Flora and her son were such great care givers to my baby, Midi. Flora visited our home on a very hot week and was careful on taking Midi (full black lab and gets warm quickly) out early in the morning and late evening to ensure he gets exercise in a cooler temperature - even took him to the beach for a few hours, so grateful. In addition, Midi was working on some training and she kept up the commands, it was like he didn't miss any of his good behavior techniques when I took him out when I got home. The house was super clean and was so well taken care of during my week away.
First I want to say, Thank You Ian and Karen! Ian and Karen came to sit my one year old Carin Terrier puppy, Mimo, for 6 weeks in Maui Hawaii. I was very nervous about leaving her for so long at such a young age. They stepped right in, and kept her in the daily routines that I hoped would help her deal with me being gone for so long. They have pet sit for many dogs all over and their experience really paid off for my girl. They promised pictures every day, and they did better than that. I got videos and pictures of my girl doing the things she enjoyed and showed me she was happy. Ian mowed my lawn and kept the areas around the house clean from leaves. I have a huge landscaped area and he made sure it was kept up. He asked for some projects to keep himself busy and surprised me with things done on my return. Karen was the other half of the team. She was the mom to my pup, and my girl got the mom attention to make up for me not being there. She gave her baths and brushed her, which is necessary with a Cairn. She attempted, with patience and care, to teach her some tricks, and actually got her to respond to some things that I had not been able to do. My little Cairn is not food motivated, so teaching her anything is nearly impossible. But she loved the attention! I will let them know way in advance when I go away again, and hope they can make it back. I know that my Mimo will be happy to have her Uncle Ian and Aunt Karen back again. This couple is the best. 5 star A+
