Gaia and Luna are two really sweet cats, they love being outdoors in their fun filled back garden that even has a stream at the end where ducks come and feed. Urszula is a beautiful person who cares very deeply for her cats. She was so kind and helpful from start to finish and accommodated me staying two extra nights at the beginning. Gaia is super playful and affectionate and Luna is cuddly and spends more time indoors. I grew so fond of them both and was sad to have to say goodbye. I really recommend housesitting for Urszula in her lovely home.
Baccus was the most delightful pup! He’s so calm, loving and obedient and we really enjoyed being with him for a week. He was happy to go for a walk in their nearby wooded parklands where we saw beautiful Lorikeets nesting. His parents are such kind people who welcomed us into their home - we’ve made new friends! You’ll enjoy looking after Baccus if you have the opportunity.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at Perrine’s place with her cat Minette. Perrine is a very friendly and hospitable person and gave clear and helpful instructions and advice about the house, the cat and the neighbourhood. The home that she has created is very bright and cosy (lots of windows and a high ceiling), and it has a really good and uplifting “energy”. Since we both work from home, we spent quite a lot of time with Minette. She seems to have gotten used to house sitters taking care of her from time to time, because she was very friendly (i.e. not shy) with us at all. She is very affectionate and cuddly, loves to be stroked and purrs loudly. Even when she wasn’t on our laps she still wanted to be close to us and slept in our bed the whole time. If given the opportunity, we would gladly return! :)
I spent 10 wonderful days surrounded by Taz, the dog, and Loki, the little cat. Ann and Gildas were very warm and welcoming. They were available if I had any questions. They expressed their gratitude to me numerus times which was really heartwarming. I am really grateful for that too! The house is charming, well-equipped and surrounded by nature: there are many beautiful paths in the countryside to take, free of traffic, so we could walk around without a leash. Taz listened to me most of the time, and if she didn't, she came back on her own, so the walks weren't stressful at all, on the contrary, they were great fun! Taz was very well-behaved in general. We played with sticks and did a lot of chasing. She is such a joyful and adorable dog too! She was very calm in the house when I was working. Loki, the little cat, is very cuddly too once he is used to seeing you, and very funny. Honestly, it was very easy to take care of them. I was really sad to leave and hope I will have the chance to spend time with them again.
I had a great experience cat-sitting for Sarah. Would highly recommend. The space was cute and clean. The cat was adorable (although quite vocal, which may bother some people). Sarah had great communication and made an effort to check-in and make sure I was comfortable. Was great meeting her and would definitely stay again :)
Donna and Todd are welcoming, gracious hosts who plan ahead and think of everything you might possibly need. They are well organized, provided a thorough tour of their home when we arrived, and introduced us to Mopsy online prior to our arrival. We received excellent instructions on Mopsy’s needs (and wants), along with all sorts of details about their peaceful home in the Connecticut woods. A very relaxing sit! Mopsy is easy going, yet engaging and fun! He loves to talk, spend time outside on the deck and chase his favorite toy! WiFi is good, and the TV viewing options are varied. Sitters do need a car, and there are a plethora of restaurants and shops within 15-20 minutes. We highly recommend caring for Mopsy while Donna and Todd travel, and we hope our paths cross again.
