and inconveniencing her, but we did our part and let her know and we apologized. We will not be giving our business to someone who can be frustrated to the point of hanging up on a customer, even when the customer apologized for being late. We tried calling back a few times and there was no answer. When she finally answered, I told her that we would no longer be bringing our cat up there and apologized again for any inconvenience. Her response to that was "oh my gosh!" in a rude tone. I just didn't appreciate the attitude and how we were treated and we will never give them our business. This makes me sad because they had pretty good reviews, but we didn’t have the same experience as others.
We have been boarding our dog,Yoda, for over two years with Fran and Randy. Yoda is a very shy nervous dog and does not like changes in her routine. She receives excellent care and does wonderfully well at this kennel.
Our dogs have stayed at Frandy several times and the care that they receive there is exceptional. The grounds are well kept and I always feel like the dogs had a better vacation than we did!
