Alexa & Michael were wonderful sitters and good people. They were able to come to my home sooner than planned when our plans changed. They supported my nervous dogo with lots of love through the endless fireworks on the 4th of July. And they left my home tidy. They didn't even complain about the lack of air conditioning in our house & they were here in a massive heat wave!
Stephanie and Geoff are absolute wonderful hosts. Their home is lovely, safe and close to everything you might need or want to see in Maputo. Geoff gave me a lovely tour of all the places to go visit when I first arrived which really helped me orientate myself. I got to meet Stephanie in person when they returned home and that just made me love this sit even more because she is such a warm hearted and adventurous person. The cats were lovely company, each with their own personality, and each with a special place in my heart now. I highly recommend Stephanie and Geoff as hosts if you are planning your next visit to Maputo.
I had a lovely stay at Chris and Bella’s looking after Pan! She was very easy to take care of and affectionate in her own her own way! She loves your company and is very playful. The home itself is beautiful, and the area is great. Not far from both the district and northern line, and only takes around 30 minutes to get to central London. Chris and Bella were amazing hosts, left clear instructions, made me feel very welcome and were at the end of the phone if I had any questions. I would 100% recommend Chris and Bella, and the lovely Pan. I will definitely sit for them again :)
Chatarina and Andrew have a lovely comfortable home with large windows to make the most of the sea view and large garden. We really enjoyed walking down to the beach and along the shore to Culzean Castle at low tide. Tilly was great fun to be with and very affectionate. She is very laid back about having her paws and tummy washed in the sink, which is just as well as she loves to play with stones and lie in the sea, so can get quite sandy 😉. As well as the beach and woodland walks from the house, it is also in easy reach of the Galloway Forest Park and Tilly travels very well. We stopped for an early dinner in a pub on the way home and she was also very well behaved under the table while we ate. The chickens were very easy to care for and entertaining when they peered through the back door waiting for scraps. We would definitely sit for Tilly again in the future and would recommend this sit to anyone.
An excellent house sit with two adorable dogs. Very good communication with Deborah, before, during and after the sit. Deborah prepared lunch for us ,and helped us to familiarise ourselves with the lovely facilities , before leaving for the airport . There was no need to familiarise ourselves with Juno and Dixie ,they were immediately fussy and friendly The bungalow is beautiful and well equipped and in the glorious weather, that we had during our time there, the patio and parasols were well used For walking Juno and Dixie ,the nearby walks in The Byes are perfect. There , the footpaths amongst the trees and by the River Sid are a dog walkers paradise. Juno and Dixie love chasing each other around and enjoy a dip in the shallow water They are obedient and are never far away from you and each has it’s own individual personality Sidmouth is a really lovely area. I loved this sit. Naia is an angelic little cuddler and will take a snuggle however and whenever she can get one. Samantha is a snuggler too on her terms, and she loves to play with her toys. SMA is a bustling town and has amazing art and local artisans, quaint cobblestone streets, and beautiful ornate churches and gardens. Their home is in a perfect location for dining, shopping, sightseeing and walking Naia. I saw some more touristy areas on my many adventures with Naia, but Rick and Frank's neighborhood felt more authentic SMA, and I felt very safe and secure there. Their home is beautiful and comfortable with anything you could want or need. Their roof top terrace and beautiful two story stone wall were my favorites. Rick and Frank are such lovely humans. They were kind enough to put me up the night before and the night after their trip. They gave very detailed instructions about their kiddo's needs, wants, and preferences and anything I might need to use in their home. They gave terrific restaurant and cafe recommendations. There is a lovely coffee shop just steps from their front door with delicious pastries and coffee. They got my favorite, delicious fresh fruits and veggies before my arrival and we enjoyed a meal together my last night there, while we continued to get to know one another better. If you get the opportunity, don’t pass up this sit with these sweet babies, beautiful town, art, culture, HOs Rick and Frank, and amazing accommodations!
We can’t thank Janet and Murray enough for choosing us to take care of Remi, Buster and their lovely home for 7 weeks. From the first minute we met them they were very welcoming, made us feel at home and were easily contactable whilst they were away. Remi and Buster are so easy look after, you will fall in love with them straight away and we already miss them loads. Their home has a great homely feel and is situated in such a beautiful part of NZ. Thanks again guys, we loved pet/house sitting for you!!! X

