I had a wonderful sit for Marisa and Nick for 2 nights. Marisa was so kind and helpful prior to and during the sit, I would gladly come and sit for them again! The instructions were clear and even though I didn't get to meet them in person beforehand I felt very comfortable that I knew exactly what Ollie, Remy and Ramen needed because the instructions, pictures, and videos explained everything. They have a beautiful home in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood, which was originally one of the neighborhoods where the Rockefellers owned land. If you enjoy history and architecture then you'll love taking a walk around their neighborhood; just don't expect Ollie to come with you as he never wanted to go more than a house or two down the street! There are also tons of services within a couple of minutes drive which Marisa has been kind enough to outline in their home guide. I spent the most time with Ollie and Ramen as they were definitely the more social of the three fur babies. Ollie is very chill, he spent most of the time curled up in bed, but he did get up and want attention sometimes and his cues as to what he wants/needs are very easy to read. Ramen is definitely the president of the welcoming committee! He met me right away at the front door and always wanted to be where the action was! He was very affectionate and slept with me every night and was ready to get up and play every morning! Remy is much more reserved, he kept to himself most of the time and seemed to like to hang out in the basement. If you're considering applying for a sit for Marisa and Nick then I would highly recommend it! They were very kind and accommodating, their home and neighborhood were lovely, and their fur babies are so sweet and good-natured that they'll just warm your heart right from the start.
We had a lovely two week house sit with Taki! The location was excellent. Very safe neighbourhood with an abundance of beautiful green spaces and parks to explore on our walks with Taki! The views on the hikes were incredible. Our favourite was Twin Peaks. We also did Corona Park, Bueno Vista, Tank Hill, Olympus Park, Panhandle, Precidio, Lands End & Golden Gate all with Taki. He also loved going to the beach! Taki is just the sweetest dog. It took a few hours for him to get used to us and in no time he was snuggling up on the coach. He is smart, well mannered and was a pleasure to sit. Stephanie and Nathan were great! Their home was very comfortable and they went out of their way to welcome us. The kitchen was well equipped with all the bells and whistles. We really enjoyed our time with Taki and having the opportunity to see beautiful San Francisco! Thank you so much Stephanie & Nathan!
We spent amazing time at Isobel house! Buster was a great companion and he was easy to take care of. He’s friendly and likes cuddles, but at the same time he is independent and he likes to spend a time on his own sleeping or playing with his toys. The house is wonderful! And very easy to take care of. It has a terrace with beautiful view. Thank you so much Isobel for chosen us! A lot of hugs to you and to Buster from us! :)
From the very first time we FaceTimed with Mary we seemed to connect right away and it all felt very natural. Mary was so easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions prior and during the sit which made sitting Bebe a breeze. She was also so appreciative of all of our updates. We could tell how much she loved and missed Bebe. The home was located in the beautiful Primrose Hill and those in the know will know how perfectly located to all the best parts of London it is, with shops minutes walk, the infamous Primeose Hill Park overlooking London and onwards to the numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs that it has, absolutely ideal. Their home was so lovely and spacious, and we felt such a great energy from the moment we stepped in. It was super clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. It also had a lovely rear garden equipped with seating arrangements and a grill which would be a delight during spring or summer times especially. As an added bonus the home was tastefully decorated for the holiday season, giving us an extra warm and homey feeling during our stay. The star of the show that is Bebe, was just the sweetest most loving bundle of joy. He spent many days and nights curled up on the bed and on the couch with us as we snacked and picked movies together. He loves to cuddle and just lay himself on you wherever you seem to be. Such a lovable and “spicy” little character full of energy whilst also being super chilled. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and loved sitting for Bebe and would do it again in a heartbeat, we already miss him so much! Hazel was the cutest puppy we've ever seen. We had a lot of fun with her during our sit. The chicken are also very easy to deal with. The guide we received made everything pretty simple and easy. Crystal and her husband were really relaxed with the housesitting. Everything went easy! The house is also very clean and beautiful, I would love to sit it again! The house is well located in El Cerrito and there are many things you can do around even if you don't have a car!
Bloomers is a beautiful, gentle soul. He is very independent but loves a good cuddle and attention. Julia communicated very well both before and during the sit, and she was very accommodating. The house was clean, located close to the train station and well equipped. It was a pleasure to look after Bloomers, thank you!
