The property, house and area, being in the Santa Cruz Mountains were all awesome. I loved the hiking, and the biking that I got to do. BUT: The best part was these 2 sweet doggos. Juels is an impeccably trained, submissive sweatheart of a dog. She just wants to please, and snuggle. She tries so hard to be good that is hurts your heart... because when Struppie acts puppy-ish... and he needs a stern word? Juels worries that it's her. Struppie is a crack up. He's smile? and the way he prances to you when you call him? You can't help but laugh and ruffle his curly top. They are adorable. Simply lovely and lovable. I left yesterday and I missed them and teared up the moment I drove away. Daisy is awesome too. I hope I get to go back some day.
Lucy and Simon made us very welcome. Dougie is a very friendly, happy Labrador. He loves company and being with people, he enjoys his walks and there are some lovely walks easily accessible from the house. There is easy access to shops and to Bath city centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our sit with Dougie
Max is a sweet older dog who loves to take short walks and gets excited to see you. He takes his personal space seriously so no cuddles or touching of his paws but does let you pet him. He knows how to sit and isn't too excited to learn to shake. I enjoyed his company while we sat and watched movies or got some sun in the back yard as I read my books or water the plants. It was a joy spending time with Max. Thank you Jessica for trusting me with Max and your home.
We really enjoyed our stay at Giovanni & Sarah’s charming country house. It was lovely to get to know them and spend time with there special sweet cats.
Looking after Evie was so pleasant! She is so lovely and nice! The house is very beautiful and there is a lot of walks in the fiels around! Sally and her husband were very kind and we really enjoyed looking after Evie.
Thomas and Sarah were kind enough to take a chance on the two of us to watch their beautiful home, plants, chickens, and doggies even though it was our first house sit through TrustedHouseSitters! The two of them own a breathtaking property that anyone would but lucky to stay at it. From the moment we walked in the door, we were stunned by the beauty of the landscape and decor. They have two labradoodles named Bruce and George who have the absolute sweetest personalities! They loved to play with one another but also enjoyed following us around and lots of cuddles! Walking them was a breeze as they are well trained and very responsive. Thomas and Sarah left us a nice thorough printed guide on their home, pets, and area which made everything run a lot smoother! The two of them also communicated with us throughout the trip despite the time difference. If it ever presented itself again, we would jump at the opportunity to stay at their dream home with canyon views, fruit trees, reliable owners, and two of the sweetest doggies we’ve ever met! Thank you once again for the opportunity to sit for the two of you!