Sirius Pet Care is a great, independently-owned dog-walking and boarding company. They also do cat sits at your own home. From what I have seen, they are a lot more personal and loving to their clients' pets than a lot of the other companies tend to be. What's more is they are priced very competitively. If you are looking for someone to take your dog to the park on a regular or semi-regular basis and/or you need boarding for your dog while you are out of town, or you need someone to take care of your cat while you are away, I would SERIOUSLY recommend SIRIUS Pet Care. I mean, the name alone is brilliant... (The Dog Star is called Sirius, right...? Brilliant.)
The owners were very caring and answered all our questions about the stay. Our dog loved staying with them and playing with the other dogs instead of kept in a kennel. We will definitely be using them again when needed!
Patricia and Steven have a great place . The dogs are happy and well behaved. They get to run out and play in the large fenced yard or hang out with people in the well kept living room. My dog Molly adjusted so quickly and didn’t even want to come home. I told Patricia she must be a dog whisperer .
I have been using Patricia almost daily now for over 3 months while I am at work. She is AMAZING with my 1 year old puppy, he always has so much energy and is ZONKED by the time he comes home. It was scary at first leaving him for 8 hours a day with another person but Patricia has eased all of my stresses by loving my dog almost as much as me and always being so pleasant to interact with. He has NEVER had any problems and when he was boarded for a few days while I was out of town I got photo updates regularly. She truly does love what she does and loves her animals and I can guarantee she treats all the pups she cares for like her own. He is always so excited to go, and it makes me so happy he can have fun and play while I work full time. I never have to worry that he is not being cared for or that he is unhappy. I cannot recommend Patricia more. Your pups will always be loved and well cared for here.
I have been so happy with my experiences using Patricia and Steven's Doggy Daycare, and most importantly, my doggos have loved the visits too. I was incredibly relieved to find them available last minute during Spring Break after I had a death in the family and had to leave the state unexpectedly and on short notice. I'm definitely not the kind of pet owner who is comfortable leaving their pets with just anyone, but after the initial Meet and Greet, I was much more reassured. Patricia told me she wanted the experience of loved pets coming to stay with them to feel like they were going to "Gwammie's house", and that was 100% the experience she provided. They make sure to take only a select number of dogs so each can get the attention it deserves and will strictly adhere to any diet your kiddo is on. Their home is an environment that is definitely dog-friendly and it really impressed me how well all the dogs, including mine, settled in and got along well with each other. I also really liked that the dogs have access to a doggy-door to go outside to a fenced area to potty when they needed. As an extra bonus, it was even a little less expensive than the pet hotel I would have normally used. When it came time to schedule my vacation, I absolutely wanted to use their services again and was so grateful they were available. When my girls realized where they were going, they were so happy to go back and got super excited in the car. It left me with a feeling that my dogs were comfortable with the previous stay and relaxed with the idea of staying again, which is always so reassuring when you leave your pets as a pet parent. In the future, they will absolutely be my pet-sitting service of choice!
We have been boarding our dogs with Patricia and her son for the last few years. They are so awesome with our pups. We recently just had our pup boarded with them for a week and half. And due to weather conditions we got stuck and couldn't pick our pup up for another few days. They were so accommodating and understanding. We really appreciate how much they care for our pup! I could not be happier with Patricia's Doggy Daycare. While visiting our original plans fell through and we were stuck with finding a quick alternative. I called a couple of other places, and they could not even get us a meet and greet until the end of the month. Then I called Patricia and she worked with my short notice needs. At the meet and greet I knew right away that this was a great place to leave my dog for the day. Patricia was very flexible and accommodating as our schedule changed at the last minute. Patricia and Steven have been taking care of my dog regularly for the last 6 months and I personally recommend them to coworkers, friends, and family members. She has a large, wonderful fenced yard that dogs have 24/7 access to via a doggy door--which is great for my high-energy dog that loves to play all-day-long. Patricia and Steven are life-savers for me and my best furry friend! I can't thank them enough for taking such great care of my dog.
We used Patricia’s Doggie Daycare for a week while on a trip to Texas. Patricia arranged several meet and greets to make sure our pups would all get along. There is a big fenced yard for the dogs to run around in as well as a doggie door for easy outdoor access. Patricia and her son Steven took great care of Dougal. She sent regular updates to me to ease my mind since this was the first time we had left our boy with anyone. Patricia is very knowledgeable on just about every aspect of pet care. Our dog Jasper had an amazing experience w Patricia and her son Steven. It was his first time and they took very good care of him! Patricia kept me updated and was very responsive to texts. Patricia seems like a dog whisperer! We were in the area from out of town for a weekend and needed a place for our dog to go while we went to the Kitsap Forest Theater. She was responsive to all communication, reassuring and professional. She and her son took great care of our fur baby, who had a recent bad experience at a different kennel and is now nervous. When I picked my dog up, she seemed content and having a good time. Thankful to have found her!
Lady Di doggy daycare and boarding is fantastic. Our dog, Pippi is actually pretty shy and was very nervous with our previous doggy day care. Now she runs up the stairs to see her friends! Pippi clearly adores everyone who is at Lady Di. We feel totally comfortable boarding her there too. One less thing to worry about when we have to travel. We have also used Lady Di's for in home pet care for our cat, Sophie. We were totally confident that she would get great care while we were gone and we were right. Sophie was happy to see us but happy, healthy, and friendly when we returned. Thank you to everyone at Lady Di Pet chaperone. I can't recommend them enough!

