Gabe did an excellent job taking care of our energetic golden doodle and senior cockapoo. He was very attentive to their needs, and communicated well with us about any questions or concerns. He was quite responsible, polite, and caring. He took great care of our house as well.
I'm looking back on a LOVELY time in the Jordaan with beautiful Billie & Boba! A big reminder of why I like to travel via this platform - I enjoyed being in touch with Durba from right before the stay till after, and I've had the best time with Billie and Boba, the most precious creatures and lovely company! I arrived in a clean and lovely apartment, the location is amazing, and was greeted by Billie the cuddler. Sweet Boba needs a bit more time to open up, but is so fun to watch right from the start. Boba would find a spot near me a lot of the times, but cuddling was a bit too much still ;-), after a while I was allowed to, which was so cuuuute and made me so happy!!! I loved that Durba shared detailed information about their personalities in advance, and also good info about the apartment. It was very helpful to know expectations right from the start which made everything super smooth, also for B&B. Thank you for everything Durba, and I hope to see you all in the near future!
An exceptionally wonderful sit! Una and Dave couldn't have been more generous and welcoming. They have a beautiful home and a very comfortable bedroom and bath for their sitter. Emmy, their golden retriever made everyday a joy! She was really well behaved, fun to play with, loving, and very cuddly. Anyone would be lucky to care for Emmy. I hope to back soon!
We really enjoyed our time at Drew’s place and her pups are the sweetest! Daisy is a tiny pup that is so calm & sweet and Keke is a gentle giant. They were so easy to care for! And their home is very nice and cozy. Drew and her partner were very nice and welcoming. We’d definitely house sit again!
Aw caring for Ela was a sweet and overall a great learning experience for me. Rebecca and David had informed me before my sit that Ela had been diagnosed w lymphoma (with a good prognosis) and that she will be needing meds. I have experience giving pets meds. But what was different w this sit is the attention Ela needed when going on walks. Rebecca and David informed me that Ela can sometimes be stubborn on walks (she wants to go her way sometimes!) and will sometimes plant her feet or lay on the ground completely. Ela will eat things off the ground - so paying attention to her is important because unfortunately, other dog owners do not pick up after their dogs in the neighborhood I was up for the challenge and found a flow that works for Ela and I.. and it worked! You have to get used to her "ways", and kind of "outsmart" her. Or bring a little bit of her kibble in your pocket to motivate her to get up.. LOL. I think it's important to be an experienced walker and have patience w her, she's a senior dog. And I did not mind giving her the love and attention she needed while making sure she and I had a great time! I loved bringing Ela on mini adventures through the city, from Dolores Park , Crissy Field, Bernal Hill.. she LOVED it! She doesn't walk far but seeing her smile makes the moment special When she does want something, she will TELL YOU! lol If I had any meetings or calls during the day, I had to make sure I had all her needs met BEFORE these calls otherwise she would try to get my attention during my calls (just as a heads up to any future sitter) Overall I had a great experience. Rebecca and David's communication was great. Their home is is in a convenient location. And I have a sweet spot for Ela and we got to know each other. She is a senior rescue from Turkey who birthed a lot of puppies in her lifetime! Sweet Ela deserves all the love in the world and someone who can be patient and kind with her!
Stunning view, stunning house and stunning location but the best bit of this sit was the fur babies🥰. Primrose was a snuggle bunny and Arthur was full of fun. He loved to watch tv and wait for the adverts , Hoping to see a dog commercial….. hilarious. We hope to make it back again. Thank you for choosing us. ❤️
We had such a wonderful time looking after Randall and housesitting for Dot and James. Randall is absolutely awesome. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with warmth, and as the days went on he only became more affectionate. He was super happy hanging out in the same room as us while we worked/hung out. He was always very well-behaved on walks too! By the end of our stay, we were feeling quite sad to leave him. The house was also lovely and had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. There are lots of shops close by, and a train line is about 10 minutes from the house making it very easy to get around. We had a great stay and would love to look after Randall again one day. Seth and Lu 💛
