Vera and Kurt are a charming couple and a dream pair of house-sitters. They did everything right, kept in contact, were wonderful with our dog and cat, looked after the house - and are extraordinarily kind and interesting people. If they offer to house-sit for you then you are lucky! We feel as if we have made some new friends and indeed they have asked us to go back and visit them in Cologne!

Anja and Hannah are the perfect house/cat-sitters. We can't even describe how grateful we are to them for how respectful and kind they have been towards us and Konjo. Anja kept us up to date since the minute we stepped out of our flat, by sending us pictures of our little furry baby. We came back to a super duper clean home (even cleaner than how we left it!) and a very happy Konjo. I always struggle to leave my baby, but as soon as I met Anja the day before leaving I knew I could just enjoy my time away without worrying about anything. Anja has this reassuring presence that conquered our trust immediately. We would love to have Hannah and Anja back any time, it's been a real pleasure having them looking after Konjo and our place. Thanks so very much, we look forward to having you back here!

Jan and Fiona were great sitters! They were easy and lovely to chat to from our first meeting. It was really sweet hearing them speaking German to our cat Ned - he really seemed to respond to it! The house was left clean and tidy and they even washed and hung up our sheets. They were also very easy going when we couldn’t meet them before the sit as planned. Brit and Nico took excellent care of our dog, Max, and of our house. They are a very kind and caring couple who showed real affection for Max. That affection was reciprocated. I would gladly invite them back in the future and would give them an unqualified and excellent recommendation for anyone else looking for a sitter.

Anika did a good job with the dogs and overall kept the flat nice and clean - however we noticed post visit that one of our collection wine bottles had been opened and the remainder placed back in the wine cooler. Given it’s a bottle me and my partner had stored for years it’s a shame to see that the sitter took advantage of this without asking for permission - there were plenty of other bottles we would have happily allowed to open had she asked.

Rene and Kerstin were amazing sitters! Very easy and friendly communication, house was left in perfect state and my cats were very well cared. Thank you both!

Sonja and Steffen are such lovely people! Totally reliable, kind, friendly and professional. Sonja is a vet, so what more could you ask for?! They sent regular updates on my dogs, who adored them. What a great experience. Would recommend 100%.

Couldn't have asked for better sitters for our first use of the scheme. Frank and Regine were so lovely, and loved our pets as much as we did, meaning we were able to be on holiday without any concern whatsoever, infact the only worry was how sad the pets would be when we came home! They treated our house with total respect and i never had any concerns at all. 100% recommend.

Lea was absolutely beautiful. She arrived the night before as we requested and got to know the dogs and chickens quickly. Petrie (who can be a bit wary at times) took to her quicker than I’ve ever seen before. We felt completely confident in the care she provided to the animals and the house and would love to have her back again! Highly recommend Lea to others.

Olga was with us for the weekend and established remarkably high expectations for our future pet sitters 😊 I had to delay our departure because of a work emergency. When the situation was resolved and I was finally prepared to leave, I discovered Olga reading in the living room with Spice sleeping next to her, which was a truly heartwarming sight. Olga took Spice on long walks, in fact, I don't believe she ever left the house without him. One day, she walked Spice for 7 kilometers, and the day after , she took him to a dog-friendly café and treated him to a dog-friendly ice cream. Olga even purchased treats for Spice to enjoy later. She even took pictures of Spice and left them as a surprise on the fridge! I cannot praise Olga highly enough. She is a delightful person, easy going, great talking to and we are honestly can't wait having her sit for us again.

Vilna was absolutely amazing. Marley had his pills regularly and he was very calm when we got back. The apartment was pristine and we even came home to a sweet treat 😊
