What an amazing view from this beautiful home! We had such a good time on Whidbey Island! Baylor and Olivia were a bit skeptical of us at first, but they warmed up after a day or two. By the end of our sit, Olivia was sleeping with me at night and Baylor was following me all around the house.
Tracy & Bradley are the sweetest pet parents you could ask for. They allowed us to use their car and made us feel so welcome in their home. They were the kind of people you could stay friends with after a house sit!

Belinda and Dan were excellent hosts - they were extremely responsive and their home is absolutely beautiful. We particularly enjoyed making use of their pool in the summer sunshine! ☀️

As for Gus, it’s hard to describe how perfect he is to have around! He’s such a cute little character and he’s as happy going out exploring as he is snuggling on the sofa. If you get the opportunity to stay, make sure you give him loads of belly scratches as they are his favourite 😍

We’d 100% stay again!

I had a wonderful time in Susie's house and miss it a lot already. Susie did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible, including lending me her car for the months I was there. The cats were a delight but unfortunately there wasn't enough time to teach them to write postcards - something I'm missing now. I got to know a lot more about wisteria when I uncovered part of the house. I'd love to see it now in Spring.

Taking care of Samantha and Gus was an excellent experience! Monique was incredibly welcoming. She picked us at the train station when we arrived and took us back when we had to leave, lent us her bikes and car, and she and her friend prepared us dinner the day we arrived. The four of us had really entertaining conversations! The town of Niort is small but beautiful. It is an old city, so it has historic buildings, and you can also enjoy the beautiful marshes nearby with many canals and natural surroundings. Samantha is a really warm and tender dog. She was always following us and making us company. It was really nice to take her for walks around the cute neighborhood and river. She does not get along with other dogs, so it is necessary to be capable of holding her firm, but she behaves really well with people. Gus was really independent, but also liked to cuddle with us at night! They were both really easy to take care of. We would definitely sit for them again. Thank you for everything!

I had a great time with Angela and Russell in their wonderful home. Russell picked me up from the train station the day before so it gave me a chance to see the routine for walking the dogs and feeding the cat, the goldfish and the dogs

I had use of their car which meant I could expore the area with and without the dogs. Zak and Queenie loved the beach at Narbonne. Dylan the cat would come and say hello and sit in front of the wood burning stove. Watched closely by both dogs!

I cant recommend this sit more. Its also a B&B so if you get a chance, go and stay over.

I don’t know how you can ask for more in a sit as to location, sweet dog, and beautiful home. Owners were awesome too. Very understanding and allowed a night before and after stay since I was coming from the East Coast. I was well-briefed on their dog Luna’s needs. It’s important for all future sitters to walk her very patiently because she has a hip problem. I’m very jealous of those future sitters because I so enjoyed this sit. Hope I’ll get a chance to come back after I build up my travel “war chest” ?.