It's tough to let someone into your home when you're traveling, so finding someone like Sarah - kind, trustworthy, reliable... and a true animal lover is wonderful. Sarah is simply amazing. We've taken a couple of trips to care for ailing family members and she's provided home visit care for our shy cat, Tucker. Not only does she do the basics - feeding, cleaning the box, giving pets (if he lets her get close enough) - she also reports on anything unusual that she happens to see. Knowing she's here to care for Tucker has helped us focus on family matters without worrying about how our kitty is doing in our absence. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Sarah and her team. My active goldendoodle loved going to daycare sessions ahead of my 12-day trip overseas. I felt totally relaxed leaving her there. It's obvious they take care. I would totally use them again!
We are so grateful to Lady Di Pet Chaperone and staff for taking such wonderful care of our 5 month old puppy. I was forced to find a daycare after getting a not so nice note from a neighbor. I had seen this place close to where I live so I decided to check them out after doing research and reading reviews. After completing the application and sending an e-mail, I was contacted immediately. He has been going there almost two months and he is a very happy dog. He is excited to go and gets home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. Because of his positive interactions and the great care from the staff, he is friendly around people and other dogs. As for me, I am able to go to work without feeling guilty because I know he is in good hands. It is evident that Sarah and her staff really love and care about what they do.

We were a bit concerned about how they would do, but Connie obviously takes great care of her furry visitors. Her place is always very clean and all her guests appear to be happy. We have boarded our dog Leo with Connie since he was a puppy (four years now) and the experience has always been outstanding. Connie has been thoughtful about where she places Leo within her kennels and often places Leo next to other small dogs. Connie is easy to get ahold of and communicate with and has been a reliable and no nonsense border. She keeps her kennels clean and organized and truly loves the animals that she boards. Leo is always in a good mood when we come to pick him up. Connie is highly recommended!
I have shopped for boarding before and never thought I'd be able to find something affordable. Connie's rates are very competitive with surrounding boarding in this area. She keeps the dogs on a schedule, they're safe, warm and fed and my dog always comes back to me happy and healthy. I really like how each dog has their own inside kennel with a dog door to their own outside kennel. As a person, Connie is absolutely delightful and fun to chat with. She is very flexible about pick up and drop off times, which I find to be a huge advantage.I have hired this business 4 times now and I will definitely keep coming back. I highly reccomend this business.
I would not recommend this place. Had heard good things from reviews. However after having our dog there for 1 nite and half a day she called for us to pick up our senior pug. She was told upon drop off that he had never been in a kennel before. He is also deaf and has anxiety. Upon pick up at her chosen time per our conversation. She never got up from her backyard. We asked about pick up and she said go help yourself. To us this was horrible customer service. No explanation or I am sorry it did not work out or even a refund. Hope this sheds some light.

We knew Kate was the one we wanted to watch our kitties the minute we met her. She was knowledgeable about cats and proved that when she got creative in ways to get our kitties to eat. (cat owners know how finicky they can be especially when their world is interrupted) My kitties are typically very shy but they seemed to take to her quite well. Kate texted us daily updates to let us know how they were doing. That alone made our vacation so much more relaxing because I didn't stress about them being alone. I especially appreciated that she asked us to text her and let her know that we had made it home so she knew my kitties were taken care of. Goodness knows when traveling anything can happen and she had our back. Kate is awesome!
Kate watched our house and two kitties while we were gone for 8 days. We couldn't even tell that we hadn't been here, and the kitties were well loved. She was very professional and thorough. Will absolutely be using her again. Thank you Kate!

I’m really happy that we found Illahee Pet Cottage for our sweet little senior girls, Melina and Pearl. I am very particular about who cares for our dogs. Both of our dogs have medical issues and are pretty high maintenance with their medication schedule and handling, feeding requirements, and temperaments. Heather and Mikel are very loving towards our girls and do a great job at keeping up with their medical needs. We also really appreciate all of the pics and videos that Heather sends while our girls are staying there.
10/10 would recommend Illahee Pet Cottage! We have tried many many places around Kitsap and have been disappointed. Feels great to have found a place I feel good to drop my Corgi off and know he is in loving hands. He even smells BETTER than when I drop him off and dives out of the car to see Heather when we pull in! Simply the best !
Illahee pet cottage set the standards very high for dog boarding. My dog was thrilled at arrival, during his stay, and slept for a day straight because he had so much fun. Heather treats your dog with respect and she really loves taking care of the dogs. Why not have your best friend go on vacation when you go on vacation? This is the place!
Absolutely the best! I really appreciate that Heather takes time to send me pictures,videos and updates everyday! It gave me so much relief that I know my boy is having a great time. I'm very happy that I got to meet Heather and see how amazing she is with every dog under her care. I only review when I am obsessed with a business and Aunty Min’s is one of those for me. Janet has taken beautiful care of our cats over the last year when we have been out of town. She is communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cares for our Gizmo and Gilly like they’re her own. I can always tell that our cats have been well loved and well fed and well snuggled when I get home from a trip. Having peace of mind during a vacation is priceless to me!
